I previously used Adobe PDF 2020 with my Fujitsu fi-7160 scanner, allowing me to scan and edit documents seamlessly. Adobe would even match the font for editing. However, since updating to Adobe Acrobat Professional DC, I can no longer edit scanned documents. I have tried using Scan & OCR and printing the PDF to PDF in Adobe, but neither method worked. Converting the file to Word results in significant data loss. How can I regain the editing capabilities I once had?

Hello to all,using Acrobat Pro 2017 (Classic Release), I created a fillable form. In the form I have a column with number fields that have the following field properties according to the screenshots:  As expected, the form contains a 0.However, numbers with commas can still be entered. In the PDF form, these numbers are then rounded, e.g. 1.99 becomes 2 (compare screenshots):  How can I prevent rounding in Acrobat Pro or prevent commas from being entered in the field?I am already very grateful for tips, ideas and possibly code examples!I probably won't be able to get around JavaScript.Regards, Daniel Schunk

Thanks to all in advance.I have a sequence action button that I want to abort after answering NO to an Alert answer generated by a script.The problem is that every choice you make (YES or NOT) the actions button go on (it seems a known issue).I tried to split actions in 2 button, the first with just alert script and the second (hidden) with all other action that goes in excecution by the script clicking YES.Bur here is another problem: Acrobat seems does't permit excecution button by script.Does anyone have a brilliant idea?

I cancelled a trial account which had an email i want to use on my paid subscription account particullarly when sending fill/sign documents.   after cancelling the trial account successfully, i tried to change the email on my subscribed account using the email on the cancelled trial account and it said email already taken.  does it just take some time for it to be available or is it locked forever?  feedback appreciated.

Hello, I need help with an Adobe Form. I need to take the value from a decimal field and convert it to text to populate another field. How can I do this?

I scanned a booklet, 2 pages 5x8 landscape, but the pages are not in page order now.How do I use adobe to separate the pages and get them in sequence?I don't want to cut the pages apart, it's an historical document that I reassembled after removing the binding staples.

Hello, I am creating an election form and I would like for the selection that is chosen to populate into a corresponding field. For example user selects "Employee Only - 1.99" the text field will show a value of $1.99. I also need a way to add if a person selects radio buttons 1-4 it will add the amount from box a and total in the final field. Is this possible? I have never used javascript before and I am absolutely stuck. There is a picture below of what the radio buttons look like.  

In days gone by you used to be able to email your file from within the application. Over the years Adobe have been pushing the use of its cloud storage services and made it increasingly difficult to do. Now that facility seems to have been dropped entirely from its sharing option OR am I missing somethign here?  ATM if I click on the envelope (email button) it starts an automatic upload and shoots a link to it in my mail app. I am not happy about this - can anyone help?

I signed up for a free trial of Adobe Acrobat Pro because I need to crop a pdf....but I can't get the edit feature to install. My computer is brand new and internet is stable. I have tried uninstalling and re-installing twice. It just keeps saying that the edit feature is installing. I don't even see a progress bar for it....nothing.  Just says it is busy installing (for the last 3 hours now). Any other suggestions to get the edit feature working or installed?

The crop tool no longer shows the crop lines in my document. The crop lines show in the crop tool but not the document?

Hello, I am finding that after combining multiple documents (which look fine on their own) some of my text is turning into symbols. All font is the same, just different sizes and some bold. This is in Windows and using Adobe Pro. The document in question is from Tax Software so we dont have any ability to change its fonts etc.

There seems to be a setting missing in Acrobat Pro that is present in Acrobat Reader. One of my users used to have their Adobe automatically open files after they downloaded them from a website we use. No, using adobe pro on a new computer, the process he was used to no longer works. Looking through the settings in Acrobat Reader vs Acrobat Pro there is a missing setting when using the pro version. the missing setting is in the screenshot Below

how do I move the dam side panel and tool bar to the top. It was there before now its just in the way. why change stuff that works!

Problem with Color Settings in Adobe Acrobat Pro.When I install Adobe Acrobat Pro and start the application, I have all the color settings (the "default" and the custom ones) available in Color Management.When I start Adobe Acrobat Pro again, I only have the "default" color settings.When I apply a color setting via Adobe Bridge, Adobe Acrobat Pro does not update.The other PS, AI and INDD apps have all the color settings (the default and custom ones) available and assume the color settings defined by Bridge.All Cretive Cloud apps are up to date.I'm using Windows 11 Pro version 21H2 64 bit.I've tried to solve the problem on different days during this month by reinstalling Acrobat Pro but the same problem always happened.I appreciate your help.

Im looking for some guidance and advice. My company is small, and uses Adobe Acrobat to sign documents. Each employee has created their own e-signature in their copy of Acrobat, and use that to add their signature to documents that are PDF'd.We recently had an audit finding that the signatures are not secure as anyone can create an e-signature and there is no check that who is creating it is the person who should be signing it. This is obviously a valid point. It would be very costly to go to a third-party CA to get e-signature certificates for the company.I have researched it and it appears that I can create a custom CA for internal use, then use the CA to sign employee certificate requests, and then the employee can use that certificate to e-sign. While this would still not show valid to people outside the company, there would be a way to confirm inside the company that the signature is valid. I tried using OpenSSL to do this, but when I got to the point of adding it t

What is the easiest way to translate a pdf doc from a foreign language to english.  I am using Adobe Acrobat DC   [Discussion locked by moderator. This is NOT the place to upload files for translation]

I have a drop down that is required. but I do not want to have a selection pre chosen. I want to see it empty when first opening the form.but when I do that, it accepts the blank as a choice.I want to set the field as required but and force user to make a choice.

I am attempting to re-create a form, as there was issues on the old one and no one knows who made it originally to release the security lock. The form is signed by multiple people, and there is a card that is to be cut out of the second page that needs to show those signatures. I know it is possible because the old form could do that. Does anyone know how you could do it? I can't just copy and paste the signature blocks like I do with every other field. 

Hi All I'm new to making froms using Acrobat, great lerning curve. I',m bit stuck so here is my issue I've have found codes for most of my form but strugging on the follwing.  If Start Time 1.0 = Off          , Added 10 spaces so you dont see the "h" that I added to the times on the drop down. I basiclly want it so that if someone selects Off on the Start time box all breaks and End time change to off and the value on the Day hours shows as 0.0h  Secondly I have the start and end time calulating but haven't worked out how to take away the breaks for 2nd and 3rd break 1st break will be paid so won't be removed from overall time.  Any assistance would be greatly appreciated  Thanks  Brian
