When opening a document, Acrobat defaults to Fit Width. Inside a document, if I change the zoom on say, page 1 to Fit Visible, then go to another page and come back, the first page shifts back to Fit Width. Basically, every time I turn a page, I have to change the zoom setting.I went to Preferences and set the default to Fit Visible. This had no effect on this or other documents.I went to Properties for the document and set the Open property to Fit Visible, saved the document, and opened it again. It defaulted back to Fit Width.This is new -- it didn't used to work like this, It used to function as expected; setting Properties would stick, and changing zoom on individual pages would stick.Please fix this bug.I am using 2018.011.20038 on MacOS 10.12.6.

I am on OS X El Capitan and am trying to print to a HP Photosmart 5510 and keep getting the error message "Unable to convert PostScript file" ... what is the fix???

Hallo, ich habe folgendes in letzter Zeit feststellt:Ein Kollege hat auf seinen Mac die aktuelle Windows Office Version installiert und Adobe Acrobat. Diese installiert im Pfad ~/Library/Group Containers/UBF8T346G9.Office/User Content.localized/Startup.localized eine Systemerweiterungen (SaveAsAdobePDF.ppam). Diese Installation von den Erweiterungen führt dazu, dass Word und Excel Laufzeitfehler bekommen. Mein Hot-Fix ist es, den Ordner für den AutoStart umzubenennen. Dennoch habe ich das Problem, dass sich die Erweiterung sich wieder installiert hat, und der Laufzeitfehler ist wieder da. Gerne möchte ich fragen, ob jemand dieses Problem kennt oder wie ich die Installation von Erweiterung bei Adobe unterdrücken kann? Ich würde mich freuen, wenn jemand mir helfen könnte. Mit freundlichen GrüßenPatrice

In Acrobat Pro DC, the "Add Digital Signature" tool missing in "Prepare Form" toolbar.I had to use the "Create Custom Tool"  -> open the "Prepare Form" dropdown -> select  the "Add Digital Signature" tool and add it as a new custom tool.Anyone else have this problem?Is there something I missed?

Hi guys. I give you with Adobe chat support. Ridiculous and not helpful. if someone can help me please would be great. i subscribed to acrobat pro. However my signatures and initials are not synced across devices. It's only showing up on the device I sign which is iPad. Not showing up on iPhone and Mac. The save to online profile was ticked. Used to work before but I unsubscribed for a while and just re sub and it isn't working. please help. thanks swadeep

Unable to request E-signature for the last month.- Desktop version has no menu item to request signature- Web version has "request e-signature" but when I click on it it shows a red banner "E-signing services are temporarily unavailable. Please try again later." 

When in inDesign, a file with a coloured background frame, I export to a Acrobat pro (interactive), the coloured background does not show in Acrobat pro. But when I send it a recieving they see the coloured background in the file. Wat is wrong? 

I keep getting access is denied when trying to save in the pdf/x. I do the preflight - no errors but can't quite get it to continue. I'm just stuck. Not my forte, for sure.

So I have the following question: I work on a project that is eventuelly going to a print company for printing. They want me to have specific settings for my PDF (for example CMYK colors, PDF/X-1a,...). Now, one sais they want a protrusion of 3mm. So the end format is A4 and they basically want A4 + protrusion of 3mm. Since I am a Newbie and design my Layout with Word (please dont judge me, but it is not that professional) I simply added 6mm in height and length, thinking the 3 mm would thus be ok. Now the printing company wrote that it shows them 216 * 303 (those are the said 6mm extra) and that they want, as I said, A4 + 3mm? How can I do this in Acrobat Pro? 

I just spent 6 hours writing information onto some pdfs, 15 different files. Toward the end of it, I left and came back. When I did, I chose to rename the files through the Finder app to follow a numbered system. The PDFs were still open, unsaved, and unbacked up due to my Free Account. By renaming the files, they were overwritten with the unedited version of the pdf template. The files are unrecoverable via recent files due to the name change and overwrite causing them to give me the error "the file you are trying to open is no longer available and cannot be opened." I don't have any up to date system backups for today that features these files. Is there any way to revert them or am I out of luck. Any help would be very appreciated as I'm not sure I have enough time to remake them. I am on Macbook. 

I have a fillable form that I have made. I filled it out and used the "save as" function to save my form.  One of these fillable boxes needs a correction to what I have previously typed. When I click in the field, it appears to let me change it. However, when I tab to the next field, it reverts back to the original text. All other fields will allow me to make changes. When I click in this field, it shows me what I changed it to. Any advice would be great on how to fix this. 

I know you can set the default initial view for any document after that document is open, and you can set default page views (e.g., one page, two page) for all documents, but how do you set the Show Cover Page in Two Page View the default initial view for all documents?

This is a problem I've been working on and everything I search online is either old, no one responded, or the solution doesn't work.  I created an Adobe profile for this Community hoping maybe someone here can help, I did search the community here but didn't find a fix. Problem: I can't combine multiple Microsoft Word files into one PDF document.Examples & Explanation: Someone I work with has several Word documents that they want to combine and convert into a single PDF.  I've done this for years and I was showing them how with Adobe Acrobat DC.  On their Surface PC I selected all the files right clicked and selected "Combine Files in Acrobat".  It opens Acrobat's window showing the files with the "Yellow !" on each file with a message at the bottom that says basically that there is a problem with the files or the file type is not supported not allowing the Combine option.   I went into one of the Word Documents and I can use the Adobe Plugin to c

Hello, How can I improve the clarity and darkness of scanned PDF documents when printing them, such as lengthy reports?

I'm using Windows 10 - most of my adobe files have a filebox icon on them and I cannot open the files. See attached image. Some of the files are fine. I have been trying to resolve this for over a year. Any suggestions?Thank you for any help!

My issue: I created a PDF form and I tested and tried it on the computer and other computers and it works fine.  I open the same form on a cell phone and when i click a particular box it prefills information that I do not know where it comes from, I can not find the info on the box it relates too and I cant make it appear anywhere but the cell phone.  What am i missing?

I've created a form with multiple drop down lists. I have selected Auto Size for the font size.  It works great while I am working in Adobe - the text is sized to fit within the cell.  However, when I open the file as a PDF (like my client would receive it) the auto size doesn't work and the client selection is too large to fit in the cell.  Am I doing something incorrect to make it work on the PDF?

Hi Would like to ask, I tried using the other solution https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/empty-fields-notification-script-on-a-pdf-form/m-p/10010427 and https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/empty-fields-notification-script-on-a-pdf-form/m-p/10010427 but it seems only the first "Approximate1" text field are being recognized. on my document, what did i do wrong? Also, is there a better way around instead of using checkbox as trigger for checking the text field blanks?Thanks in advanced.

I got a new PC and  downloaded Adobe. When I went Print Production-Preflight there is no data of profiles. I need to flattened documents daily. I have tried reinstalling. It works on my laptop but I need it accessible on my PC. Help!

I have read the available information for if/then statements, and it seems they are all regarding calculations.. I am here to see if there is a way to do "if this checkbox is selected, then allow this text field to be filled out" or even "if this text field has text entered, then allow this text field to be filled out"..

I'm pulling my hair out. I've done many of these forms and I've never had this problem. I'm attaching screenshots. My fields are numbered and listed in the correct order. When I tab in "Prepare a Form" it tabs correctly. When I send the form to another email and complete it on my own, they tab incorrectly (though consistently). I disabled "Automatically adjust tab order when modifying fields" as a troubleshooting step and nothing changed. I've tried tabbing by structure and row. No changes. I haven't tried manually sorting because they're already in the correct order. How do I fix this? I've even deleted and recreated the DOB field and it still doesn't function correctly. 

Hello, I am updating a form field to be able to calculate the product of one form field by another form field, however one of the fields a statis field and the other can be editted. When I try this code in the custom calculation section, it will only caluculate the first item of 10, but nothing afterwards, and any changes are not updated accordingly. I am at my wit's end and have tried all I can think of with no results. I put in validation instead of calculation and tried altering the code a few times to no avail.
