Right now, I have to select the text to highlight it, then the toolbar pops us so I choose 'comment' THEN I have to post the comment for it to take.  I should just be able to insert the edit and hit "return" instead of having to mouse over to the comment and POST IT. Even with just the insert text cursor, I still have to POST it for the edit to be made.  I have hundreds of edits to 30-page PDFs, and this is not an efficient way to edit. I can't find any tips online. Help!

Hello all, I've got a persistent issue on both of a user's Win 10 & 11 machines. With the Adobe add-in enabled, the user prints their first job, but must exit/re-enter the program in order to print again to her default printer. The 'Print' button is greyed out.   The two workarounds is that she can remain in the program, switch to a different printer from the drop down (then switch back to their default). Or, if I disable the Add-in from loading. She can print one job after another without issue. This occurs on fully patched Win 10/11 and Adobe Acrobat. No issue with other O365 products. Any thoughts on what sort of shenannigans are occuring? Thanks in Advance.

Aber es funktioniert nicht..Was kann ich. machen das ich mein Programm wider zum laufen bringe?( Nach Aussage eines Mtarbeiters, dürfte ich das Programm auf 2 Rechnern nutzen. Hello, I’m experiencing an issue with Adobe Acrobat when trying to merge and save PDF files — even when the files are relatively small (under 80 pages and below 2GB in size). After selecting Save As and choosing the destination folder, the file doesn't appear to save correctly. The filename at the top of Acrobat doesn’t update, and I can’t find the file in the selected directory. I’ve already tested disabling the “Show online storage when saving files” setting, but the issue persists. I’m unsure how to proceed from here, so any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Good morning, and excuse my poor English (I use DeepL) I have created two interactive PDF pages, i.e., with button fields and 3D images: the first page is obtained via InDesign (20.1x64) with interactive PDF export option, while the second, which contains 3D images, is obtained from Solidwroks' Composer 2021 via its PDF export options. I merge them via Acrobat Pro latest version, and so far no problem, everything works as I want (although some adjustment/correction is needed). The problem arises when I submit the document for review and approval by my boss: if the document is correct he affixes his signature which is nothing but an image file... but after that the PDF is no longer interactive!!!How can I get around this inconvenience?If it is not possible to prevent the PDF from becoming “passive” after this, what other method can I use so that my boss can somehow affix his initials or signature to the document without it losing its interactive characteristics?Tanx.

Hello everyone. I need to sanitize a big file, 26k pages. I found out that my pc cannot handle it, so I tried to divide into small files of 10 pages and using guided action to sanitize every document in the new folder.The problem is this:every time Adobe sanitizes a new document it gives me a choice to save the file somewhere.Is there a way to fully automize this thing???I cannot sanitize heavier documents otherwise for some reason Adobe crashes. Help would be appreciated a lot.

I know that other people have been having this problem, and that there are some solutions that have worked for others, but nothing has worked for me so I thought I'd put it back out there to the community. I am attempting to run Acrobat DC on a 16" M1 Max Macbook Pro w/ 32GB of RAM running Monteray 12.2.1. I have never successfully managed to get it up and running, as every time I run the installation process and attempt to open it, it immediately crashes and delivers the crash log I've pasted at the bottom of this window.  I am also repeatedly getting a notification "Failed to start CoreSync. Could not create -/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Coresync." I'm not sure if these issues are related.  I have tried the solutions posted by others to no success. These have included:  - Removed Creative Cloud and run the CC Cleaner- Removed Acrobat and done a manual removal of all Adobe files on my computer- Re-installed Acrobat Pro DC from this link: h

Forced to do a complete reset. Had to reinstall Acrobat.  Acrobat will not oppen any pdf files, including Adobe's.  System Win 11.  I have reviewed other postings.  No solution found yet.  Can someone make a suggestion what I need to do other than install someone eles's PDF program.?

Today, the same thing happened as it did last week. I went to open a document I was working on today (a book) and yesterday, and both disappeared as I was reopening them. I didn't do anything different. And just like last week, I was saving everything multiple times. When I asked for assistance last week, someone from their IT tried to get full access to everything on my laptop to fix the problem. I wouldn't allow this and asked them to walk me through it step by step. 15 minutes passed, and the person was still hassling me to give access through constant prompting. Right at the end, when he wrote that the matter needed to be escalated, my book appeared again. It just came from nowhere, just as it disappeared. Something is wrong with Adobe, or someone in their company is hacking my work. I have a 10 page pdf that I want to convert to a jpg but keep it as one document.  It always separates the document into 10 separate jpg documents. Is there a way around this?  I only got this program so I could do this. Thanks....

Ich nutze seit kurzem den Acrobat Pro 2020 und habe folgendes Problem:Wenn ich eine Datei speichern möchte, wähle ich "speichern unter", suche dann den entsprechenden Ordner und speichere die Datei. Möchte ich dann weitere Dateien im gleichen Ordner speichern, wurde mir in einer Vorversion der vorherige Speicherort (Ordner) angeboten, jetzt sehe ich immer nur den Ort, von dem aus die Datei geöffnet wurde und ich muss mich jedes mal wieder zum Zielordner durchklicken. Kann ich diese Einstellung ändern und wenn ja, wie?(Ich hoffe, ich habe es verständlich erklärt, bisher habe ich nirgendwo auch nur den kleinsten Hinweis auf eine mögliche Lösung gefunden...). Vielen Dank schon mal!

 I am currently experiencing an issue with a toolbar that occasionally shows up when i use file explorer on Windows 11. most often i see this toolbar when i log in after locking the computer or it sits long enough to log out by itself. the toolbar is non-functional and clicking the different buttons does nothing. the only thing i can do is right click on it which pulls up the menu shown above. when opening a new file explorer window, the new window does not have the toolbar. please help me know how to remove this completely. 

For years I had a version of Adobe Acrobat 9.0 (that I paid for) that I ran on my Windows machine and worked pretty well to modify PDF documents.  Well the geniuses at Adobe got me the other day.  Somehow I managed to agree to an update and now the program is GONE and I no longer have the ability to edit PDF documents. Every time I try I am pay-walled.  Totally sucks.  And on top of that, I now have worthless McAfee on the machine.  Thanks Adobe! I am going to try to reinstall it but if I can't, there is no way this Darth Vadar of a company will ever get one cent out of me forever.   Edit: Found the installation disk and am back up and running with my old-school stand-alone desktop version that doesn't require a subscription.  Ha ha.

After updating MacOS to Sequoia 15.4.1, I'm having some issues with Adobe Acrobat (as it appears many others are as well). I'm using the Acrobat continuous release version.  My main issue is that the "Share" function in Acrobat is no longer available. When I click on the "Share" button, I get this empty pop-up window:An error message also pops up indicating that there is a problem. I've seen many mentions of these types of errors online, but haven't yet been able to resolve the issue on my end. I've restarted Acrobat, checked for and installed the most recent Acrobat updates. Still not working.... Has anyone found a resolution for this yet?

A colleague recently alerted me to an issue she'd had with two separate PDFs, which were created by different people. A few people had added comments and my colleague was trying to delete some of the comments, but whenever she deleted a comment it would momentarily disappear and then pop right back up. Because it was happening on two different PDFs, she assumed it was an issue with her Acrobat settings so she tried it on another computer, but had the same problem. I then also tried to delete comments from one of the PDFs and the same thing happened to me. However, there are other PDFs from which I can delete the comments fine, so I think it must be something to do with the specific files. We spoke to one of the creators of these PDFs and she said that she had done nothing different in terms of set-up from previous PDFs, on which we haven't had this problem. Any ideas as to what's going on and how we can fix it? We're both using the up-to-date version of Acrobat DC.

In Adobe XI after I place a stamp on a document I want to add a text box with a reference number, then move that text box inside the stamp.  Currently when I do this the text goes behind the stamp.  Even if I go into edit photos and text and select bring to front for that text box.  Please help.

My pdf files will not print.  When I choose print, although my Epson printer is the default, the Adobe printer dialog box always opens up with "Microsoft Print to PDF".  When I change to my default printer, it doesnʻt do anything and changes back to print to pdf.  All other types of documents print on my printer, just not the saved pdfʻs.  I tried printing a pdf while on the browser, Microsoft edge, and the pdfʻs print!I am using a paid monthly version of Adobe

I have a form that has data entry field called SW (setup as required, number to 1 decimal point) then results field (SW6, view, number to 1 decimal point) simplified field notation 45/SW, the form does the calculation but i get the error "the value entered does not match the format of the fieldSW field will only have possible entry of 1 thru 8In the same form I have another data entry field AW (setup as required, number to 1 decimal point), then another results field (AW6) which does a simplified field notation AW*45, which does not get the error.I've tried various things like removing required, or view, does not make a difference.  Not sure what to do.  Why does it work in one spot and not the other?

I am having trouble combining files in Acrobat. When attempting to combine files, Acrobat freezes up and says not responding. I have tried the steps found when using a google search such as checking for updates and repairing the installation. I have tried to reinstall Adobe 2020 and it still freezes everytime I try to merge files.
