I went into the Adobe PDF preferences and Copy Count is set to 1 Copy but everytime I print to a PDF, the dialog defaults to two copies. Anywhere else I should look to change the default to 1 Copy? 

When editing documents, I randomly encounter a bug on a few pages in which much of the text on the page(s) disappears. It's still there, and the Find function is still able to see it, but its completely invisible. Saving as brings back most of the invisible text, but not all. The text this affects is always added by the text box "Edit PDF" tab, rather than by that in the "Comment" tab. Has anyone encountered this before? What's causing it, and how do I fix it?

User converting word  file  to pdf by using Adobe PDF convertor. User sets levels to be only 1 and 2. PDF comes with more  than 1 and 2 levels. Moreover bookmarks are dublicated.

Hello,I would like to report a reproducible issue with Adobe Acrobat Reader (last version 2025.001.21184) on macOS 26.2 (Tahoe), using a Mac Mini M4. ProblemWhen using Fill & Sign → Add Signature → Image, Acrobat reports that the selected PNG image file is corrupted. This happens with: PNG files JPEG files Brand new screenshots created directly on macOS 26.2 Images converted with Preview Images converted with ImageMagick Images converted with XnConvert Images with sRGB IEC61966-2.1 profile Images with no embedded color profile All of them produce the same error: image corrupted. Important observations The exact same files work correctly on another Mac running macOS Sequoia with the same Acrobat Reader version. i'm having trouble with the PDF handler in Outlook and Windows Explorer. After reinstalling Adobe from 32-bit to 64-bit, the PDF handler works, but after a clean install of Adobe Acrobat 64-bit, the PDF handler doesn't work on my workstations. I have installed the digital certificate without a password. I had no problems with an older version of Adobe Acrobat and recent versions of Adobe Reader. However, the current version of Adobe Reader asks me to enter a PIN or password (which I do not have). What can I do?

Adobe recently announced that Photoshop, Lightroom, Adobe Express, Adobe Firefly, and Adobe Acrobat are now available to run on ARM, however I can't seem to find the download for Acrobat. Is the ARM version just included in the 64-bit installer? What mode is it running in? ARM64EC or fully native? In a pdf that’s been sent out for review (cloud), you previously could select some text, and a quick markup toolbar would pop up. In that toolbar you could select strikethrough. That is no longer available (first image), and I cannot seem to change the settings on the markup toolbar. I now have to select the text, scroll over to the markup toolbar on the side, click and hold on the highlight tool, and then select strikethrough (second image). Is there a way to add the strikethrough option back to the quick toolbar? 

Hello community, I have a problem with quality loss when saving PDF's: I have a scanned PDF (created with the Android app "Adobe Scan") in which I would like to redact certain passages. As you know, the PDF must be saved as a new file after blackening. Unfortunately, the file is automatically reduced in size when saved. As a result, my redacted documents are very often very blurred. The original files from the app, on the other hand, are very sharp.Is there a way to disable automatic file compression after redacting? I know that normally the compression can be controlled with a tick in the "Save As" dialog. Unfortunately, this checkmark does not exist when saving after redacting... Attached is a scanned, sharp original file, as well as the blackened but blurred processed version. Thanks in advance,best regards,Robert

Up until last week, when I did a complete computer reset and re-downloaded all my Adobe apps, I would open a PDF > Choose File > Export a PDF > Encapsulated PostScript.This worked perfectly every time.Now, after re-installing Acrobat, I’m receiving the same error: The document could not be saved. I feel like this is an easy issue?? but I'm not getting the Text box on page 12 (Next to the word Record) to add the check boxes.I have an attendance roster (Page 12) and want a count of all Check Boxes checked.I created a txt box at the top next to the word Record. I am aware that some code dose not like spaces. I thought it might be a syntaxes error. between “Check Box” and “CheckBox” so I adjusted the name of the boxes for the first 15 days in July to “CheckBox” . Hi, When I open adobe acrobat x pro (10.0.0) in win10 22H2, it show message as below adobe creative suite6Adobe Systems IncorporatedThis application cannot run because it poses security or performance issues on Windows.After close the message,  the acrobat app will crash, although I try open it with Windows 7 compatibility mode, but the condition is the same. I want to fill in a PDF using Fill & Sign and the textbox tool. It’s not a PDF that has preset fillable fields. I have the free version and in the past I was able to use these features but in this case I can’t even pop my signature on a document. What changed or what am I doing wrong? I am signed in too, and using it on a Macbook via installed application. Thank you in advance.

Hello Adobe Community,  Just reinstalled Adobe Reader (build 25.1.21111.0) on my MacBook Air (Tahoe 26.2). Unfortunately, when trying to enter files to sign a document, the document is greyed right after hitting “+” button. I cannot select any file and I’m bound to quit Adobe (by forcing the system).  Tried to reinstall but I always in the same place a for the record, I used to run the same version in the past and it worked fine!  Happy to hear your thoughts !  D

Hi. I have found a script online that will insert two blank pages after every two pages of a PDF. What I would like to do is insert a specific PDF file that is stored on my computer, instead of new blank pages. Is there a way to do this with Javascript in the Action Wizard? To be clear, I have a PDF file that is two pages. I want to insert these two pages after every two pages of a longer PDF. Thank you in advance!

For about a month now, PDF previews in the preview pane of Windows 11 Explorer haven’t been working. PNG and JPG files display fine. Even previews of AI, IDML, and similar files show up. I heard it might be due to Acrobat settings, so I enabled the option to allow previews/thumbnails there. I also reinstalled Acrobat. I’ve asked AI, but I still have no idea what’s going on. I don’t have any other PDF viewer installed, just the full version of Acrobat. What should I do? Is anyone else experiencing the same issue? (My drives are half-empty, cache is cleared, I have a Ryzen 9, 64 GB RAM, 4060 GPU… so it’s definitely not a hardware issue.) Could the problem be on Adobe's side?

Hello,I work with technical drawings, which I receive as PDFs from our 3D artist. To extract and edit paths in Illustrator, I usually convert these PDFs to EPS using Adobe Acrobat. This has been the most efficient method for me, especially since the files are multi-page and I often only need selected pages.However, since the recent Acrobat update, I’ve been encountering the following error when trying to save as EPS:"The document could not be saved. This file cannot be found."It's very frustrating, and although I’ve found a workaround—by first converting the PDF to JPG and then to EPS—this adds unnecessary time and steps to my workflow.Is there a way to resolve this issue so I can once again use the "Save As" command to export directly to EPS from Acrobat?Thank you for your help.Best regards,

I downloaded a set of slides when I used my Adobe Acrobat to open it, and the black text is showing up as white. In the screenshot below, the same file is opened with Google Chrome (left) and Adobe Acrobat (right).If I try to edit the text color, the text is set to black (but obviously, it is showing up as white.) If I try to set it to other colors (dark gray, green, red, etc.), the text shows up as those colors, but when I change back to black, it comes up as white again.Does anyone have any idea how to fix this? Other pdf files are showing up correctly, just this one.Much appreciated!

I have Adobe Acrobat DC Pro. The subscription is up to date in payments. Without warning now, everytime I open the program app, a message comes up offering me a Free Trial -- there is no Already a Subscriber/Log In link, and when I try to click the Sign In button on the main window, the whole thing disappears, making the program useless in that moment. What I wanted to do was add an image so I decided to open the actual account in a new browser tab and see if I could use the program online. The Edit function lists "edit text and images" but when I go in, there is absolutely no function indicated for images, only text.  

I installed adobe acrobat ( 25.001.21223) and adobe acrobat reader(25.001.20693) on my windows 11 intel dell laptop. I double click the icon, but nothing happened, neither of them start.I recall I can start the adobe acrobat one time when I just finish install it. but after i close the application and double click want to restart the app, nothing happen on my laptop.
