Created an Action Wizard macro to convert a folder full of PDFs to TXT so I can run some analysis on them. Simple macro - open folder, delete the cover page, recognize the rest as text, save as TXT. But when I run it, it stops after one file (which it processes fine) every time - ending on a blank page entitled "Untitled 1."Ideas? Is there a log I can review somewhere?

Hi everyone,   I’m working on a project where I regularly share PDF menus, and I want to make sure the files are easy to download without losing quality. Is there a way to save a PDF directly in Adobe Acrobat with the smallest possible size, rather than compressing it afterward? for example I wrote an article on [LINK REMOVED BY MODERATOR] and the file size is big as it contains images and tables, how can I make or save it in smallest size without comprosing on quality of media.    

Hello community, I'm hoping you can help me. I have a fully accessible PDF, but I need to add a custom stamp. I can't find a way to make a stamp part of the accessible tags. The stamp shows up as an annotation and I can't figure out how to make it a <p> tag. The document is part of an archived group of materials and if someone comes across the PDF in a google search rather than from our website, they need the context that the stamp provides to understand that it's archived. Thank you for your consideration! 

Industry requirements dictate that I add CUI/CTI labels to all documents containing technical data.This includes the process specifications provided by our customers. Unfortunately, these labels replace the existing header/footer of the document.  This is unacceptable as some of our customers use these features for document identification data - which unconditionally cannot be lost. Sometimes, using the flattener tool first prevents this.  Other times it does not.How do I covert head/foot content into page content, or in any way protect this content priot to CUI/CTI label attachement? Asking the customers to reformat their hundreds of documents is not avenue worth wasting time on.

I have 100 letters to make that all have the same message except for the Sender Name, but I cannot find any info on creating a master page that will sync updates across all pages using the template. I set my first PDF page as a template and created a duplicate page. When I edit the template page, the edits don't show up on the duplicate page. How do I create a new page from a template that will sync with any updates made from the template/master page?

I always have to download PDFs to open them. I have tried all the settings, but it doesn’t work. What could be the cause?

In Acrobat X Pro, the paper size used to show up in a bar at the bottom of Acrobat. This is no longer present in Acrobat Pro 2024, this bar is no longer available. How can I determine the paper size of my PDF? How can I change the paper size of a PDF (for example, from 6"  x 9"  to 8" x 10")?

Good day Guys,I need some advice and or assistance, i have created a simple filable form, for users to complete and submit the form to a specified email account and to cc in another email, i have also set the script to flatten the form before sending the form, so the form is not editable once the recipient receives the form. the form is working perfectly on my PC using Adobe DC pro ( subscription), but once the form is shared with another user using Adobe ( non subscription) the form does not want to open the script to send the email. Any advice would be apreciated

How can an e-signed agreement be canceled or voided in Adobe Sign/Acrobat Pro?  I know it can be canceled before it's e-signed, but how can it be done after it's e-signed by both a client and myself? Sometimes a client has to cancel a signed contract before we start a project with them, and I haven't been able to find a way to void the contract.  I've had to print the signed contract, scan & save it as a regular PDF file, then add a watermark "VOID" to it. Surely there's a way to do this within Adobe Sign / Acrobat.

Hello!I can't believe we are paying customers and we have to suffer immutable ads in the software.Shame on you Adobe  I get it's nice for new users ot have helpful tooltips like that there, but for Jerremy's sake I know how to request e-signatures fast already, this is not my first rodeo with acrobat pro.....so please.....let us be able to dismiss the bloody thing.Thanks for nothing, J.

Acrobat is opening the last modification on file if i try opening it from "recent" documents list even though i didn't saved changes before closing. I need to quit and restart the app for it to show me the original or last saved modification on a that file. Basically, if i try opening the file from my "recent" list it will open the file with the last modification not the actual saved file. How can i make my recent to open the actual saved file?

When I email a report created in Acrobat to my clients it is empty ie no values or text in the report, unless they open the pdf in acrobat.  I email a smaller version to the client.  How can I save a version that can be emailed and readable to them without openning Acrobat?  I used to work in a editble pdf file.  No problems earlier.  Only now with Acrobat.  Thanks for your help. 

pdf form fields are viewable in Chrome browser but blank when opening in Adobe Acrobat Pro. Help. The attached screenshot shows what I see when viewing from my local PC's installed version of Adobe Pro.  If I use the online version, I see the data in the fields.  If I open the pdf in Chrome browser, I see data. I also had someone else open the file in Adobe Reader and they could view the data. Ideas?

I have a user whom I have invited to company account.  They must have a personal account setup with this company email address as when they accept the invite they get a screen that tells them to purshcase PDF Reader Premium.  How can I get this email address associated with the company account.  User account is [Removed].   Any assistance is greatly appreciated.   k

Hi, I have been noticing an issue with the PDF to HTML conversion especially with missing or misplaced hyperlinks. Has anyone else experienced this? Does anyone have a fix for this? thanks

When select signature function, the software crash.  When select measure objects, the side bar show nothing, and the measure tool is not working. 

Every time I create from scanner, all pages scan and Acrobat closes before processing the pages. Since this is 99% of the purpose I have Adobe CC and this is 80% of my job, this is obviously a HUGE problem. My productivity is at a complete stand still and I have already lost 2 days installing updates to try and fix this problem. This occurs when scanning one or both sides, one page or multiple pages. On a une application maison qui génère un PDF et celui s'ouvre dans Acrobat Reader. Lorsque nous le sauvegardons on reçoit ce message d'erreur : Impossible d'enregistrer le document. Une erreur est survenue à la lecture de ce document(20). Si j'utilise la touche ctrl avec le bouton OK l'autre message est : Objet flux requis. Dans le PDF on a une police OCR. Sur nos postes la police est bien présente. Les autres PDF qui n'ont pas cette police semblent corrects.   Quelqu'un sait-il ce qui cause ce message d'erreur ?   Merci à l'avance

Bonjour,Sur un formaulaire Adobe j'ai crée des champs calculés qui fonctionnent parfaitement si j'ouvre ce fichier avec Adobe ou navigateur Firefox. Par contre lorsque mes utilisateurs l'ouvre avec Chrome ou Edge, le champ calculé ne considère pas correctements la virgule puisque le le total devient délirant  la solution est de demander à mes utilisateurs de mettre un "." pour ceux qui naviguent avec Edge/Chrome et une "," pour les autres... Pas idéal..Quelsqu'un sait-il résoudre ce problème?Un grand merci,Christian
