Hello everyone, I chose "combine files into a single PDF" and selected "larger file size" in the options, then I added 212 png-files and clicked "combine". In the resulting pdf the text is surrounded by a lot of grey pixels that were not there in the original png-file. Here is a screenshot for comparison. Above the png, below the resulting pdf. Why does Acrobat do that and how to make it stop doing it?

I have created a web based RGB PDF file from Indesign (exported using RGB and images colours only) which when previewed in web browser it changes only one section of text colour from Green to Purple, and when downloaded and openned has no issue - Does anyone have any knowledge why this is happening and provide steps to fix? Hello,I am preparing a form for our shipping department and I have it set up to calculate taxes, palletizing, etc and give a total.  At first, it was giving me numbers with a bunch of decimal places like $37.555555557778 so I set the format to number and 2 decimals.  It also makes an unwanted zero appear in that space even though no data has been entered yet.  How can I fix this?  I want my calculations to remain the same and for the numbers to only display 2 decimal places but I don't want the zero there because we sometimes have to fill out the form manually.  I have very little experience with java script, I read up on some things but they do not make any sense to me.  If there is a flat out formula you know that I can just copy and paste to the custom format box that achieves this, please just let me know.  I greatly appreciate any help and thank you for your time.  If this post is duplicated, I apologize, I think I posted it in the wrong are

I am a newbie to creating a form that has calculations so please bear with me. I am using Adobe Acrobat Standard DC, version 2015.006.30434.I created a "Personal Financial Statement" form and am struggling with getting the calculation for net worth to work. I have a column that totals Total_Assets and a column that totals Total_Liabilities but I cannot get the calculation for Net_Worth to work. Currently I have the calculation in the Simplified field notation as Total_Assets-Total_Liabilities. What am I doing wrong? Any help would be appreciated!Thank you!Brenda

I have a simple PDF fillable net worth statement where the addition of two calculated fields does not add together correctly. The net worth statement consists of a "Value" column, a "Liabilities relating to that Value" column a "Net Value" column. Some of the values may be left blank if not applicable. The Net Value works fine (Value-Liabilities relating to that Value)The net worth statement is broken into two sections (financial assets and fixed assets), with subtotals in each section. The subtotals work fine. The problem is with the net worth number where the subtotals for the two sections are added together for the Net Worth is the wrong number.The net worth number sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. Also, when a number is removed in the top section from the Value column the correct total appears in the net worth field.The statement has been working fine for the last 3 years and this issue just recently started.I have not found anything in the Community that helps with this. Hi, I want to redact and maintain full quality, how do I do this?I need to perform some OCR after redaction, when the file shrinks the OCR doesn't do so well.I tried unchecking "Save as optimize for Fast Web View"  No luck there.  File still gets shrunk automatically.  See screenshot below. Whenever I redact the data, and hit Apply, the file size is automatically reduced.  I just want the data being redacted to be removed, but I want the quality to be the same.  Thank you! 🙂

I am trying to save a pdf as pdf/a as apaprently this fixes an other bug in illustrator opening iot with garbled characters I get the attached image.  Any ideas how to fix this? Cheers

The question in the subject is rhetorical, because as of now the answer is "yes." I'm an attorney. I was testing AI Assistant by asking questions regarding a brief in a real world criminal case. AI Assistant refused to respond to several questions, indicating "the document, the question, or the response" violated "User Guidelines." Seriously? Imagine: guns and violence in a brief involving a criminal case. I thought attorneys were part of this product's target market. At this point, it's useless for any attorney doing criminal work. I can easily see it being useless for some species of civil work as well (for example, briefs involving allegations of s________l harassment).* Luckily, I have about a week left in which I can get a refund. I'm glad I caught it now rather than later. *Ha! I received this warning when I tried to publish the post: "The message body contains s________l, which is not permitted in this community." So I had to obfuscate it like a scolded teenager.

In learning using the Accessibilty feaure in Acrobat Pro I have discovered the possibility I am missing some features. In trying to activate "MakeAccessible.api" which is showing not loaded. Then I go over to Preferences tab and discover an item possibly missing from this menu as well. Then I check the Windows/New Workspace  and this is not an option. I have also explored trying to use the CC app to install updates. Running in Legacy mode, although have also tried the New version of Acrobat Pro. May be I should try remove and re-install as a last resort. However, just wanted to see if this is the norm for AA Pro?Thanks 

When a customer signs on tablet computer that is then printed as a PDF, will the signature automatically convert to an image (jpeg, PNG, BMP) or will it just render like the text?  If I right-click a signature on a PDF and get the blue box and a "Save as" with image extension , does this mean someone added the image of the signature?  I ask this because I signed on a tablet and see that the other party duplicated my signature somehow and put it into another part of the document that I did not see on the tablet or agree to.  I realize this is probably fraud but I need to know if it proves my sig was added because I can right-click it and it gets the blue box and the Save As shows it is an image that can be saved on its own separate from document.

Hello, we are trying to figure out why certain fields are missing when we choose the "Prepare a Form" option. This is missing in the "Text Field Properties" pop-up when you double click. Some documents have this and some don't. Please refer to the photos for additonal clarification.  

Hello everybody, I need to change the field labels that may be included into a "Custom Digital Signature Appearance" in Acrobat Pro 2020. Here is a help article about it.https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/DigSigDC/appearances.html The help article does not mention anything about how to change the field labels. There is just a tickbox to turn some field labels on or off. I need to change the texts of the field labels (Digitally signed by:, DN:, Reason:, Location: , etc) I do not need any text formatting like bold, italic, etc,.I only need to change the texts. Just as an example, I need to change the "Digitally Signed by" into "Electronically Signed by". The help article doesn't describe or even mention how to do that. In Acrobat Pro 2020;Can I do it?How can I do it? Thank you all and kind regards,Hakan

We are deploying Acrobat DC in a VDI environment and would like to not have to have users log into Acrobat each time when they log into their desktop for the day. I have tried copying the Adobe folders from local and roaming but that doesn't apepar to work. Any ideas? Thanks

I am new to JavaScript. However, I've worked with fillable pdf forms. Can someone provide JavaScript code that will perform the following function within the form:The form user will make one choice from Classification Area (5 selections: Student Development; Interagency Collaboration; Student-Focused Planning; Program Structure; Family Involvement). Based on the selection from these areas, a Heading field will be auto-populated on page 2 of the form. Also, I need to allow for multiple line entries in several fields in various fields of this form that might mean that the information will need to extend and add pages as the user types in requested information. 

Adobe, here's a novel idea, instead of using AI to create 6 fingered hands, fake sunsets, or Anime characters, let's put it to use to clean up PDF files for accessibility!!!It is an absolute nightmare working through your archaic tag structure, reading orders and you have no simple way of doing this. InDesign to PDF is a mess, I feel like I am back in High School learning how to program Fortran on an IBM XT, that's how intuitive it is to make a simple page ADA accessibile, oh, and forget it if you have tables!! Please, channel some of that AI genius to making PDF's accessible and do some good.

Hi, I manage pdf files with an application and after migrating my application on a new server, I'm getting a pop-up when I try to load a pdf as background page.How can I avoid this ? Many thanks 

My preflight libraries are empty, no output intents at all: Cant save as PDF/A. What I've tried:Uninstall of adobe with the cleaner tool and uninstalled creative cloud. (Didnt work)Updated it to 24.02.20687. (Didnt work)Ran as Admin account. (Didnt work)Manually reset preferences through the roaming appdata file. (Didnt work)Repaired installation through adobe. (Didnt work)     

I literally only use Acrobat Pro to create PDFs either from other file formats or by combining files, add and remove pages, and sign documents. I very occasionally need to add footers or edit text. I don't want to keep paying for the Adobe Acrobat Pro plan that includes software I don't use if I can get the same thing with the Adobe Acrobat PDF Pack plan. Please help. (The AI "assistant" was of no assistance.) Please excuse my tone; I've been searching for this answer to no avail and I'm quite frustrated.
