Hi, When I try to set up a calculation field in Acrobat, it will not let me do anything. Fields can be selected, but when you click "OK" and the dialogue boxes close, no fields are retained as selected. The same happens when trying to fill in simple or full Javascript. When you click "OK," the field returns to being empty, and in these cases, the "simplified field notation" option is unselected and switched to "value is not calculated." I have tried multiple PDFs exported from InDesign as both Interactive and Print PDFs. I also made a PDF directly in Acrobat as a test. All failed. Is this a known bug? Is anyone else having this? I saw one other post from a few weeks ago, but the solution suggested was to use Windows troubleshooter to maximise compatibility (I tried it, but it doesn't work). Windows 11. 24H2 26100.3775Acrobat Pro 2025.001.20435

We are having an issue with multiple users on multiple machines accross our organisation.As we are unable to determine what triggers this issue nor able to reproduce, i come for advice.  Observations :- Computer freezes/crashes. Windows eventlog shows resource exhaustion events. In these events Acrobat.exe uses 58 to 60 gb of memory. This amount makes sense as devices have 500gb harddrives and 16gb of ram.- Only happens for Acrobat standard users, not reader users. - This happens for multiple users on multiple machines. One user had the issue, got a freshly installed machine, had the issue again, got a freshly installed machine again, had the issue still.- Versions on which this occurs : 2024.005.20392 , 2024.005.20399- Users are on hp hardware (elitebook 650 g9 & g10). Windows 11 enterprise 22h2 version 22621.4751- Users report this happening when they are working on VPN. Happens 20-30 minutes after system boot.- Hard reboot seems to solve this issue. I use checkmarks to go through a document to varify both text and numbers. After my first page the checkmarks reapear on the next. If i continue and make checkmarks and so on it becomes more on the next. If i then go back up the checkmarks from later pages comes up on the early ones. Why is this happening?

Hello.I import  as always  equations  from mathtype to word  and  convert to pdf  with  word's ''save as''  option.I print it  via  acrobat reader  settings .with my canon pixma mp 640(i also  change  the canon settings).i  always  choose  to math  type the bold  but always in the printable file the ink was  ''normal''.The  last months i  notice that  is very thick.I do not now if  is  a  printer issue  or math type  issue or   acrobat  reader  issue  or all  of them.I attach   8  screenshots(and please tell me  if  you  have  access  to these).Are  screenshots  with  how  it lookes the  font  at pdf  and  ''after'' printing  with :1) original factory  settings(times new roman)  and 2) choosing   cambria  math Also&

       I have a genuine adobe acrobat XI pro license, I want to re-install the software but it shows error message as above (the serial number you entered has been revoked. This product cannot be license.."I chat with the adobe agent but she said the product is no longer supported. so she advised me to post in the adobe forum/communityplease help me. thanks 

During the testing of the latest version, it was found that when adding the cutting marks, they should have been at the cutting position, but instead, the marks appeared in the bleed area. This is a serious bug, and we hope it can be fixed in the next version.

 My license hasn't expired but can not use in add-in of word.Is there any way i can drag a adobe signature field to any location of word and dowload this file to test for power apps.

When I convert from PDF to excel, the formatting turns out like the statements but all the text is in symbols of varying fonts.  Any tips or did I just waste $23.99?

Hi there, Due to a brand change on tables we are now seeing that all the table with rounded corers are coming through to Acrobat as figure tags. Has anyone experienced this and if so was there a simple fix? All advice will be greatly appreciated, Steve

If anyone from Adobe is reading this... for the love of God, can you please give the ability to change bounding boxes??? Your (very expensive) program is not smart enough to arbitrarily "group related text". Seems every single document I need to edit, the bounding boxes encompass more than they should and make editing *impossible* and INFURIATING. Text inside the boxes doubles (same text overlapping itself), when I try to edit one word it changes everything else in the box (changes spacing and formatting), etc. If I can change the bounding box to encompass less then I can at least try to edit and or fix/correct the one word or sentance without having all of the other text get jacked up.  Seriously...this is a BIG issue. Please either give the ability to change the bounding boxes or at minimum make some kind of a work around to force the program to "re-group" the text it feels is related so you can try to force it to bound the correct text.  The biggest point of

On my Form, I have a dropdown with three items in the list, (Option1, Option2, and Option3) that I want to affect two text boxes, Text1 and Text2.  Option2 in the dropdown has an Export Value of 200.00, Option3 has an Export Value of 350.00 Option1 is the default selection of the dropdown, and with Option1 I want:Text1 to be visible and be a regular text field that the user can edit themself, andText2 to be hidden and have a value of 0.00 If the user selects Option2, I want:Text1 to be hidden and have a value of 0.00, andText2 to become visible and show the Export Value of Option2 (200.00) If the user selects Option3, I want:Text1 to be hidden and have a value of 0.00, andText2 to become visible and show the Export Value of Option3 (350.00) I don't know anything about script writing, I usually just copy-paste scripts that others have posted online, but I haven't found anything yet that meets these requirements.  Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you!

As the title says. I hate this thing, but specially I hate this implementation of ramming it down the user's throat. Let me know how to turn if off completely. I have no use for it and want to see any notification, bubble or suggestion go forever. I review graphic design work in full screen all day long and this AI stuff is a hindrance for me.

Printing from Acrobat pro - double sided printing - prints even pages upside down and backwards. Text and pictures. All documents - If printing from any other non adobe program printing the same pdf it will print fine. Using official HP drivers and it pulls up the same dialog box from other applications and checked all settings they are the same but Acrobat is broken. Works fine single sided printing but need double sided.Updated Acrobat pro to newest version same issue.  Tried "print as image" option - still breaks it up and flips and reverses the text and image into chunks.  Other threads about the same issue mention uninstalling and reinstalling the 32 bit version. Thats not a real answer an neither is print single sided.

I have a document that I've bookmarked, but I also need to convert it to OCR in Adobe.  How do I do this? when I upload the bookmarked document to a filing service, that service automatically converts the document to text searchable and removes the bookmarking. 

I need to use the WDI report from the forms on the TDA website and draw a pro graph on it or inset a pic on top of graph on page 3 I would like to be able to do whole report add an invoice and send it to my customers with out having to print and scan can you advise me on any of this will adobe help at all or should I cancel it before trial is up

I'm using Adobe Acrobat on my Mac. I tried to print from the Acrobat reader, but nothing happened. I did not receive any error message. When opening the printer dialog manually, I can see it "connected to printer" and then "waiting for the jobs to be completed." However, the printing task just disappeared after that, and nothing was printed. I've tried the following:1. Delete all the setting files and re-open the app.2. Disable the protected mode3. Remove the app - Restart the computer - Reinstall the app.4. I've started having an issue with the Acrobat com plug-in causing Outlook to freeze and then crash.  It is happening everytime I click on the "change conversion settings". After it crashes and I reopen Outlook I get a message saying the com add in has been disabled and asks me if I want to enable it again.  I say yes, but it does not turn it back on.  Instead I  have to go to Adobe and say "repair instalation" which notifies me that the add in has been disabled and asks me if I want to re-enable it.  I say yes and then the add it shows back up in Outlook.  However, as soon as I try and change the conversion settings it crashes again and I have to start all over!   I've tried "repairing" my installation and then completely uninstalling and reinstalling Adobe DC via Creative Cloud and I am still having the issue.  I really need to get this working as I need the conversion function to work so I can do my job!  Help! I have A

I've been editing several different files in Illustrator, saving over the original PDF files, but then the previous versions keep opening in Acrobat. In my files, it shows the updated file on the preview but when I open it on Adobe Acrobat, it's opening the previous version. No matter how many edits and saves I do, it just opens the original file.The only way the changes save is if I save the file under a new name every time I make a change. I have lost so much work as I didn't realise this was happening, and it is frustrating having to change the file name every single time I edit a file. I can see that several other users have had this issue, spanning over at least 4 years, but cannot find a solution anywhere! This has only started happening to me in the past couple of days. Illustrator and Acrobat and my OS are all up-to-date. Please can anyone help?? 

My work laptop recently updated to Windows 11 and ever since then, my Adobe DC Pro seems to have lost its mind. I pay for the version that provides constant updates, so I don't believe that to be the issue and I have not made any changes to my preferences/settings. Since the update to Win 11, when I try to do "Save As Other" < Reduced File Size or Optimized PDF, my files are actually larger in size. One page should not be 890 KB when it has no graphics and very limited words. I even did a uninstall/reinstall. No joy. I constantly get Conversion Warnings but they do not specific what the issue is or how to resolve it. If I was that Adobe savvy, I'd be working for them. I have also noticed that where I used to be able to overwrite a file when reducing the size, I no longer can. It saves it as a temp file and I have to do the process all over again. I have read stuff in the forums but cannot get a simple answer to help me, I cannot get anyone to speak to me or share my s

Hallo zusammen,mein alter Rechner auf dem XI installiert war fährt nicht mehr hoch. Habe die Festplatte spiegeln lassen und auf einem neuen Laptop installiert. Jetzt meldet XI das die Seriennummer bereits verwendet wird und ich innerhalb von 28 Tagen den anderen Rechner deaktivieren soll. Das geht natürlich nicht, da er defekt ist. Klicke ich auf Aktivierung wiederholen komme ich immer wieder zum Ausgangsfenster zurück. Da es sich um eine Kaufversion handelt, habe ich auch nicht die Möglichkeit über das Adobe Konto irgendetwas zu deaktivieren.Hat vielleicht wer eine Lösungsidee?Viele GrüßeRobert
