Bonjour à tous,   A l'utilisation des fonctionnalités de Acrobat XI , un message indique que Acrobat DC est plus récent.   Y a t'il un moyen de désactiver ce contrôle afin d'utiliser Acrobat XI ?   J'ai besoin des 2 produits sur le poste (XI est utilisé que pour la modification des PDF)   Merci pour votre aide   ST. 

I genreate a PDF from a word document using the PDF Printer and a standard Adobe printing profile (High Quality Print). Now I need to generate the same file, but with bookmarks and links, so I'm using the Word Add-in instead (from the Word ribbon).A specific font is generating gibberish. In the past, because I'm using language specific fonts (for Hindi, Arabic and Hebrew) I added the Windows User font folder to the distiller so that Adobe will look at both places (Windows/Fonts & "User"/AppData/Local/Microsoft/Fonts).This time it's not working. I see the font listed in the font list when I edit the generated PDF file, however, applying the font has no impact, the gibberish remains. This is a Hebrew font called David. If I use Arial Unicode or Times, the Hebrew script comes out fine, but it looks different and my client prefers the David font. Why can't Adobe handle that font in one case (Word Add-in), but it can handle it fine in the other case (PDF Printer)?

I open and close PDFs all day every day. I always have to go in and Enable Scrolling. I have it set to remember last time, but that doesn't work either. The default page view setting Single Page Continuous does nothing. This amounts to a considerable time sink every day.

Hey, ich habe bei mir auf der Arbeit das Problem, dass manche Dokumente nicht abspeicherbar sind. Man bekommen beim Ausfüllen der Felder immer den Hinweis, dass ich keine ausgefüllte Kopie speichern kann, sondern das Formular ausdrucken muss. Ich denke es liegt daran, dass wir oft bei der Erstellung der Fourmulare XfA Formularfelder benutzten. Ich habe schon öfters gelesen, dass dadurch die PDFs nicht mehr abspeicherbar werden. Ist das der Grund und wenn ja kann man irgendwie darum herum arbeiten und die Datei speicherbar machen? Vielen Dank im Voraus!

Hello. In an attempt to fix the "combine files" context menu bug introduced by a recent update, I have tried to install the 20643 optional update that supposedly resolves the problem. I'm using the 32bit version. The installer fails with "error 1335. The cabinet file PCW_CAB_ACR  is corrupt." Please provide a working installer that has been tested and which will resolve the combine files bug. Thanks, Colin.

I'm using Acrobat Pro DC on Windows 11 Pro. I cannot add text through Edit OR Fill and Sign.When I try to add text through Edit, my curosr does not change. It's the nomal black filled arrow instead of the text cursor with a letter. Photo Attached.When I try to add text through fill and sign, some of the buttoms are missing at the top of the ribbon. Photo Attached.When I click to add text through fill and sign, it leaves "Type text here" in gray text but when I type, nothing comes up. The button for adding text in this mode is missing. Photo Attached.I've unisntalled and reinstalled. I've cleared my local preferences and everything I don't know what else I can do. One Chromium based browsers, right click menu text is too long. How can I make it shorter? Just Adobe Acrobat, or Acrobat is enough instead of this long text.

I'm having trouble with documents printed from Word from a current Office365 installation, whose base template uses the Aptos theme. Various online sources say the correction is to de-select the "Rely on System Fonts Only" option in the print driver, but that only partially fixes the issue, I'm finding individual letters missing from the produced PDF (particularly, the letter 'f' when not in a 'fi' or a 'ff' ligature).

I'm using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, running Windows 10. I've taken multiple documents and combined those documents into one document. I need to "extract" and "delete" certain pages. I've been working through this document for several days and have been utilizing this function. Today, I keep reeiving "One or more pages are in use and could not be deleted" when I try. I've tried to just delete the pages. The same error pops up. I've saved a new copy of the document to my desktop (which sometimes helps the problem) and I'm still receivng the error. Looking back through the Adobe community, it appears this is an issue since 2012. I just need to finish this document. I was using the redact feature throughout this document as well. 

I use to have preview handler to view all file types, but that changed 5 months ago. I could had bough a lot of laptops with the amount of time I have invested in past 4 months to fix the problem, but no solution anywhere on the net.I could not get acrobat previews to work ago in explorer, so I downloaded PowerToys that is suppose to over ride any other preview handler. It worked after installation, just like acrobat did, but like acrobat, after 6 hours the preview stops functioning. I have a 1000 pdf files I also refer to so it's vital i can quickly search and read pdf's in explorer. I now need to install WPS to have pdf previews, but I reinstalled WPS as I need it all day every day to use. I use to have pdf previews before even installing acrobat. Surely there must be a way to have acrobat preview handler over ride WPS, until WPS problem is fixed in their update. I assume it's WPS but I do not know. G'day, I'm trying use the mailto function for a button that should rename the subject line to the name of the PDF and also take an email address that is written previously in the document as the recipient of the email. This is what I'm working with;var docName = this.documentFileName;var mailtoUrl = "mailto:[Email address]?body=[custom body]&subject="+ encodeURIComponent(docName); this.submitForm({ cURL: mailtoUrl, cSubmitAs: "PDF" }); and  getURL("mailto:" + getField("07 Work Email").value Both of the bits of script work seperately but I have no idea to combine them. 

Hi everyone I've been given the task of making some 40 PDFs accesible, and autotagging makes some of the table borders disappear in some PDFs.  They are pretty simple PDFs, with a headline and usually some tables. As per instructions, I've been doing the minimum accessibility requirements for them - 1) Run the accessibility check 2) Auto-tag 3) Run the accessibility check again 4) Fix primary language and title unless any other issues emerge.The thin line option in PDF is already checked and I do not see anything in the Z-contents tab to change the order (in case some elements are disappearing under other elements depending on the order), because these table borders are not even recognised as a table. They are just there in the background, while the headers are marked as simple paragraphs.  As a workaround I am now skipping the autotag option, opening the Reading Order tab, marking everything, then running the accessibility check and fixing other issues.Ju

Hello,How do I change the language of the signature request message that a person receives from me. I want the requests, the invitations, to be in English. Adobe sends everything in the language of my locale, Finnish in this case. I have changed all settings I can find into English with no effect. Any hints on this would be appriciated. Thanks!

Hello Members,I have created a PDF DYNAMIC STAMP, consisting of 4 text fields and 4 checkboxes. When combining PDF files into one, I am getting a dialog box that says:  "You are currently using free Acrobat Reader. You also have Adobe Acrobat installed on your machine, which includes advanced tools.  Click OK to launch Adobe Acrobat to use this tool" This issue started in the last few days.  Not aware of any updates that were downloaded or any change in the systems settings,which still show to use Adobe Acrobat DC as the default when opening PDF files.

Hi community, Up until yesterday I had no issues using Adobe Acrobat for e-signing, however, now when I open any PDF that has been through LEAP (legal software program) I recieve either an "unsupported file" or "protected file" message, or it prompts me to upload another PDF for e-signing, and I am unable to request signatures on the open PDF.  Has anybody else experienced this issue? Please let me know how you have fixed it. 

Hi, I read the post about "Image Alt text fails to display on mouse hover"It sounds like the automated hover-over behavior that we are witnessing for the alt text for some figure tags, shouldn't even be ocurruing based on the Adobe representative's (Tariq Ahmad) on May 12, 2025.But then why do we see it happening at all?Tariq's response never explained why it happens. Unfortunately, because this behavior does happen, and does so automatically, it creates inconsistency in the final product. An inconsistency that end-users may question, especially if those end users are paying for a finished product. Can you provide any more reasons as to why alt text will automatically display in a mouse hover-over winodow for some figure tags and not others given that everything about the accessibility tagging being the same, between the different graphics where we see the hover over for some figure tags and not others?There are no tooltips in this PDF, yet it displays a hoverover of the

Recently Adobe updated my Acrobat to 10.1.2.45. Now I'm unable to past images from clipboard into a pdf document. For example, using another windows program I might copy an image to the Windows clipboard, open up a pdf document, and click on the Edit menu expecting to be able to select Paste and paste the image from the windows clipboard onto a page in the PDF document. However, Paste is faded out in the Edit menu and is unselectable. I was doing this about 10 times a day and now that feature is unavailable to me. CTL-V also does not work.

I have 3 drop down boxes, for which the client should choose either yes or no, but the fields defaults to the same option once the last box is selected. I want the 3 options to be independant from each other. What should i change or do? Thanks 

I was using Adobe Acrobat Pro this weekend to edit some scanned files and the memory leaks were so bad that I had to restart the program many times. HOW IS THIS REAL?!?!?this is hands down the worst program made! imagine all this, and you cant just make the text box grey!i REALLY have to spend half the day learning 3 different programs to so the simplest most basic thing imaginable. im soory to go off,... but HOW IS THIS A THING! how can this company not just make the ONE thing they do usable.am i just missing something? WHAT IS HAPPENING???

I was taking notes on a PDF doc on Adobe Acrobat. Went to File, Save as, PDF/X, then Adobe displayed an error. There were multiple errors, but once I clicked okay and went back to my notes, all my edits were erased. Is there a way to get my edits back, or are they just gone because Adobe didn't save them? 

Yesterday I bought Creative Cloud. Why didn't I get an updated of Adobe Acrobat? The app still says Adobe Acrobat Standard 2020 and it looks the same as before I made the purchase. What's going on? Your help and assistance would be very valuable.I'm using Windows 11, I tried updating the software and it says there were no updates available. It's version2020.005.30774.Thank you, Laurel

Using the Outlook Plug Ins, I of course can covert emails to PDFs, along with their attachements. When I go to bate stamp the converted emails, Adobe does not stamp the attachments nor is the attachment available in the "add file" menu for bates stamping. Is there a user-friendly way to do this?  Especially when you're doing 10s if not 100s of emails at a time. Thank you
