I am using the following javascript to extract a page (in this case page 11):   this.extractPages({nStart:10});   Since I sometimes will add or delete pages from a large file, I would like to simply extract the current page instead of a specific page number as the page numbers will change.  Or, I may want to extract the current page plus the page after it.  I'm looking for script to accomplish this.  Thanks.  

I recently purchased Adobe Creative Cloud (student) so I can create editable/fillable forms. However only Acrobat is showing in available Apps and not Acrobat Pro - which is what I need to create editable forms. I've logged in/out. I've uninstalled and reinstalled. Any suggestions?

I am using PAC to ensure my document is WCAG 2.1 compliant. One of the last things to do is add the PDF/UA identifier but I only get the syntax checks only and cannot add it. I have already repaired my installation. It does this across all my files. Version: 2025.001.20643Platform: Windows

This is the 4th time now I've wasted time searching for ways to stop the constant attempts from Adobe to push this Acrobat AI Assistant down my throat, what seems like every time I open the app. Yes, I've turned it off in preferences, twice in 2 different places!  Today I get hit with another invasive prompt window popping up "Ask AI Assistant to summarize" or some nonsense. (Failed to screenshot it unfortunately). So into the preferences I go again, to find another 'ticked box' under "Generative AI features in Acrobat", which I'm positive wasn't there before as I can't find the previous options that I deselected, leaving me to believe this has been turned back on by Adobe during an update. Surely that must be the end of it?WRONG!Not 20 minutes later...  This is definitely one of the options I turned off previously (that I now can't find), so why is this type of thing popping up again?  It should be simple...AI Assistant on: AI Assistant off:&nbs

I have reinstalled my legacy product after a system failure. I now receive constant messages that my serial number is not valid as I already have an activation tied to my my serial number. This is wrong- I don't have another activation. I have been going in circles tryingto contact Adobe to have this corrected or give mee a new serial number that will work.

When filling in the PDF form fields (of the PDF fillable form that I created), the text duplicates into every other field in the PDF, regardless of which box you type into. Help?

I cant believe Acrobat is doing this - I am editing a document my lawyer sent me it is taking a couple of days because there is a lot of information required. I use multiple computers because I work inmultiple locations. Adobe just totally destroyed all my work! I opened the doc this morning to resume my work and all the information I entered is mostly just missing - fragements of strings reman. That is it. Any way to recover? do you have versioning like word???

Hello, I have acrobat pro, the latest version. In these last 2 days it has started do crash often, several times in one hour, I have already done all the steps of this page: https://helpx.adobe.com/it/acrobat/kb/troubleshoot-acrobat-crashes.html, and currently using acrobat diagnostics to report the crashes. It's becoming very limiting, because I study almost every day with adobe acrobat, so I can't see me having this problem in the long term. But how can I contact someone, for example a support team? 

When I use the prepare form feature of Adobe Acrobat Pro, I use the text fill-in boxes to write out the information I need so I can send to a client for signature. When requesting the e-signature feature, all the previously filled out boxes erase and is replaced with a new text box prompting to fill in the information again after it is sent out for signature. This is problematic for the capacity I am using the e-signatures and hope their is a fix to the situation.

Hi I don't know what this bar is actually called, but I would like to move it to the bottom of my Acrobat-Workspace. Is that possible?        Regards

Hello, trying to get some help on a small problem that is irritating. This has been happening for some time across multiple updates of Acrobat Pro on Windows 10. It continues to happen with the newest updated version (22.003.20282.0).  It happens on two different computers both running Windows 10 and updated versions of Acrobat. I will close a document and then go to move the folder and Windows wont let me until I completely close Acrobat. It seems to keep grip on the document and makes Windows think it is still open and in use. Thank you for any ideas on how to solve this.

I am having multiple files with tags and I want to remove the tags once at a time for all the files. I know to remove tags single file but I don't know how to remove multiple files.

Bug summary: There is an ongoing issue with the most recent update for Acrobat (version 24.005.20421) that may prevent you from opening PDFs after they have been saved to a network location. The error message: "A running instance of Acrobat has caused an error" comes up when trying to open a file from the network and if you check task manager there will be several (depending on how many times you tried to open the PDF) Acrobat tasks running in the background.  Fix/Workaround: (Windows only) End any "Acrobat" tasks in task manager and then add (or update) the DWORD "bWinHttpNativeInProtectedMode" value to 1 at registry key path: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\DC\FeatureLockDown, then restart the computer. Per Adobe support: "This DWORD is used because there’s a difference in how Acrobat makes network calls. The Windows SDK provides two methods for this—WinINet and WinHTTP—and this adjustment ensures compatibility". Adobe says

We have recently purchased Acrobat DC Pro to replace the older version (8 I believe it was). The previous version of Acrobat that we used included LiveCycle Designer, which we used to build a number of forms. We find that the new version does not include LiveCycle Designer, and that our forms can't be edited using the expensive software that we've purchased for this purpose. To recreate the forms that we've built would be quite a feat. What currently available product allows the user to edit forms that were created in LiveCycle Designer?

I have uploaded a lot of files to Document Cloud throught the Share feature in Acrobat Pro. I can access the list of these files within my Document Cloud on the web, but can only delete them one at a time (check the box then  use the Delete button in the right-hand column). Selecting multiple files at once seems to remove the interface for Deleting, Renaming, Moving, etc. Is there a way to delete batches of these files at once? Seems I used to be able to do this...

Several times a week my macbook pro running Monterey will restart itself, full blackout and reboot. This used to happen only when Acrobat was open but now even happens when Acrobat is closed. Upon rebooting AdobeCrashReport is hogging 100-160% of CPU. Can anyone tell me what the hell is going on? What can I do to amend this?  I'm really fed up of these crashes, and the crash reports don't seem to have any useful information. Whilst I'm here auditing Adobe bugs, Premiere has a 15gb memory leak in my RAM, and hasn't been opened or used in days, and not since restarting

hi i was trying to edit a pdf and every time i edit the text it gives or write out difftrent font i asked the ai tool and it says the this font is supported what shall i do can i download the font from the internet 

I'm using the adobe-for-edge extension. When I open some PDF's in Edge, almost all of the browser window is a blank white area. Here's a screen shot of the issue:I've been unable to find any element that I can drag to increase the size of the controls and PDF content. This PDF is being sent to me via a link in an email. I can download the PDF using the Download option and open the resulting downloaded PDF file with no issues.It's just very puzzling why I can't locate any options that allow me to maximize the PDF display when the PDF is opened directly from the email link. 

Hallo liebe Community, habe seit ein paar Tagen das Problem, dass meine Adobeprodukte nach einer Lizenz-Nummer verlangen und nach Eingabe wird geschrieben dass zu viele Geräte registriert sind. Habe aber auf dem gleichen Rechner bereits 5 Jahre gearbeitet ohne Probleme. Btrifft- Abobe Acrobat XI Pro- Adobe Design und Web Premium CS6 Woran liegt das wie kann ich das lösen? Benötige die Programme nur gelegentlich und will daher keine neue Mietversion kaufen.  

I have been trying to request signatures using the app and web but I am receiving the same issue.  My company revoke my access before but they gave it back now, which might be the issue.  Is someone experiencing the same issue?

I've been using Acrobat Pro for years. I use it as a teacher for presentation purposes too. On both Mac and PC.   Now I've just noticed something which breaks my workflow badly, presentation-wise, on my new Win 10 Pro, HP zBook 15v laptop with a Swiss French keyboard layout. The shortcut "Ctrl+0", which has worked on both platforms since forever, normally zooms to fit the page both in windowed and fullscreen mode. But not on my laptop; it now increases the zoom level by a fixed increment, which is totally useless to me.   I desperately need this feature because I keep zooming in and out of documents for my courses, and the current state of affairs in the zooming business is "BROKEN". And my first course for the semester is tomorrow...   My version of Acrobat is 2017.011.30120.   I have a bad feeling that I'm stuck with this broken behavior, but any help or workaround will be appreciated.

In the latest Adobe Acrobat version, I cannot "add text" to parts of documents. When I choose the add text tool, it opens up the document for editing, but some parts of the document are inside of a text box. When they are in a text box, I cannot add any text in that area. HELP! I had to revert back to an older version of Adobe Acrobat in order to edit the text, but Adobe has a message that it will be removing that capability and I don't want to get caught unable to edit these documents.

Repaired Adobe, removed database engine, and reinstalled Office. Installed Dell Power Manager and set it to Ultra Performance mode to speed things up. Exacqvision was using more than 40% of CPU budget in the background; Microsoft Edge another 30%. Ended those processes. Enabled core isolation/memory protection, updated programs, disabled Edge adware, and transferred sticky notes. PC has pending operating system updates, the BIOS hasn't been updated since 2021, and system file checker (sfc) has a pending operation.  After Windows updates finished, he logged in and the Office+Adobe.  repair did not resolve the issue. sfc /scannow found corruption and repaired it. Christopher has had many issues
