Hi experts, i was working on this form and ran into issues i cannot figure out whats wrong, and i would like another opinion on it, is there a way to minimize the lag when spawning pages?, i have tried the validate tab, but it doesn't seem to make a noticible difference. Also on P2 my document function doCal(); works on all other pages but gives an error on P2, and i dont see any errors. I attached the PDF below thanks

I switched from PC to mac a few months back with a new mac book pro. Ever since, i have not been able to highlight on pdf's which I do a lot. And its getting really annoying. I can't find any articles or discussions that pertain to my issue - which is that it simply doesn't hightlight. I select the text, and it will be boxed like its highlighted, but nothing happens. Can't change colors, just nothing happens. What am I missing here? This is what i run into all the time.

I'm in acrobat pro and getting this when I run preflight there are no options, then I get an error: unable to copy the user specific settings -- then program crashes. I've uninstalled and reinstalled acrobat. I'm on windows 11 - latest update. Any ideas? Thanks 

An co-worker has a problem trying to redact single lines of texts on a confidential document. The redaction function keeps blacking out all text boxes in the document, which is not what he wants. Not even redacting via "Find text and redact" is able to detect the text he needs to redact. He tests it on any other file, and the redaction function works fine. It's only one one type of PDF file that it's not working. My question to Adobe is how to resolve this issue. 

I have the subtotal adding to the next row's Amount field to get a new Subtotal. But the future subtotal fields add the blank amount, and i want them to be blank until i add a nother Amount field number.  

    How do you save this as a permanent setting so that you can scroll quickly as opposed to the slow scrolling which appears to be the default setting?  I am using Acrobay Pro 9.5.5.Every time I select it under View - Page Display it resets when I open a new pdf.

I've been using the edit text option in Acrobat DC for many years, and although it could sometimes be unpredictable, in general it worked ok. Lately though, edit text seems to have gone crazy. When I add a new block of text it defaults to right align justification regardless of what I set before hand and, if I add a character like an exclamation mark at the end of a sentence, it moves it to the beginning of the text. I've tried it with different fonts and get the same problems so it isn't font specific. Anyone else had this problem and found a solution? 

Trying to use Fill and Sign in Adobe Acrobat Pro and keep getting the error message, "The operation failed because Adobe Acrobat encountered an unknown error."  I unistalled, reinstalled and updated the software.

I am creating a form for a design company; there are several radio buttons that are required for submission. I want to create a button that when clicked, shows nothing if all required radio buttons are selected. If required radio buttons have not been selected, I want a pop up stating "Please select all required radio buttons" to appear. I have searched forums for days and nothing seems to be working properly.

 Hello, I have an unusual issue. Our training team uses MS Word to create job aids for our staff. They set an inline image in Word, typically a screenshot of a UI component, and add a border to the screenshot. This is so that the image is more distinct from the page background for sighted users. They properly alt-tag this image and correctly PDF the document from Word. However, Acrobat adds (rectangle) to the end of the alt-tags for each image. It does not matter if they use the fixup "mark all non-structure elements as artifact." It doesn't matter if they artifact the rectangle border in the content panel, either. Every image where they have added a border has (rectangle) automatically added to the alt-text. Thus, users hear "[image description] rectangle" and because this is confusing, our training team is manually having to edit each alt tag to remove (rectangle). Is there a fix for this? I suggested doing the image prep work and adding a

I’m working on a large project with two interactive documents, both created and made interactive in InDesign. They need to be combined into a single PDF for display on one iPad at a trade show.When I try to merge them in Acrobat, I get the following message:"Any form fields that have the same name in the merged documents are now merged into one field. I made a simple stamp with two words and everything is good except that it's vertical instead of horizontal. I don't want to rotate the stamp every time I place it, so how do I change the stamp itself?

So I suscribed to the service of AI Asisstant for Acrobat Reader, and it does not work as it should. Unfortunately I have been wasting hours with the support team trying to figure out why on Earth does my desktop version of the software throws the error "This feature currently only supports files with less than 200 pages", when the product description in https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/prerequisites.html, updated on February 2025, clearly states that it can handle files with up to 600 pages with a size of less than 100 MB in either nglish, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, or Japanese. My files follow all the requirements, I tried uninstalling, reinstalling, signing in and out, using the "clean up" application, support has supposedly "made changes" to my account, tried the Acrobat Reader Pro version and much more and the problem is still the same. Hello, This update was automaticlly applied yesterday, and all of a sudden when i edit a PDF and move the text from it's original place it vanishes behind some invisible layer, this has never ever happend before. If i for example, change the font, or BOLD and back then it pops back when i put the moved text back in it's original place it just comes back again, like i said it started when this update was applied, and has never done this before. I added a file for reference, thank you

I've been using the drawing tools to mark up a PDF, including the text hightlight, lines, rectangles, and ovals.  They were working just fine but suddenly new rectangles and ovals remain invisible after drawing them.  I can click in the area where they were placed and an outline box appears to let me edit their settings but they still remain invisible.  Changing the properties including thickness, colour, fill, etc, none will change this behaviour. The existing rectangles and ovals are still visible but not new ones.  I've tried on other documents and cannot create new ovals or rectangles.  Lines, arrows and other annotation tools seem to be still working.  I tried rebooting my pc and also the "Repair Installation" and still not fixed.Using Reader DC version 2019.010.20069

Hi, I've been editing a PDF in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC (Windows 10) by adding comments and markup. When I finished and went to save it, I received an error message: "The document could not be saved. There was a problem reading this document (14)." Ctrl+i gives the detail "Expected a dict object." I've tried searching online for a solution, but it seems they all involve finding another way to open or copy the document; the focus is on making it viewable, not savable. That's not the problem I'm having. I need to know how to save this file without closing it and losing all the comments and markup I've spent hours adding. Can anyone help? Thank you!

Hello,I have been sent a contract and turns out my Account name was from when I was a child, so my first name and last name are wrong on the field in the document,I have updated this, and the document will not update even though it is still an active document for signature. I need this to auto-populate to the correct name, without going back to the company 

The only solution I can find is uninstall/reinstall.  Have done that.  Still get error 140000.  Vulnerabilities in password is a serious thing.  I would definitely like to keep up to date with patches.  No help available on this so far.

I have a license for Adobe Acrobat Standard X but no media (this is a new Dell computer).  I've looked all over the site and I get directed to Adobe Acrobat Pro X to download. I tried downloading Pro X and using my license but that failed since it's only a license for Acrobat Standard.If someone could please direct me to the location for Acrobat Standard 10 download I would greatly appreciate it.Thanks!

I have Acrobat DC installed as my default PDF software.  I previously used Foxit Phantom, which is still installed on my desktop computer running Windows 10 Pro, but is not the default PDF software and is not running.  In many instances, PDF files will not open in Acrobat DC, but when I then try to open them with Foxit, I have no problem.
