For days, I’ve been getting this popup every time I try to use the web version of Acrobat (Adobe Acrobat Home). I’ve logged out, cleared the cache, nothing seems to work. I’m not trying to use any particular feature. It’s every single time I go to the website.

My Acrobat Pro must've just updated, and I am no longer able to choose to open documents in seperate windows.  This option appears to have disappeared from the preferences.  Does anyone know how this can be switched back on?  I cannot stand having to view docs in tabs within the same window.  the version is 2023.001.20143 for MAC.

Hello folks, Does anyone know why Adobe Acrobat Reader is so *incredibly* slow & keeps hanging please?I keep getting the 'not responding' message; have to close it down & try again.Documents load *really* slowly, if at all!I have a fast PC with 16GB of memory, so that shouldn't be the problem... Any ideas on speeding it up please?Maybe Adobe you coudl do so?!

This post is to consolidate the information from dozens of other posts about how to revert to the previous user interface in Acrobat.   It consolidates the information users need to know.   When Acrobat is updated to version 2023, it replaces the traditional user interface that's been in place for the past 20+ years with what Adobe is calling the "Modern Viewer," which has some severe technical problems (missing utilities) and a complete relocation of familiar tools, menus, and quick access tool bars.   In Windows Acrobat: Locate the "hamburger menu" in the upper left corner (3 horizontal bars where the old "File" menu used to be). Select Disable New Acrobat.  I just want to get rid of the bubble at the bottom of my screen for the AI assitance. Can this be turned off so that I don't have to hide it each session? I hate that it's there and in the way. I understand that I can go to preferences and turn off the generative AI stuff. I tried that. it doesnt work, as it's already unchecked. 

I need to create internal link from a Table of Contents to specific locations in a 299 page pdf. I know who to create links to a page, but some pages are going to need 2 or 3 links to different sections of each page. Is this possible? david

Hello, I notate pdf files on my Ipad Pro with an Apple Pencil. My Ipad was recently reset and though I backed up everything, I lost those files. I can restore the document but the notations are gone.Can they be recovered?

I'm still surprised that Acrobat DC still doesn't function correctly when Internet Explorer's Enhanced Protected Mode is enabled. The reason why it isn't working is because the installer doesn't provide AcroPDF64.dll and AcroPDFImpl64.dll, which is missing from C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Acrobat\ActiveX.However, if I install Adobe Reader DC, the installer provides these missing DLLs. I don't want to have both Acrobat and Reader installed just to make this to work with IE's EPM. Will this actually get fixed? Why does Adobe Reader DC ships these missing DLLs while Acrobat DC doesn't?

I recently purchased 3 Computers from Dell with Acrobat Pro 2024 3-year Term licenses. I redeemed the software with the redemption code at each computer, and I used my acrobat account (same account to all these 3 computers) to set/install them up.  I found that only one license was registered in my adobe account. I tried to repeat the App redemption in the computer but it informed me the code was redeemed already. I supposed I have total 3 licenses for 3 computers, and now I only have one license for 3 computers. I tried to contact Adobe technical support and they hopelessly did not provide solution. Please can anyone advise how can I get back the remaining 2 licenses.

Good afternoon, There seems to be an issue after the latest update (25.001.20577) with Adobe Acrobat not responding. Sometimes Acrobat will freeze and we'll need to use task manager to close it out. Most of the time there's a long delay and Acrobat displays "Not responding" but will eventually load. We've attempted to resolve this by running a repair. When this didn't work, we tried using Adobe Cleaner tools to remove Adobe and reinstalled from Creative Cloud. I've seen posts from past years with a similar issue. I've tried everything suggested in those posts including turning off online storage options, disabling protected view, and disabling new acrobat. Please advise. This is greatly affecting many of our user's workflows.

I am an IT support technician, and I have two users who are both experiencing this issue. Acrobat seems to refuse to launch, but further inspection shows that there are actually Acrobat processes launching, in the background, and they must all be closed (end task) before the app will actually launch. The user I am working with is on version 2026.001.21691 (windows 11 25H2) which is the most up to date version we are allowed to install per our environment’s rules.I actually ended up reimaging the laptop and installing a fresh copy of windows 11, last week, as I had run out of troubleshooting options (reinstall app, update app to latest available version in our environment, create new windows profile, changed a bunch of settings with the app that i found online)The reimage seemed to fix it for several days, but we’re back to square one again. In Acrobat Pro (old version) I can prepare PDF file with separation by:PRINT → Advance Print Setup → Color: Separations → ok → print I receive PDF file with each color separation on separate page. After change to new version of the program, when I prepare PDF that way I receive 1 page instead of each separation on each page individually. (eg. CMYK + P485+P122 → 6 pages PDF)

Using Huion H1060P, works on every art program such as Krita and PhotoShop. My problem is that it only sort of works on Adobe Acrobat Reader DC when using the Comment tool to draw on PDFs. The stylus only draws when the line is large. How can I have it so that lines appear no matter how small they are? It's hard to draw the number "2" in a small size because it won't turn out properly.  This problem doesn't occur when using the mouse - with the mouse, I can draw small lines all the time, whenever I want. That's why I'm assuming this is a Graphics Tablet problem.  I've attached a video to showcase this a little better. At first I'm trying to draw "2=2.9" and then I go on to draw "5=5". As you can see, sometimes the numbers don't turn out properly when using the stylus to draw small.

Hello, we have a large number of users that use both the free Adobe Acrobat Reader as well as the Pro version and on the latest update they are getting an error in the background that says "A running instance of Acrobat has caused an error. " I've reinstalled the applications, I've repaired the applications, I've confirmed the version numbering with the registry from the Adobe support article (https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/desktop/troubleshoot/performance-issues/acrobat-run-error.html). I can't seem to get to the bottom of this and it is happening quite often. Users also do not have task manager to close all the instances out. Trying to use Fill and Sign in Adobe Acrobat Pro and keep getting the error message, "The operation failed because Adobe Acrobat encountered an unknown error."  I unistalled, reinstalled and updated the software.

Does Enterprise Acrobat Studio include password protection and how does one use it? Is there documentation posted somewhere?

I am working with an end user that is having problems with multiple non-form PDFs, where comments added to the PDF will seemingly randomly duplicate themselves when they open the PDF.The issue is happening across multiple files.  When they open a file, they will see the number of comments in the side bar on the right, and as they watch without taking action, the number will increase over time.Acrobat is up to date, and we’ve tried switching back to the non-New Acrobat UI, but the issue is persisting.  I’ve seen there is a tool to remove duplicate comments, but I’m looking for a way to prevent them from happening in the first place, so I don’t have to spend time and effort removing them.Anyone have a solution to prevent, rather than repair, this issue?
