It appears today's Acrobat update broke something with the Edge/IE mode integration. When attempting to print a PDF that has been rendered in this mode, a focus loop will occur where it constantly switches between the print dialog and the rendered pdf window. A user can somewhat manually stop this behavior by clicking and dragging the rendered PDF window, but obviously this is just a hack workaround. Please advise. This is for a legacy application that requires IE mode in Edge that cannot be changed at this time.

When I choose the certificate and click “Sign,” nothing happens—no error message, nothing.I have already tried updating Adobe Pro and reinstalling it.

Preface: I am explicitly referring to the text boxes that are created when in ‘Prepare a form’ and not under ‘Edit”. Also, I apologize for any confusion in asking my question when it comes to correct terminology. I’ve attached a form that was able to accomplish what I’m trying to do, but I’m curious as to how they were able to do this and how I can replicate it myself without just copy and pasting the field from their form into mine. I am referring to the Vehicle Identification Number text box field, where they’re able to get more space inbetween each character/letter. Hope this makes sense and thank you in advance.

How do I get rid of the AI extension that has auto added itself to Acrobat PDF Reader ... it has made documents take forever to load and even longer to change from one page to the next ... this was a far more useful product before they stuffed it up with this AI addition ... please tell me how to get rid of it??

Bonjour.Depuis hier, mes collègues et moi avons remarqué qu'on ne voit plus les aperçus des PDF quand on clique dessus, dans un dossier. Pourtant, l'option est bien activée et les autres formats continuent de s'afficher (ex: AI).   On remarque que c'est seulement pour les fichiers reçus par courriel et non ceux qu'on créés nous-mêmes. Il est écrit "Le fichier pour lequel vous tentez d'afficher un aperçu peut endommager l'ordinateur. S'il s'agit d'un fichier de confiance ou que vous connaissez la source, ouvrez-le pour afficher son contenu".   Ça semble être relié à une mise-à-jour (probablement de sécurité), mais je me demande si d'autres personnes ont le même problème et s'il y a une solution car c'est vraiment une fonction qu'on utilise constamment dans notre travail.   Merci d'avance! 🙂

I am trying to extract only images and export them to JPG (from a PDF document). I am not trying to save PDF pages as images.In 2023, this seems to have become an impossible task. I actually need to ask for help in the forum, just to export images. Is this a bad joke? I have over 30 years of computer science experience and am struggle to export images from DC? Is it just me???I have searched past forum entries, but they all seem to relate to menu items I don't even see in the UI any longer. DC has been changed so many times, it has become very difficult to use.I finally figured out how to deactivate the "new" Adobe DC UI (which I found to be a terrifying experience). But after the switch, I still can't find that command?!?If I remember correctly, there used to be a feature "Extract images". Has Adobe removed that? In effect, I want to ‘grab’ all the contents of a page--text, pics, etc--and move it to the right or left 1/4”, without changing font size, text box size, etc whatsoever.  Just move it all as one big mass, so that after it’s moved, it still looks exactly like it did, just located 1/4” away.  It was suggested in another (now disappeared) post that I use the crop function, but that changes the page size, which I want to stay the same. Is there any way to move the margin over 1/4” or------???  Is it seriously just impossible to do this simple action in Acrobat??

An Acrobat Distiller error window pops up on Windows Startup with the message " Another instance of Distiller is busy starting up. This instance cannot continue". See image below. Several windows will popup. Any asistance on why this keeps happening is appreciated. Thanks!  

I used to be able to add a text box using the typewriter tool in Adobe Acrobat X Pro. However, I cannot find this feature in Adobe Acrobat Pro 2024. All I can find in Adobe Acrobat Pro 2024 is the Add Text feature, but this does not do what I want. I want to add a text box on top of the PDF, not Add Text that modifies the existing text in my PDF and causes all the text to shift over to the next line and modifies all the formatting.

Hello,I am reporting a persistent issue where my saved signature does not persist across different PDF documents when using the Adobe Acrobat for Google Drive app integration. The Issue: When using the "Fill & Sign" tool, I upload my signature image, select the "Save" checkbox, apply it to the PDF, and save the document back to Drive. The signed document is correct. However, when I close that PDF and open a new PDF document from Drive, the saved signature is gone, and I am required to re-upload the image every single time. Expected Behavior: Since I explicitly selected the "Save" option and am logged in via my Google SSO (which is linked to my Adobe account), the signature should be immediately available in the "Fill & Sign" menu for subsequent PDFs. Troubleshooting Steps Already Taken:Confirmed I am logged into my Adobe account via Google SSO.Explicitly selected the "Save" option when applying the signature.Tested the entire workflow in a Chrome Incognito window

Hello!This morning, I run the third party updates sync from Config Manager console and noticed that there was an update to security certificate for Adobe Reader DC catalog (thumbprint: BF7153FEEFC282B9F1D11CEC997EC01AD76F6693).  However, Adobe Acrobat catalog is still using the old certificate ( thumbprint: 96b7b1ef175bba4bde33a05402134289b28b5bcb expiring today Nov. 4th. 2025).Please let me know when do you expect that cert to be updated.I appreciate your assitance very much. Andre

In every other program it works fine but in Acrobat, selecting text and then using cmd+c to copy doesn't work. I found a solution on here for Windows that said to - first hold ctrl - then hold c - then release c - then release ctrl and then it would work again, but it only does sometimes. It's very efficient to each time have to right click and select the "copy/text". This issue started appearing after an update a while ago but I'm only posting now as I've honestly just been avoiding using Acrobat.Surely there's a solution to this? Thanks!

Hi everyone, We’re currently trying to understand the expected behavior of the Adobe integration within SharePoint and are facing several inconsistencies. We have SharePoint Online and several users with Adobe Acrobat Standard/Pro licenses. Our goal is to use Adobe for signing and requesting signatures directly from SharePoint. We have configured the Syntex pay-as-you-go solution and added Adobe as the signature provider. Issues Observed1. Signature request flowWhen most users attempt to request a signature, after logging in to Adobe (which is frustrating since SSO isn’t automatically invoked and credentials must be entered manually each time, even without correct password, just to invoke the SSO manually), they are redirected to the Adobe home page instead of the document signing screen.This behavior seems random, on some browsers or computers it works, on others it doesn’t.Example: on my Mac, it works in Safari but not in Chrome.We’ve tested on Windows as wel

Just recently two PCs no longer fully load page thumbnails when in Organize Pages. Typically, this view would be used to quickly correct page orientation. If I double click an image in Organize Pages, the image loads successfully. If I scroll through the images, they load quickly with no lag. Any ideas why the thumbnails won't load in Organize Pages? The file is about 300MB and I give it a few minutes to 'fully load' despite it immediately opening. I checked for common issues and reinstalled Acrobat on both workstations.See image for reference issue. PC Specs:i9-13900128GB RamNVIDIA RTX A4500 20GB 

Hello,  I am having issues on my Mac getting Acrobat Pro. I have a Pro licence but only the standard will load. I logged out of Cloud and all apps. I tried going to Library/Applications Support/Adobe and made back ups of SLStore and SLCache and deleted.Restarted the mac. But still same issue. When I launch Adobe Acrobat and say "about adobe acrobat" there is no Licence listed at all.On other users in the same ORG undert the same admin consol I can see that they are listed. Any help appricated. Thank you

In the new UI, add-ons don't display their icons, and the pop-up menu doesn't appear above the clicked tool; it appears a little further down, above the displayed document. Are these bugs, or is the new UI truly designed against common sense?   Thank you.   New UI:   Normal UI (aka Old UI):

How can I get rid of the horrible 'AI Assisitant' ? I hate, hate, hate, hate eeverything about it. I hate the popups that constantly get in my way every time I open a new PDF, I hate the way it dramatically slows down the application every time I want to just search for something, and I hate that way that it doesn't work at all or provide any value of any form. I just want it gone and never, ever, ever, ever, under any circumstances want it to be there getting in the way of every simple thing I want to do.  Please, please, please, please: how can I make it just go away? I just want to open and look at a PDF for heavens sake, I don't need any of this AI nonsense.-Ed May

I am using Adobe Acrobat (version 2025.001.20918) on MacOS Tahoe (26.1) and it crashes whenever I go to Prepare a Form, and then control-click on an element in the form and click Properties. It crashes on older installations as well as brand new installations. I have attached a PDF that causes the crash every time. I recently updated to Tahoe 26.1 on my Macbook pro and now everytime I double click an editable field to update it crashs (quits). Tried multiple files and also reinstalling Acrobat etc... but no luck. It ppears to be an issue with the Tahoe 26.1 update? Does anyone have solutions.
