I am a Graphic Arts teacher in a prison (limited internet access). I need to Package an entire curriculum; videos, Lesson plans, tests, ETC. into 1 all inclusive interactive PDF to transport from computer to computer for a presentation but when i do, it changes the file extension therefore losing the links.I am currently using: Acrobat X, CS6 InDesign.

Is there a way to make my quick tools display in my tool bar at the top, rather than having them all contained in a separate drop down menu?  I use Adobe Acrobat a LOT (my office is paperless so I'm literally using Adobe all day long), and I'm constantly having to do extra clicks to open that drop down to get to my quick tools.  It's bogging me down.  My prior version of Adobe showed my quick tools on my tool bar across the top of my screen on the tool bar, making them much quicker to get to.  Can they be moved?

I recently updated my Acrobat Pro DC. Since the update, it keeps crashing when I try to use the edit tool. The error message reads " Adobe Acrobat DC has stopped working". I've gone as far as uninstalling and re-installing the program.Is there a bug in the new update?

Bonsoir Je commence à créer des formulaires PDF professionnels avec Acrobat Pro. Dans tous mes formulaires, à chaque fois que j'insère du texte, après avoir inséré une case à cocher ou bien un bouton radio, et que je reviens sur mon texte pour par exemple le descendre ou le centrer, je me rends compte que tout le bloc texte s'est fusionné avec le reste du texte, ce qui me gêne notamment pour la mise en page. Par exemple j'ai le texte "Âge", et le texte "Fonction" en dessous. Après avoir travaillé sur mon formulaire et que je souhaite remonter mon texte "Âge", le bloc entier avec "Fonction" se sélectionne je ne peux plus sélectionner uniquement "Âge". Je joint des captures si besoin.Savez vous s'il s'agit d'un réglage ou si ce comportement est normal ? Merci 

why do I have 434 adobe acrobats running in background?

  Con frecuencia me aparece el siguiente mensaje, y a pesar de activa la opción: "enviar siempre futuros informes de error a Adobe automáticamente", me sigue apareciendo. He puesto mi correo para que Adobe pueda ponerse en contacto conmigo, pero no sirve de nada. Alguien me podria ayudar?  GRACIAS!! JCM 

Hello Guys,We can all agree that editing existing text in Acrobat can easily go wrong and mess up the text block format even if the font is embedded in the pdf and installed on our machine. But in Adobe Acrobat documentation they don't mention anything about this instability, they just say you need to have the font installed. I'm looking for a formal brief explanation from Adobe or a piece of advice about editing text in Acrobat that it is not recommended unless it's really necessary and users should expect a break in text format or unexpected shifting in lines or so on, also to mention that Acrobat is not a text editing software.I want to include these recommendations inside a training document I'm working on for my students about editing pdf cuz they keep asking about problems in editing pdf and mostly they use Arabic fonts which breaks way more often and causes more trouble. Any help is greatly appreciatedThanksAhmad

Hi folks,I have quastion here about editing features inside chrome extension. I have bought Acrobat Pro 2020 and with it installs a chrome extension. It looks fairly useful but the editing features inside that extension are marked as premium and I can not use it. Inside the extension I log in with the same Adobe ID as I used to Install Acrobat Pro 2020 on my computer. Am I missing here something or the editing features inside the chrome extension are only for people who subscribe to Acrobat DC?

Hello,This is a difficult issue to describe because it changes depending on what OS/Adobe Product combination you use to open the file.We have a PMR form. someone gets the form and fills it out. It has text fields and table that auto calculates totals. It also has signature fields for digital signatures.After the form is filled and signed and comes back in email from being signed it will present what appears to be copies of the text in the form area with smaller underlying text and causes a scrambled look.I would appreciate ideas on the cause of this. Thank you.

We are having a problem where certain MS Word doc files that have been converted to PDF as forms do not print properly: characters are running together (and the characters in question are not form fields). They appear fine on screen; it's just a printing issue. We've tried printing the same documents from a PC without a problem. All my printer drivers are up to date. Has anyone else encountered this issue, and is there a solution? Thanks.

Hi Guys, So I seem to have issues with Acrobat DC crashing. It was fine this morning, now it won't open. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and rebooted several times on the mac and via creative cloud and no joy. Any ideas? Mac OSX Ventura 13.6.7 

Hello All,I use Adobe Acrobat Pro 64-bit daily at work. EVERY single time I open a pdf, it pops up an error box that says, "Acrobat has crashed" ... but it HAS NOT. My pdf is open just fine, and I still get the pop-up. It's quite annoying to have to close the dialog box multiple times every day. Any idea why it's doing this? Or how to stop it? TIASusan

Good Day Experts,          My issue today is that I have two text boxes I need to reflect into one text box based on precedents. If my first text box has an entry, I would like it to display the first text box. But if there is an entry in the second text box, I would like it to display what is in the second text box. Is this possible?

Adobe Acrobat Pro going into not responding state on several computers after latest updates from August 2024 optional and planned updates. Uninstalled, and re-installed, reset APP data folders. Issue persist.

HelloI'm not an Adobe expert, just a user of Acrobat and the AI feature looks interesting to me as it helps scan and analyze tons of pdfs (broker reports, analyst confcalls...).I have 2 questions:1/ PerformanceI would like to know if there is a way to improve AI performance. Do I just need to buy a better computer (I don't have a nvidia card on my laptop and am considering buying a new PC with one)? Are there other tweaks you would recommend if you know any? 2/GlossaryIs there a way to build a glossary of technical terms that would help AI assistant better analyze the content of my pdfs? Just some practical recommendations would be appreciated. I am creating an form in Adobe Acrobat and it requires 3 signatures, Employee, Supervisor, and HR Officer. The problem that I am having is that if someone uses the Fill and Sign option and places their preset signature, it locks the pdf so it cant be edited by the other two parties for approval. We can't use the E-Sign tool or Digital tool, because some employees don't have access to Adobe and dont have the ability to create a signature. What do I do? Is there any work around or way to make this work?

Hello there, Until yesterday, I was able to apply my saved e-signature to saved copies of my PDF's. I see my signature in the column, but I am unable to access it to drop onto my document.Anyone able to provide clarification?Thanks in advance. PS: Yesterday, I did have issues with PDFs not opening on one of my lap tops (I file share through MS), and Adode tech support had to make some changes to laptop settings. I'm afraid the whole document (PDF's) now look like they are coming from a server, as all my presets have changed and the PDFs themselves look different when opened. 

Hello, I have a question refering to a pdf that i cant see some images.In adobe Acrobat Reader DC and Adobe Acrobat DC the image that i want doesnt show.But in Acobat Adobe 9 Professional it opens all images ..There is any way of solve this question? or it will only work in Acrobat Adobe 9 Professional?Best Regards,Thanks.

Good Day Experts,               So, my issue today is that I have copied text boxes and some copied dropdown boxes throughout several pages of my forms. As known, if you check "required" or "read-only," it affects all the other copies as well. My goal is to have one text box and dropdown to allow entry and all the rest be read-only. Is this possible? 

I have a web page with some mp3 files(very short files, just some words' pronunciation), the whole page being saved on my computer. I want to convert it to pdf without adding the multimedia files one by one.Pdf printer ignores the multimedia files, please help.

How do I move a document from "Notes" to Adobe Acrobat?

I created a file this morning and the file was only 166k when I pdfed it. Then I made modifications and added emojis and the file jumped to 3mb, why?  Is there something wrong with adobe chrome browser adobe addin or something else.  Your products are simply unreliable....I could spend all day opening tickets your bugs.  I've atached the files for consideration.
