I create a PDF in Canva and it will not print in Acrobat or Acrobat Reader. Prints fine in Preview app. On a Mac with OS 15.6 Sequoia. I hit print and the print driver spools for about 10 seconds and then the queued file disappears as it it printed. The printer has a quick chirp and that's it. All other PDFs print fine. I tried saving as a new PDF file and same result. Have done a clean uninstall and reinstall of Acrobat. Any ideas? Thanks
I suppose updates for Adobe Acrobat Pro thru AUSST can be deployed using RUM tool on client side. if I recall correctly, it did work in our environment last year, but now it just says no updates found, even though new updates are downloaded and available for Acrobat Pro on our AUSST server. Also, if this does not work, how can we exclude the Acrobat updates to be downloaded everytime we run the update script with AdobeUpdateServerSetupTool.exe ? Thanks!
One of our users is having issues with the redacting tool in Adobe Acrobat. They are able to select the tool but once click on some text to redact, Adobe will stop responding and then crash. We have already re-installed Adobe Acrobat. I found a workaround where if we sign the user out and back into Adobe Acrobat, the redaction tool works fine and Adobe does not crash. However, Adobe is closed and re-opened, the issue will return until we perform the mentioned workaround. We also have a Windows remote server environment and the same issue occurs there. I am trying to convert files to pdf using the Adobe Acrobat Pro DC feature, after the conversion is completed, when I open the resulted pdf file, I only see a blank document, the content of the original documents does not appear for the converted pdf. I tried reinstalling and repairing the product but no luck, can someone help me out with this issue. Would be great if you can share any registry or file information which specifically targets this feature? P.S. I have the Adobe Acrobat Pro DC 25.00.20531 on my Windows 10 device.
My computer crashed and had to reboot. When I rebooted, I opened Adobe Acrobat only to get the message that the 'root folder' could not be located. The file I was working on seems to be completely lost. I went to: C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Acrobat\DC but the AutoSave folder is empty. Any suggestions where my file might be or am I out of luck? My autosave preference is every 5 minutes. Thank you
When I add a line to a pdf, it automatically creates a comment. How can I fix that so that I can add lines without associated comments?
I'm runnign across a bug (or configuration issue) with Arcobat and I see there is no way to submit a bug report via the Help menu even though that what Adobe says is possible. Basically in a WIndows based machine if I try to close a document via clicking the "X" in the upper right corner of the icons (not full window) and there are edits the pop-up about "Do you want to save changes" appears but one cannot click on any of the three buttons (yes/no/cancel). Tabbing to the window to make "active" does not worlk nor does anythign else except killing the Acrobat processes. Looks like someone grabbed focus incorrectly in this case and has blocked all events. Screenshot below. Anyone come across this and have a solution? Anyone knwo how to subit a bug report or does Adobe not care anymore? Seems liek the quality of Acrobat fully pad versions has gone done a lot - but those sales and new feature popups work great to reduce your productivity. Thanks in advanceMarc

When creating an interactive form, Is there a way to change the Image Field properties from upload to "drag and drop"? Right now the user can only upload an image by clicking on the image form icon.
I was able to print my comments with my PDF by changing the page size and placing the comments in the white space. I would like to also print the connecting lines. At the moment I am only able to see them with the option checked and by mousing over the comments. Is there a way I can have them all appear and print them? Thanks!

Hey, I have a very similar problem as this user (https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/draw-tools-missing-in-cloud-based-adobe-pdf-for-markup/td-p/14689849) but when using the Acrobat Pro desktop app (hence the new thread -- feel free to merge if appropriate). All the drawing tools are available when commenting on a locally saved PDF, but for PDFs that I shared using the built in Adobe cloud, only the freehand drawing tool is available. Obviously, the browser extensions (that were the solution in the thread linked above) don't do anything for the desktop app. Is there another fix? I am using Adobe Acrobat Pro Continuous Release Version 2024.003.20112 (64-bit). Thanks in advance!
we have just purchased a Surface Pro 11 , with a snapdragon CPU . We realize that the email button in acrobat pro is not working , as it have no repsonse when we try to send the PDF / link via outlook . Does anyone has a solution for it ?
I'm running into a problem regarding the Table of Contents (TOC) in Adobe Acrobat and document accessibility. When I open the Tag Tree in Adobe and navigate to the Table of Contents, the entire TOC is missing a tag for each line. For document accessibility and a linked Table of Contents, the structure needs to be <TOC> tag, <TOCI> tag, <Reference> tag, <Link> tag, and finally Link - OBJR. When I open the table of contents the <Link> tag is missing on each line, which means I have to go to each line of the Table of Contents, manually add a tag and then nest the Link-OBJR underneath the <Link> tag. The image below shows the first line which I manually corrected and the remaining lines with the missing <Link> tag. Is there anyway to speed up this process? Is there a method to select each line of the TOC and add a new <Link> tag for each line? I process documents with extensive tables of contents and correcting each line of the table of
Hi GuysI am currently working with Acrobat Reader DC for my studies.I'd love to have the possibility to make comments outside of the pdf and to print them as well.So basicly I'd need to small down the pdf a little bit, so there will be an edge on one or 2 sides and than make the usual comments (not commentboxes, cause they are not gonna print out).Is this possible in Acrobat Reader DC? Or is it possible in the full version? I could think of buying the students and teacher version (study at the university of zurich)Thanks in AdvanceMarco
I have created a form, which is nearly complete. The only thing I have left, that I'm not sure how to do is this: If the selection in the [Program] dropdown box is "Biology",then the field [Address] should be "303 McKinley Hall",field [Phone] should be "(800) 238-4732", andfield [Email] should be "Biology@itsu.edu". I can't seem to get the code right to automatically populate the Address, Phone, and Email fields based on the option chosen in [Program]. I'm probably over looking something very simple.
I have various different fillable pdf forms that need to be completed and electronically signed (real electronic signature) by users. The users that are going to be doing this are not tech savvy, so the process needs to be very simple – just present the form to the users to type in the fields and hit submit. Subsequently, the completed and signed forms then need to be saved to cloud based storage such as a Box or OneDrive folder. I tried creating a web app to render the pdf to the user’s browser, however, the submit button on the pdf doesn’t work in a browser. According to other posts I've read it looks like this is still an issue and is not going to be resolved. Does anyone know of an alternative solution? Thank you very kindly in advance.

How can I retain a digital signature and still save a combined file as a binder and not a portfolio? Is this possible? Cause I need the file in the binder format but I keep being prompted to save as portfolio to retain the signature and that's not the format I desire. I'd appreciate a response.
