Hello, acrobat Pro is freezing when I can put a visible signature, nothing can be done, only to end the program. It does it all over. What about it?

I have alot of PDF's to watermark and noticed they are easily removed.. Is there a way to permanently watermark a PDF?

Year 2024 - Installing both versions of Adobe Pro and Adobe Reader on the same machine Hello,We have multiple users working on a terminal servers A few have license for Adobe ProThe rest of the users need access to the 'regular' Adobe Reader that does not require a license. Tried installing Adobe Pro on the terminal server -it uninstalled and canceled out Adobe Reader. We need a way to keep both versions on the same machine Major problem with Adobe Pro is - It wouldn't let users use reading functionality without logging in with an email address that has a license attatched to it. It just force quits, leaving reading PDF files impossible for users without Adobe Pro license. How can we keep both versions? Or, is there a way to tell Adove Pro not to force quit while not in 'logged in' mode and keep reading functionality? Thank you!

Hi. Our users access Adobe Acrobat Standard on an RDS server, but one has asked if he can have the ability to compare documents. I believe that function is only available on Acrobat Pro, so just wondering if anyone knows if both versions can happily live alongside each other on the same RDS server? Many thanks in advance.

I have a client who is running Server 2019 Remote Desktop server and want to have both Reader and Pro installed on the same system. Adobe support have tried to assist with this but they have not been able to resolve so looking if anyone on here who has setup this way or some insight to why its not working. The process support instructed me to go through is to install Pro from: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/acrobat/kb/acrobat-dc-downloads.htmlThen install Reader following https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/install-reader-dc-windows.html If we do this, Reader will not install, it error with "Old/New Acrobat vesion alread installed."If we install in the reverse Reader then Pro, the Pro instyaller removes reader as part of the process. I have also tried the cleaner utilities to completely remove both Reader and Pro and tried again but no different. Any guidance would be appreciated.

Hi, Documents generated with google doc, then converted in a pdf format and approved via adobe sign (e-signature).Issue: the links of the table of content are no more working.The browser opens a new tab with an Error:404. I downloaded Adobe Acrobat on 12 August 2025 and i have been trying to edit and sign some pdf documents  sent to me via email.  I am unable to save or email completed documents. My free trial ends on 19th August 2025 and since I am unable to use it for the purpose required, I would like to unsubscribe as I am a retired pensioner. Kindly advise

Hello everyone, When I create a blank page pdf file, then when I add a text box, then when I type in the box a sentence, then when I type at the end a dot, the dot moves to the start of sentence. Hello! A couple of years ago I created PDF forms for a client who had forms which included multiple lines for text. The client wanted me to format fields for those lines so when the text reached the end of the row, it would flow to the next line. Back then, I found the script I needed in one of these Adobe forums and it worked beautifully, but now it doesn't seem to want to work. Has something changed in Adobe that would affect the script not working? Can anyone provide me with a solution? Thanks in advance!

Hello - I've encountered a weird issue where a pdf I made in Canva does not print when I try to print in Adobe Acrobat. It takes me to the printer settings but when I hit print, it makes me resave it and it says it's sending to printer but it never prints. I checked in the printer queue and it never shows up. However if I drag the pdf into the web browser - I can print it fine.  Is there a setting that needs to be adjusted or is this a weird bug? I know Canva is not ideal but the person I am sending this to does not know how to use adobe products and they will need to print these docs. I do not want them to encounter this issue. Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks.

The type in the Comments in the Comments pane got very small sometime in the past few days. I did nothing to make that happen, at least not intentionally. The type in the list of files on the home page and other things on the home page has not changed. Changing the font size in the Comment preferences doesn't affect the Comments pane. I would like to purchase Acrobat. There are many different versions that differ significantly in price. But the listing and description of the vesions on Adobe.com is very confusing. The following 2 features are important to me:Create fillable forms from Word files or scanned documentsExtracting and merging pagesAre these two features available in Acrobat Standard? (a cheaper subscription version than Pro) If not, then Acrobat Pro 2024 (3 years license) would be an alternative.Is Acrobat Pro 2024 (3 years) the same as Acrobat Classic (3 years)? Who can help me unravel this jungle of options?Thanks in advance!Ute

We are switching from pots lines to efax for incoming and outgoing faxes.  We're using the same MFP printers that had the pots lines, so I'm trying to set it up to automatically poll the mailbox we use to received e-faxes and automatically print them.  I've got everything working except the automatic print.  When the printer (which supports pdf's) opens the attached PDF and tries to print, it fails to match the PDF's page size (8.64 x 10.76) with the 8.5 x 11 paper in tray 1.  The only way I can get it to automatically print is to change the size of the paper in Tray 1 to be custom 8.64 x 10.76.  If it's set to a non-matching size, the print job errors until someone walks over to the printer and selects Tray 1.  Then it prints just fine.  Does anyone have a workaround for this?  We use Ricoh IM series printers.

I created a fillable form in Word, with checkboxes. For example, there are several rows that have 3 checkboxes (a Yes, a No, and a Maybe). When I go to "prepare form" in Adobe, it recognizes the checkboxes as radio boxes. Is there a way that I can have Adobe recognize them as checkboxes instead? I also tried editing the word doc and using Webdings font instead to create boxes (rather than have the checkboxes from the developer tool), but Adobe didn't recognize those boxes as anything (neither as checkboxes or radioboxes). I know that I can manually add checkboxes onto the PDF form, but I have tons of checkboxes on each page --it's very tedious and ends up looking messy because some are slighly misaligned.

I have checkboxes K1 add-up checkbox, K2 add-up checkbox...K20 add-up checkbox  I also have text fields formated for numbers which are K1, K2...K20.  Finally, I have text fields formated for numbers which are K1_, K2_...K20_. Numbers will be entered into K1, K2, etc.  Those numbers will copy into K1_, K2, etc.  So far, so good.  If I check the K1 add-up checkbox, I would like the number copied into K1_ to change to zero.  I am using the following custom calculation script in K1_: if (this.getField("K1 add-up checkbox").isBoxChecked(0)) {event.value = 0;} So far, this also works.  The problem is that if I check more than one checkbox, say K1 add-up checkbox and K2 add-up checkbox, the zero goes away in K2 add-up checkbox and it reverts to the number that is being copied from K2. Hopefully, I have explained this sufficiently for someone to help me with what is going.  I'm thinking it mus have something t

Hello All!I’ve developed a dynamic stamp in Acrobat that successfully generates a unique ID, prompts the user to "check boxes" aka. Textfields that are populated with an X if the respective value is input, and collects text input for fields, each via separate dialogs or prompts. However, I’m struggling to combine the text field prompts into a single multi-field dialog for a smoother user experience.First I wanted to work out only the text fields and when that works, the goal would be to also have thge "checkboxes" in the same dialog (not a must)Has anyone managed to implement this, or can offer advice? What works:1. Calculate an unique ID-number for each stamp.  A trusted function handles incrementing and saving a counter. The stamp script then reads this value each time the stamp is applied. (✓) 2.
