Hi! I have a two-page fillable PDF, 1st page is the quote, 2nd page is the finished work order. When the user fills in the 1st page, I need the duplicate fields on the 2nd page to autofill but I need that autofilled text on the 2nd page to be editable and if edited it needs to leave the text on the 1st page intact. I know that I can name the duplicate fields the same so that FIELD01 on the 2nd page will autofill when FIELD01 on the 1st page is filled in (and vice versa) but when the text in either of the two fields is changed, it changes in both. What would I need to do to accomplish this? Would it require specific javascript or is there a way to manage this from the Properties? I hope that all makes sense. Thank you so much!! 🙂

Hello, I am using Adobe Acrobat Pro Version 2025.001.20432 on a MacBook Pro with macOS Sequoia Version 15.3.2 and have had the problem for about 2 weeks that some PDF files are not displayed correctly. Only empty tables appear. It looks to me like the content of forms is not being displayed.

I recently encountered an issue in Acrobat Pro where some fonts or text become invisible after opening or editing a PDF. Has anyone else faced this problem? What could be the possible causes, and are there any reliable solutions to fix this? Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

Hello,I have a problem with Acrobat Pro DC.After starting Acrobat, whenever I move the window to a new location, the window bar and Acrobat menu bar disappear as soon as I move the mouse back into the application area of the Acrobat window. I can restore the menu byclicking F9 (twice: the first click restores the window bar, and the second click brings up the menu). When I move the mouse out of the window (after restoring the bars) and back in again, the menu will disappear again as soon as I move into the window and then over the the top window bar (but only when I move the cusrsor into the Acrobat window from the side or bottom of the window, not when I move in from the top. It's quite bizar). It very annoying as this happens each time you want to move the window, because you end up having to reset the menu each time.This behavior only manifests itself when the Acrobat menu is visible. Help! Adobe Acrobat Won't Open Any PDFsI'm experiencing a sudden issue with Adobe Acrobat. Overnight, it stopped opening any PDFs, and I keep getting the error:"Something went wrong – A running instance of Acrobat has caused an error."I've already tried:Ending all Acrobat-related processes in Task ManagerRestarting my computerUninstalling and reinstalling multiple timesNothing has worked. （The issue appeared suddenly overnight, along with some network problems. At the same time, I couldn't access Google or YouTube. In creating a fillable form on Adobe, I am unable to add a field to have someone digitally sign. The fields I am adding are not a normal textbox. The ones I have tried using that say "add a signature field" only allow the person to type normal text into the box. After watching youtube videos, they have a button on their edditing window that says "add a digital signature".  I do not have that button available to me. I will upload a screen shot of my options within Adobe. What do I need to do from here?

I cant open a plain pdf doc on my macbook. I can see the doc on my phone and through a browzer. I have deleted and re downloaded the adobe app and still I cant see it. the doc opens but most of the text is missing.The doc is not corrupted.Please help about to pull hair out. This is what my 26 page doc of text looks like. thanks for any HELP

Moin,ich besitze adobe acrobat 2020 für win und wollte zu mac wechseln. da dies nicht geht, habe ich eine weitere version für den mac erworben. diese installiert und auch 3-4 tage nutzen können. jetzt bekomme ich die meldung meine testphase sei abgelaufen ich möge erneut kaufen. in meinem konto ist die serienummer eindeutig hinterlegt. alle tips bei fehlerhafter anmeldung seitens faq verändern gar nichts. ich weiß nicht wie ich die software zu laufen bekommen soll. da mich der chattservice schon bei dem versuch die systemplattform zu wechsel quer durch die instanzen geschupst hat, würde ich mich über eine praktikable lösung freuen.  

Hi all,For my work I make a catalog and I put this online for our clients to use. Sometimes there is an update so I replace the newest version with the same name. The pdf can be read in the acrobat extention (if installed) Now all the clients are instructed to refresh (command R or control R) so they allways have the latest version. But in the extention from acrobat in Chrome it won't refresh. So even if there is a complete different pdf with the same name it will show the old version. Big problem. In our case it means they are shown old prices etc. If you remove the acrobat extention it works like a charm. But this means that I have to instruct everyone to remove the acrobat extention. Does anybody have experienced the same problem?

Hi folks!I'm got a few hundred PDF forms that I need to replace the first and last name of a retired co worker to mine. I'm using Adobe Acrobat Standard. I've tried using edit - advanced search - search folder for keyword - then find and replace However this gives me an error saying that it cannot be done because it's an XFA form.  Does anyone know of any way I can do this? Perhaps some sort of script I can copy/paste into notepad or if there is another feature I can take advantage of in Acrobat DC? Thank you kindly for your time, Syl

I have the paid version of the product.  In the attached document, why can I not fill out on the computer?  I tried to create a form but this did not help.

When I have made changes in our documentation I make a pdf with all changes marked in red (I make the changes in FrameMaker). As an extra thing, I open the pdf and use the text tool to write a short summary on page 1. Why don't I do that in FM? Because all the red text I can easily search and replace with black, but it's easy to forget to remove the text on page 1.So, I open the pdf, use the text tool and write. For the last couple of months there has been a problem with saving the file after that (I have done it this way for at least 15 years!). I want to write over the existing file, so I just press Save. But after a couple of seconds Acrobat tells me that it can't save to that file name and that I have to choose another file name or another place to save it. OK, I could live with that, but now my file has a gibberish name (ends with .tmp) and I have to be really careful when I re-name it to the correct file name, as ours are really similar to each other.Why does this happen? Hello everyone, I've noticed a strange change in the behavior of PDFs when I share them via sharepoint or google. The browsers open the files in application windows, which has not been a problem so far. For a short time, however, the buttons no longer work. Anyone have any ideas or noticed this problem too? Windows 11 Pro (24H2 26100.3476)Adobe Acrobat 25.1To make sure it wasn't just happening with specific documents, I created a new test Word document and new test PDF document.I then tested on a different Windows 11 system, same versions of software and OS...and it is happening there as well.I then tried an Excel document...same thing.It happens whether it is on my local machine or over the network from the server.I'm not finding this exact issue when searching. hello there, I bet there is a simple solution to this but I just can't figure it out and have not found it in the forumall checkboxes in my pdf form check unbidden when clicking on one- I copy pasted a row of checkboxes to make aligning easier, checkboxes have an individual number each, so same field names are not the issue. (I need multiple checkboxes with the possibility to check all the ones applying.No frills, don't need to hide anything, no 'uncheck x if y is checked'...Read something about export value in the forum but cannot find any such thing in the properties, please advise!

I've had a paid Adobe subscription for almost ten years.  It feels like things I was able to do are now behind a pay wall and I'm looking for alternates to Acrobat for tasks like reorganizing pages, converting spreadsheets in PDF to excel, etc.  Thank you.

I am getting a huge "paragraph" sized cursor when i open a new pdf...how do i reduce this to a standard cursor size?

Is there anything in Adobe that could help me capture a PDF version of blog posts (scrollable with images)?  Looking to save my blog off a blogsite.  I'm willing to do it post by post.  

In the latest release of Acrobat, I cannot send by email.  They took that link away and replaced it supposedly with Share.  But I don't want to upload to Adobe Cloud and send a link to my clients.  I want to send a copy of the actual PDF by email.  How do I do that now in the latest release??

Installing Acrobat Pro DC 2015.006.30527.898 on replacement computer licencing message unable to activate too many computers. Options to deactivate on old computer or enter different key. Sure I have the old computer with Acrobat 2015, but there is NO option to deactivate. Yes I am aware older version had (I have done so in the past), but 2015 does not have that option. Repeat > 2015 does NOT have the option to deactivate. Can Adobe support reset the counter?? Or does uninstall deactivate??
