Adobe has been an upsell machine with frequent disruptions, popups galore and AI BS all over their interfaces, ready to quit after a dozen years of handing them $$$ hand over fist.

I’m signed into my subscription of acrobat and the entire creative cloud- and suddenly I can’t access fonts- it tells me they are premium fonts not for free acounts (I pay monthly) when i reach out to adobe to help they can see I’m paying for it and the solution is to sign out and sign back in- Which i shouldn’t have to do every time. But everytime i open a document it tells me the fonts aren’t available. Also- if i select a text box with bold and underlined and regular font- Who thought it was a good idea that i only now get a drop down menu and have to select which style of font I want to use? (Example- I have 9 options for arial and if i select arial regular, then everything is regular and it removes all the bold and underlined) it’s not just an option to change it all to arial. That is sooo stupid- I can’t just change the font selection and get everything anymore.  Such a useless update.

The embedded video only plays once. I am trying to run a video on the last page. The video is about two minutes long. The first time it will play for about 15 seconds. Then it will loop to the beginning of the document ang advance the pages when it gets to the video it will not play it. See attached videos. Sometimes it works and sometimes it does not. Thanks.

Hello!I was messing with the JavaScript Editor window and unintentionally pressed Windows + Left Arrow, making the window fill the left half of my screen.When I try to resize to a smaller size, it just doesn't work. Is there any way to get this window back to normal? It's too big!(Restarting the program does not solve anything at all.) Thank you.

I have seen the post to another user with suggested steps and I have tried all the suggested steps.  Also checked to see if message was created using a different App - it was created with Acrobat - the PDF is from a Korean source and maybe the Korean characters confuse or throw off when trying to open into what is normally an English/western version of Acrobat?

Hello! I am creating a PDF in Adobe Acrobat Pro and want to be able to insert a signature field that you must use a certificate to sign. The "digital signature field" allows candidates to draw a signature in, which we can't allow. I've seen a ton of government forms that do this (attached an example of a publically available government form that does this), but I haven't been able to recreate it myself. I also know that under the Certificates tool you can insert a certificate signature somewhere on the PDF, but I would like it to be mandated as well as the default setting when someone clicks on the signature box. Quick note, in order for the example I uploaded to reflect the intended behavior, you have to view it in Adobe, not a browser!

It always stalls on open as it’s litany of featues no one wants or uses ping off around the net - disabling the most basic fuction of viewing a PDF quickly. It’s so painful to see and i honestly can’t wait for Adobe to fall victim to vibe coded apps...They’ve had billions to do better. 

For about a month now, PDF previews in the preview pane of Windows 11 Explorer haven’t been working. PNG and JPG files display fine. Even previews of AI, IDML, and similar files show up. I heard it might be due to Acrobat settings, so I enabled the option to allow previews/thumbnails there. I also reinstalled Acrobat. I’ve asked AI, but I still have no idea what’s going on. I don’t have any other PDF viewer installed, just the full version of Acrobat. What should I do? Is anyone else experiencing the same issue? (My drives are half-empty, cache is cleared, I have a Ryzen 9, 64 GB RAM, 4060 GPU… so it’s definitely not a hardware issue.) Could the problem be on Adobe's side?

Wir haben unsere Email-Software von David zu Outlook New umgestellt. Seitdem funktioniert die Senden-Funktion in Adobe nicht mehr. Sonst konnte man immer auf den Briefumschlag klicken und "Per Email senden" Standard-Mail. und es öffnete sich eine neue Email mit angehängter PDF drin. Es ist nicht möglich Outlook New als Stadard-Programm zu hinterlegen. Bei PCs wo noch David drauf ist, wird neue David-Mail geöffnet, bei PCs mit Outlook NEW, erkennt Adobe dies nicht als Email-Programm und sagt, es wäre kein Email-Programm installiert. Gibt es dafür eine Lösung? Wir versenden sehr viele PDF täglich und dies erzeugt unnötig viel Arbeitsaufwand, seit dies nicht mehr möglich ist. Das Nutzen vom alten Outlook ist übrigens keine Option.

Hi, I have been looking for an option on how to automatically rename a PDF file after it being split. The renaming should be based on each specific PDF files content. After having googled around I stumbled upon something called Action Wizard, where people have had an option "Auto-rename" under the "More" tool. However, I cannot find this tool within my package. I tried to find and download it here: https://acrobatusers.com/actions-exchange/?trackingid=JZXYQ but I cannot find it. Is it possible to use the Action Wizard Auto-rename program to help me with my split PDF files, and how do I download it? 

I am having the same problem as this post from another forum that was directed to be posted here:  When I save and close a PDF, the computer’s memory is maxed out and everything eventually freezes.  I have to force a restart to get everything back.  Same as the post linked above, Malware run is clean and I have tried turning off all the recommended settings.  I have tried repairing as well as reinstalling.  I’m not able to get a diagnostic log because of the freeze. This has been happening for a couple of weeks at this point.   Has anyone experienced this and been able to fix? 

I bought a perpetual license in 2013. I have a license key. I deactivated it from my previous computer. I don't have any activated devices on Adobe portal. Still I can't activate it on my new computer and I am getting an error message that I need to deactivate this license on another device. Please help I don't know what to do

The color image was scanned on the printer via Photoshop, and copied and pasted into ID. Text, in separate boxes, added in ID. PDF export settings High Quality Print, Compatibility Acrobat5 (PDF 1.4). Everything else left at default, no standard set. Printer settings (Canon TR8500 series properties) photo printing, matte photo paper, print quality high. Text comes out blue. Changing from”photo printing” to “standard” produces black text, but slightly less vibrant colors in the image. Is this an ID issue or a printer issue?

How can I default my copy number to 1. Somehow mine changed to 38 and I have tried all I can find to fix it. I even deleated adobe and reinstalled and it still defaults to 38. If I print from word or google it does not.

So it looks like Acrobat updated on its own, the desktop app itself not web, and for the last few days I’ve been trying to catch up on Wikipedia but tonight, I’ve noticed that it freezes on some pages, I cannot make out a pattern, then it finally loads but without some images. Only this time, there’s no error message at all so I can’t figure out why. Got a video of two pages where this happened. I’m scared there’s another bug in the program. (I uploaded a test for reference.)

Hi, I have a PDF file for a book manuscript, but when uploading to the printers, I have an error of one font not being embedded in the file. I cannot for the life of me fix it... I have Acrobat (I'm on an iMac) but all my googleing tells me to use the 'print to PDF' option which isn't there?! Do I have to pay to be able to use that?If so, is there any other way?? Thanks

Used to have an option to change a field's "format" to do handy things like phone numbers and dates.Since most recent update, this seems to be missing, along with a number of tother options.Has this feature been removed? Am I an idiot, not seeing it somewhere / doing something wrong?Any tips much appreciated.
