I need this answer broken down to a level a non-IT guy can do.     I am trying to complete a telework document for the Navy.  I am required to sign it.  When I go to e-sign the document it states: "The document could not be saved.  There was a problem reading the document (105)."    The file explorer was closed, I don't even know how to turn on the preview feature.  Other documents were JUST e-signed minutes before.  The customer support system for Adobe sucks, and if there was a competitor I would leave adobe's worthlessness in the dustbin of history, but alas I am stuck.  I need help with this now, as I can't work until this form is completed, and I can't complete this form due to this issue.

How do you keep a PDF editable after someone has signed it, to allow another person to add to the form and sign it via the editable sections. It appears to not be editable once a person has signed and saved the form.

Hi everyone.  I'm trying to create an editable PDF in Acrobat DC using the typeface Cooper Hewitt.  Unfortunately, I can't get the whole typeface family to show up, only one font which shows as ital.  Why wont the entire typeface family (bold, semibold, book, etc.) show up in my fonts in acrobat? Thanks 

Hey!I want to create a keyboard shortcut for "Combine Files into a Single PDF". But Acrobat does not allow OS X to use it's built-in keyboard shortcut engine. I turned on "Single key accelerators" but there is no shortcut for what I need. Is there really no way to have a keyboard shortcut for this? Is that a glitch in the Matrix? 🙂 Thank you

I am using Adobe Acrobat 2025 on a PC. I would like Acrobat to automatically close after I close the last PDF tab without it going to the Home Screen. It is annoying that I am forced to have to manually close the program. This extra step is unneccessary. I have searched the preferences but find no options to address this issue. In searching the past community  comments, it appears this has been an issue for many years. Is there any chance Adobe will address this?

I've seen this issue all over the internet when I've searched for an answer. And it looks like it has been around for years. The only solution I've seen is to close the window pane in Windows. But what about for Mac users?I just bought a new macbook pro. I had a 2011 macbook pro previously, with Acrobat Pro X. I backed up my computer in time machine, started up the new computer, and restored the old computer's data to the new one. Everything is the same and works fine except that I cannot save PDFs when I edit them. The only workaround I've found is to open a new folder, which  I can "save as" to the new location, but then I can't save future edits there unless I send them to yet another new folder. The error message is: "The file may be read-only, or another user may have it open. Please save the document with a different name or in a different folder."This is driving me crazy. Someone please help.

Hi,I hope you would assist me, I have performed same actions as suggested by one of the article "Add to trusted certificates" button is grayed out"  to verify it i click on singnature properties>Show Signer's Certificates>Trust  it still shows crossed mark. Actions performed was : navigated to "Edit>Preferences>Signatures>Identites & Trusted Certificate>More>Trusted Certificates>Edit Trust. Thank you!Regards,Rashmi K 

Hi, I am helping with a support ticket at my institution, and the client has used the auto function to prepare the form to print the text in the scrolling text fields. However, when the PDF prints, the font in these areas is too small to read.I cannot find a clear answer to fix the issue, so I am reaching out.How can they make sure the text isn't too small after using the auto function under Prepare Form?They are using Adobe Acrobat Pro through our institution's subscription to Creative Cloud. 

A form was created using Designer. When the form is being clicked on to open, from a publication, it opens weirdly, via the open in app. Other forms in our publications open up in Adobe without any additional steps. See attached screenshots to see how we have to open this form. We have adobe pro version 25 and this is saved with the reader extended PDF, enable more tools and fill-ins.   Would appreciate any assistance and guidance on how to get this form to open in Adobe without the edit in app method.Thank you!  

I keep Acrobat 2020 (Classic) on my desktop because at some point Acrobat removed the scroll bars, (which is how I navigated with my Wacom pen.) Now, I need the latest version (2024 or 2025), so that I can use the most up-to-date Accessiblity tools. But when I go to the Creative Cloud app to download Acrobat, it shows the Open button (instead of Install or Update). When I hit the open button, nothing happens, because it probably thinks I already have it downloaded - which I do, just the 2020 Classic version. I have even went to adobe.com/acrobat/ website to download, and it give me the choice of Free Trial or Buy Now, but I have the Creative Suite on an Enterprise account with my employer.  I just keep going in circles trying to get the latest version, but all my attempts are futile. Can someone help with this issue?

Al utilizar Acrobat en mi pc con windows (Edición Windows 11 Home, Versión 24H2, Versión del sistema operativo 26100.4349, Experiencia Paquete de experiencia de características de Windows 1000.26100.107.0)Aparece un mensaje con una barra de progreso, y en ese momento se cuelga el programa y se cierra.He desinstalado e instalado de nuevo pero el problema no se soluciona 

When i'm trying to add a comment through the left toolbar on giving feedback on a design we made, it spawns a big white screen covering the complete PDF view. On the right-down corner it says "cancel andmybalancenow com  send" (screenshot below is in Dutch language though). I am not able to add a text or anything. On top-right i'm able to remove the white screen pressing x. Anyone else having this issue? I'm on Acrobat version 25.1

Qual o problema da Adobe Acrobat pago mensal e nem uso todos os benefícios, ai vou assinar digital documentos vem dizer que o signatário é desconhecido seis devem estar de brincadeira, não tem o que fazer e ficam enchendo o saco do signatário dá vontade de entrar com ação judicial por dolo moral e financeiro ficam nos prejudicando durante o nosso trabalho e meus clientes reclamam e contratam outro prestador autônomo home office seis tem que parar com frescuras. Pago mensal 139 reais para ter photo shop e não me serviu, queria voltar a pagar 95 reais sem photo shop que não resolveu meu caso, mas achar um canal de atendimento aqui é impossivel, tem que achou no caso de daniel27.... é pra acabar com nosso tempo perdido com frescuras da Adobe Acrobat não reconhecer minhas assinaturas digitaiso e dizer que o signitário é desconhecido. 

Within the last several weeks Acrobat Pro will not list any PDFs opened from DropBox on my computer in the Recent files list or page. This is on all my machines. InDesign and Photoshop both list DropBox files in the Recent files list and page. I've given Acrobat permission for Full Disk Access as well. Any ideas? Anyone else experiencing this?

Ich verwende Acrobat 64bit in der aktuellen Version 2025.001 auf Windows 11 Pro (alle Updates sind installiert). Seit einiger Zeit (möglicherweise dem letzten Acrobat-Update) kann ich pdf-Dateien nach einer Änderung, etwa dem Einfügen eines Kommentars, nicht mehr speichern. Beim Versuch zu speichern ändert sich der Dateiname. Aus der pdf-Datei wird eine tmp-Datei mit einem kryptischen Namen. Ich kann nur noch „Speichern unter“ wählen und die Original-Datei überschreiben. Dafür muss ich aber jeweils den Speicherort öffnen, was einfach wahnsinnig lästig ist.Kann mir jemand helfen? Danke. I have Adobe Acrobat Pro DC Version 2021.20138. For any PDF document with a web hyperlink it takes 1-2 minutes to load the webpage--often freezing the document. I've tested this on another machine without my Adobe Acrobate Pro version and there is no problem. This issue started in the last week and I have changed no settings. Is there anything I can do to fix this problem.

Whenever I export an Excel file with interal links in it, the links won't work in de PDF.The external links do work.I tried everything that I could find on the Internet about this topic, but it still doesn't work.It's a problem that occured since using Excel 365. Before I used Excel 2010, and that worked flawless.So what has changed? And how can I make it work?

Using the CTRL+C and CTRL+V shortcut keys do not work in Acrobat Pro... how does a simple functionality like this stop working in a massive corporations software that costs an absurd amount of money?As the title states, this is a custom form created in Illustrator, with multiple pages, used as a service report for my business. So there is a lot of text formatting and copy/pasting for proper arrangement. Right clicking a selection and choosing copy and paste works, but the shortcut keys do not work... sometimes they do? (cannot reliably recreate when it does/does not work).  I've watched the clipboard and the data will appear in the clipboard for a split second and then dissapper after using the standard keybound shortcuts.  Cut (CTRL+X) works in removing the data every time, but the data is then dispersed into nothingness, and pasting into notepad, word, any other field in any other software gives, nothing.I've played with the security settings, this is not the solution, anot

I recently reinstalled Adobe Acrobat Pro DC when I got a new computer. Now, when I use the "Combine files in Acrobat..." function when selecting multiple PDF files, a new instance of Adobe Acrobat starts as though I clicked on the desktop shortcut, but no documents are combined or even present in the Adobe window. How do I fix this issue?

 So I have been searching around for this answer, but everyone seems shocked. I am on an iPad Pro, 3rd gen, and everytime I open a pdf in Acrobat Reader mobile app, it makes the colors like you would see on a film negative. (picture 2)   I have scoured this site looking for others having this issue, but have not found any.Light mode setting does not affect the adobe issue. All I want is to scroll through my PDFs with them in their proper colorization.

I am looking for away to combine multiple PDFs and put a blank page between them. Is that possible? Basically the documents need to be printed and put into binders with tabs in between them. If they do not have the blank pages, it would mean that you might end up with one document having an odd number of pages and the next document being on the back side of it. I do not know how to code but the requirements would be this: When merging multiple PDFs together:If a PDF is an even number of pages, do not insert a blank pageIf a PDf is an odd number of pages, insert a blank page Is anyone able to offer a script that could do that? Or any kind of work around?

Hi all,   I was hoping somebody could tell me - how do you switch from a window view to a tabbed view in Acrobat Pro DC? Currently, Acrobat opens all new PDFs in an entirely separate window; I would like Acrobat to only be one window, but with several tabs - one for each PDF.   I've searched pretty extensively, and have found solutions that seem as if they'd work for other versions - but when following the same instructions, I end up in a menu with different selection options. I'll provide a screen-shot and link to the instructions I've found (they're all pretty similar).   I've checked each of the categories, and can't seem to find the option anywhere. I've also looked through the Adobe Acrobat DC Help PDF, and can't seem to find the answer. How can I convert an outlook email with an attachment to a pdf? I want one pdf with the email and attachment. Not a portfolio

i am facing trouble saving pdf files after highlighting text in it.Either it takes long to save it or doesnt save it at all.It doesnt show the location where you want to save the file.please give me appropiate solution to save my files as all my efforts to highlight long texts went in vain due to this problem.
