How do I get rid of the vertical side bar where 'comment' and 'fill and sign' are shown, so I don't have to click the arrow to hide, everytime I click on a new page of a pdf document?

Hi, I have multipage PDF with both portrait and landscape orientation pages, and little dimensions difference. So I use the "organize" tool to put them all in portrait mode; then I use the "define page zone" too resize them all to 214x301mm. Well, the landscape pages appears correctly in portrait, but the size is incorrect and when I try individually to modify, it's not working, the page remains landscape.I save my PDF, and open it in illustrator : actually all the landscape pages are still here, no rotation!please help!

I have acrobat installed on my computer all of a sudden it is saying that my seriel number is in use by the maximum number of computers. when i login in to the adobe account to deactivate computers it says that there are no active devices. what do i do?

I have a PDF document created by GPL Ghostscript 9.18 and when I use the convert feature to convert to Excel or Word I get an empty document, another PDF created by Microsoft XP works fine. Also if I try to Copy/ Capst from the Ghostscript PDF i get wierd characters while with the Microsoft PDF it works fine. Only work around I found was to print the PDF as a PDF file but then all the data gets bunched into a single celle when I convert to Excel. any suggestions? 

Hi everyone,Is there a way to keep the Tools pane minimized by default when opening PDF files in Adobe Acrobat (Reader or Pro)? Every time I open a new document, the right-hand Tools panel is fully expanded and takes up a large portion of the screen. I have to manually minimize it each time, which becomes frustrating when working with multiple documents.I've looked through the preferences but haven't found an option that controls this behavior. Ideally, I’d like Acrobat to remember my last layout or allow me to set the Tools pane to stay minimized unless I open it manually.Has anyone found a workaround or setting for this? Any registry edits, scripts, or plugin suggestions would also be appreciated.Thanks in advance!

I have had this issues a few times now. I filled in and saved a form and wanted to edit some info after, I couldn't. Why is the type text tool missing after I edited and saved the pdf?  This was before I edited the pdf which shows the tool After I edited and saved, it's missing I tried to look for it from "Find tools" and nothing.  I ended up having to fill in the form from downloading the new form again.  Why is this happening??    

Good morning, all. I have wrestled with this error for months. I have a macBook M1 Max running the new Sequoia 15, although this problem surfaced before I moved off Sonoma. So, I don't think it has anything to do with the operating system. (NOTE: I can say, however, that my Windows PC does not have the issue I am about to describe.) Anyway, when I go here ... ... and then try to click any of these ... I get this ... I have tried everything: the macBook "cleaner" tool, resetting Creative Cloud, uninstalling/reinstalling Creative Cloud, uninstalling/reinstalling Acrobat, and even wiping out my entire macBook and starting over from scratch. I also called Apple Support. They went through an extended call with me, tried a number of solutions—including an examination of all the privacy and security settings that are usually in play whenever non-Apple software tangles with an Apple device ... and none of it worked. They declared it an "Adobe issue." I h

I tried to set up a form with a submit button that would attach the PDF format of the form to the email. All tutorials are showing 4 options in the Submit Form Selections Screen whereas I get only three options to choose from. Here is the screenshot:I read somewhere that I need to enable Adobe Reader Extended Rights but you can do that AFTER you set up the SUBMIT button and you can't make any modifications after that. Can someone help me with this?

My business Adobe account grants me access to Acrobat Pro DC for editing PDFs. I can successfully view both my business and personal profiles when I log in on the Adobe website (account.adobe.com). However, when I launch the Acrobat Pro DC desktop application, it automatically signs into one of my profiles—I suspect my personal one—and I'm then unable to edit PDFs. Our IT department has been unable to fix this issue, and despite my laptop being listed as an activated device, I believe the problem lies with Adobe or our IT not sharing info with Adobe. When I try to edit using desktop application, I receive following error - "You do not have access to thse feature. Please contact your IT admin for more details"I have reinstalled adobe in my laptop, logged in multiple times, no luck. Any assistance you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

Why can I not add comments to a pdf? I have to make notes and marks on a project pdf. It allows me to select the tool, circle the object, and then disappears. There is a comment that does show. It seems like it's below the surface of the pdf? How do I bring the comments to the front of the page so I can see them?

Hi I have two documents that I need to merge, which isn't a problem. However, it's for a flip book. The second half needs to be in reverse and upside down. I can print the Word doc into PDF in reverse order, but not upside down. It's 5.25" x 8". When I flip it in Adobe there doesn't seem to be a save option, just print to another pdf. That changes the size and moves the margins to it doesn't match the top half of the file.  Help, please. ThanksNanci

  Hello, I'm receiving an error on a team member's computer that pops up after the program is opened and I try to navigate the toolbar in Adobe Acrobat. This error doesn't occur when I open the program as admin and only seems to happen when it's opened with their profile logged in. We use SSO in our environment. Here's some troubleshooting steps I've taken: Killing program and then re-open Restart computer Check for updates Make sure Adobe and CC are updatedUse both AcroCleaning Utility and CC Cleaning Utility and then reinstallUncheck various settings in the app preferencesCheck Security tab of shortcut/program for users that should not be there My thought is that the issue is somehow related to Adobe being in some kind of authentication loop or their version of Adobe being in "Old Acrobat." I can't select any of the options at the top toolbar. When I do, I get the above error message. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Hi there.At my workplace we are facing this problem in the last few weeks.Users with a Pro DC license/installation will typically have Adobe Reader installed as well.Users or admins can change the default program to Adobe Pro DC which works without any error - until they next log on, where it has reverted to Adobe Reader again.Is this happening for anyone else? What can I change to make it keep this setting or find out why it isn't (other than uninstalling Reader on 50+ PCs)?I have changed registry permissions to allow all applications and users to modify the default PDF program, but this doesn't seem to have any effect. I'm not sure what else may be reverting the setting.ThanksGlenn

 On pages 30, 31 of this pdf, any text box i add is showing up on the other page and vice versa, what is the fix? 

I have created a document in Adobe express, exported into Adobe Acrobat pro, and  created a form, so that fields can be completed by the end user.  I understand the principle of selecting a font that is widely available (doesn't seem to matter if I select Helvetica, arial or times roman) but no matter what size font I select (12, 14, 18 or auto) in preview, the font is unreadably small.  I know that changes are made, because I can change the font colour for example successfully. But I need the text to be bigger. 

I have a PDF and the full version of Acrobat, and I want to find out which font is used in a text. When I go to Edit PDF and select a text, it always displays Helvetica. But that's not it.

Hi. I am switching to Wondershare to use PDF since Acrobat can not handle files with architectural layouts. It lags and crashes. Do you find the same problem with PDFs that are bigger than the "average" document file?   Thank you
