When I try to log in to Adobe Acrobat, a white screen appears and prevents me from accessing my profile. I don't even have the chance to enter my login credentials because the white screen appears immediately. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program multiple times, but the problem persists. Could you please provide some advice on how to fix this? Thank you! 

The e-sign software page states: "Acrobat Sign Solutions can also be configured to meet industry-specific regulations around the world, including HIPAA." There is a Learn about compliance button in that section, which takes you to an e-Signatures page. Unfortunately, that page does not mention HIPAA. How does one ensure that one's account is properly configured to meet HIPAA requirements?  This is important because, as Adobe states elsewhere: "Ultimately, the customer is responsible for ensuring compliance with legal obligations, that the Adobe service meet [sic] its compliance needs, and that the customer secures the service appropriately."  In other words, Adobe should tell us how to check that we have "secured the service appropriately." 

Hello! Recently we have had a user encounter an error when using Adobe Acrobat Pro that states the following: Cannot find or create the font ‘Helvetica’. Some characters may not display or print correctly. I have manually ensured that this user has all Helvetica-related fonts installed on their device, and verified that other users are not having this issue when opening this document, so i’m unsure what else to do.  I have also repaired and reinstalled Adobe Acrobat.  Any insight would be greatly appreciated. 

As of a few days ago, after the first launch Acrobat works normally, but after the second launch the UI becomes larger. Nothing helps. Is it a bug in the latest version? (Windows 11, 4K resolution, 1 monitor).

Acrobat is currently my default software for PDFs. So when I double-click on a PDF, Acrobat opens up. After the start of Acrobat it seems to run some processes in the background and during that time, I cannot work in the document. Since this only takes a few seconds, I’m not really bothered by it. However, what bothers me a lot: once Acrobat is ready, it has lost the cursor focus. So when I open a PDF form, I click into the first fillable field to enter some data. Then I might be able to type in one or two characters, then Acrobat loses the focus (probably because it finished updating some stuff in the background) and puts the cursor to the first content of the document. Since I’m still typing, Acrobat then creates a comment at that position since it thinks that I’m typing to note something down. Is there any solution to this annoying behaviour???

We are in the process of remediating fillable forms for accessibility with training from an outside vendor. The vendor is advising the tooltip added in the field property is not enough as not all screen readers will read that and, instead, that actual text in the tag object properties should match the tooltip. All the fields currently have a tooltip but I’m questioning the added benefit of this extra step within the tag. Does anyone know if the tooltip is enough?ThanksMeabh

Hi everyone,I’m using Adobe Acrobat and trying to copy text from a PDF document, but I’m facing an issue where the formatting gets completely messed up after pasting.Instead of clean paragraphs, the text comes out with random line breaks and spacing issues, which makes it hard to use for editing or documentation.I’ve already tried:Using “Copy with formatting” Opening the file in different view modes Restarting AcrobatBut the issue still continues.Is this a known limitation in Acrobat, or am I missing a setting that controls text extraction properly?Would appreciate any help or workaround. This issue occurs between AutoCAD/ Vectorworks/Microsoft Office suite apps. When we print/ save as Adobe PDF, the raster images appear pixelated. This issue occurs on both MAC & Windows devices.I can’t share the documents due to confidentiality reasons, so if Adobe Help can reach out, I’d appreciate it

When I compress a PDF file in Acrobat Std, the file is auto compressed to half the size, i.e. a 5 mb file is compressed to 2.5 mb. Question 1: assuming 2.5 is an acceptable size to send to a receiver, am I correct in saying that the receiver will be able to read the 2.5 mb file as clearly as he would the 5 mb file? Question 2: Is there away to create a variable compression with Acrobat Std, or possibly with a tool?a-jimjks

After the last set of Acrobat updates, I cannot edit headers & footers. I can add them to a document, but even if I try to edit them immediately after they are added, I get the message "Header & footers cannot be detected." Any solution?It is a simple problem as I have described it. The files are created with AutoCAD, MathCAD, spreadsheets, Woodworks, etc. It just cropped up on 01/26.  I can delete the headers/footers and re-add them. But, it is a pain & the software should work.

I have adobe pro and this has worked in the past, but has stopped working.  I want to change a signature in fill&sign - the X to delete a signature is grey, won't let me delete so I can change - HELP!  

We have a number of users who are having issues combining files.  What happens is after choosing the Combine button after adding the files, Adobe Acrobat locks up and says Not Responding.  This is happening randomly and only with certain documents. One thing I have noticed is it appears to be isolated to PDF files that only have this font in the Fonts tab of the document's Properties.  If I try to combine file that have other fonts, they seem to work correctly. This also seems to be a new issue this week and I know a new Adobe version was pushed out on Tuesday.  I don't have a way to roll back that I can tell but it's possible the new version has a bug.  Anyone else having issues?

Acrobat 25.001I want to print all pages of a pdf document. They need to be printed on both sides of the paper when multiple pages. But some pages need to be single side.For example:6 page document needs to be printed in 4 ranges: (1, 2-3, 4, 5-6). The single pages are address cover sheets for mailouts. The double-sided ranges are the letter itself. When I type the ranges just like that (1, 2-3, 4, 5-6), it just prints everything out at once on 3 double-sided sheets. It needs to be 4 separate sheets (2 singles and 2 doubles).Any way to get it to do this? Or am I stuck with creating 4 different print jobs each time?

What happened to the PASTE option.  I can copy and cut.  Paste is not a pick.  FIX THIS NOW!

I opened Acrobat today to be visually assaulted by the new home screen. ‘What do I want to do today?’ Remove the home screen!

I have an old machine from 2013, and I am just converting many documents from various size to A4 standard size, and the processes mostly crop and convert size.I’ve searched for which tool to do that and found Adobe acrobat can do that using PreFlight feature.But when I checked the latest version of the Acrobat Pro DC, the software did not even start due to my old laptop configuration model.So, I thought to ask about which version of the adobe acrobat pro dc introduced the PreFlight feature so I can check it if it may work in my old laptop.I did search the community but did not find any similar topic already opened or discussing it.So, please if anyone may help with just the version number or build number that would be really much appreciated.ThanksAH

How do I get the PDF file to stop automatically opening in Adobe when I download a PDF?  This is not a browser issue, as it is not opening up in my Chrome browser; it is opening up on my computer with Adobe. This just started a few days ago, and I have not changed any of my Adobe settings. Thanks!  

I have several PDF documents with many imbedded images. I would like to extract all the images from each document in bulk. I have found several online sources with instructions, but they don’t work. Are there any steps I can follow that actually work? These instructions result in entire pages being exported as images, but I just want the individual images:https://www.adobe.com/acrobat/hub/how-to-extract-images-from-pdf.html And these instructions refer menu options not available in my version of Acrobat for Windows: Any suggestions?    HiI am getting this error whilst editing a PDF. I am using the Add Content, clicking on Image, Choose Image and then going into my screenshots folder to select a screenshot (screenshot of a signature) to add to the PDF. Once I have selected my image and pressed the Open tab, I get the following messages ( I have been doing this for months without a problem. After the latest update to 25.001.21223 I am unable to run Acrobat on Windows 11 unless I choose to run Acrobat as administrator. If I run it as a normal user the program will appear briefly in task manager then will silently crash. After looking at event viewer I can see that it is crashing with “Faulting module Acrobat.dll” 0xc0000005.I’ve tried repairing the install, checking that protected mode is disabled, re-registering the dll file, checked folder permissions and ownership, acrobat cleaner tool, fresh install of acrobat, cleared adobe cache, sfc scan, ran without plugins folder, updated visual C++ redistributables, windows updates,  editing the registry HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe|Adobe Acrobat\DC\Privileged and added DWORD bProtectedMode set to the value of 0. None of these have worked for me. Any help would be appreciated.

How can I stop Acrobat from displaying this annoying, repetitive message every time I open, save as, or optimise a document?I have good reasons for working with Acrobat in English and documents in French, and I’d really like to avoid this question that keeps cropping up.   

Hello,One of our clients uses a program that generates receipts at a weigh station. A truck loaded with goods pulls up to the station, is weighed, the license plate is recorded, a PDF is generated (which appears briefly on the screen and then disappears), after which the driver can proceed in the program.Until two weeks ago, this worked flawlessly, but since then, every time the file is closed, Adobe Acrobat opens the start screen showing the recently opened files.Until two weeks ago, this was the solution, but it no longer works:Does anyone have any ideas? 

Hi everyone,  I am trying to copy pages from one PDF to another. On my old computer I'd select the pages on the left then use CTRL + C and It would show a cut line around the pages that were copied. Then I'd CTRL + V when moving my mouse under the page where I want the pages to go, and it would create a blue line. I just got a new computer and now when I do this it does not copy or paste. I have to drag from one to another.  Does anyone know how to fix this?
