Using Acrobat PRO DC, Windows 10 PRO, Eizo 27" monitor 2560 x 1440, Windows scaling 200% Until recently the scaling of PDF files and the scaling of the Acrobat windows (e.g. Preferences) were more or less correct. After an update the scaling of PDF files is still correct. But the size of the text in the various Acrobat windows (and buttons) is very small. I hardly can read it. Please fix this, otherwise Acrobat is useless for me.
I would like to get rid of the empty space in the crop tool. I did it before on another PC, but cannot find out how to do it. Been searching for awhile and I guess I have not entered the right search word.
Good day, I purchased Adobe Acrobat XI Pro from you a few years back and I’ve recently replaced my PC and tried to install Acrobat XI Pro, but it gives me an error saying that the license has been revoked. I deleted the program from my old PC because I thought that it would be too many devices using the same product with the same serial number. I have it on one other device and I understand that I can use it on two devices – just not at the same time – which is how I have always used Acrobat XI Pro since I purchased it without any problems. Please help me sort this out. Thank you.
When in Acrobat Pro, I attach a PDF link to a separate PDF, however when saved the link doesn't open no matter what I try despitedoing this last week🙎. Can someone tell what happened or I'm doing wrong?
This will seem like an odd question. I have recently bought a new iMac. I have downloaded and installed all my Adobe programs on the new computer. All that is fine. I didn't remove all the apps from my old computer... just in case something happens to my new one (it's happened to me before). However, in the meantime... I'd like to be able to open PDFs on my old computer, so I figured I'd just download the free version of Acrobat. When I try, it says I have a version of Acrobat already installed... and it won't let me install the free version. So I thought I'd just remove the installed version of Adobat DC. But... apparently Adobe Creative Cloud was automatically removed when I installed the programs on my new computer. OK. In my Acrobat folder on my old computer, I see "Acrobat Uninstaller." But when I click on that, nothing happens. So... is there anything I can do? Or do I just need to delete all my Adobe apps from my old computer? And if so, what is the best way to do this now that
I've got a form that I created that has two dropdown options, Division and Department. When you select a Division, it only shows the the Departments available for that Division. Whenever you save the document, the Department field goes blank but the Division field stays correct. The code I have is this. Any ideas on what I screwed up?if (this.getField("Division_1").value == "Select One"){ this.getField("Department_1").setItems(["Select One"]) } else if (this.getField("Division_1").value == "Information Technology"){ this.getField("Department_1").setItems(["Select One", "IT Applications Administration", "IT Applications Development", "IT Applications Operations", "IT Applications Support/CMS", "IT Security", "IT Network Services", "IT Helpdesk", "Project Management"]) } else if (this.getField("Division_1").value == "Court Services"){ this.getField("Department_1").setItems(["Select One", "Court Data Specialists", "Court Interpreting", "
Can someone explain to me why this script works in Acrobat on my Mac but not when the PDF is opened in the Acrobat reader app on an iPad? I've also attached the PDF. var f = this.getField("Power1");switch(event.value) { case "Upper Body": f.setItems(["elevated explosive push up", "push pass", "push press", "explosive push up from boxes", "single arm snatch", "battlerope", "MB slam", "MB shot put", "clean and press"]);break; case "Lower Body": f.setItems(["box jump", "squat jump", "swing", "single arm snatch", "broad jump", "tuck jump", "plyo jump"]); break; case "Choose One": f.clearItems();}
(This post was marked as solved but I still need help... I do not know how to edit the post to indicate that I have not found an answer yet.) This may be the silliest question but I have been searching and searching to figure this out. I want to easily use bold and italic via keyboard shortcuts. Single key shortcuts are enabled in my preferences. I'm using a Mac, but I tried both mac and windows shortcuts to do this easily. It started working last night for about an hour but randomly stopped working. I don't remember changing any preferences. Now I cannot use the bold and italics shortcuts while editing. Do I need to have something else selected? Now whenever I try to bold a word, a bookmark is created. Control + B; and command + B don't work. I'm using minion pro as the font, but I tried switching fonts b/c I saw a few posts about how some fonts don't have that option and that did not work either. I'

I am receiving documents to sign and getting this error:This is an Adobe document sent from a company to myself for signing. I am having issues as the above keeps coming up when I sign it. What is the point of this software if I can't use it for its intended purpose? A piece of software that cannot speak to itself?1. AdobeAcrobat Pro 2024.005 (I downgraded to try as I have the 2025 version too)2. Window 11 3. Open document, fill in date, drag in signature, try and save and the above message comes up.4. Expected to be able to save the document I was asked to sign and send it back to the company. When you try to get help you are sent to a generic Adobe landing page with no information.

Hi all, Before I start my question I'll preface this with saying I have been searching online and experimenting with acrobat web forms myself and somehow have not been able to find this answer, although it seems like this should be easy to do. I am trying to create a web form for another department in my company and want them to be able to receive responses and form data, rather than myself. I have found I can add cc recipients to be sent a copy of each completed web form which is great, but how do I remove myself from all notifications? I don't need to be sent anything- would this require me to transfer ownership from the form or is there a way to remove myself from all notifications? I can't find anything on this. Any tips or tutorials you guys have found that have been helpful with sharing web form data, etc would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!
hi I'm taking advanrage of the 7 day free trial for acrobat - I'm supposed to have access tyo all the features - - but when I try to use the tools I keep getting directed to the UPGRADE NOW! page (see below). and there doesn't seem tyo be a way to get around it. If i edit a PDF - assuming i can open it without being asked for a password - i have to select the file from its folder and choose Acrobat as the host program - and that has worked but i need to convert a JPEG to PDF and havent been able to get around it for that what am I doing wrong?
I bought Adobe Pro specifically to use Pre-Flight.I did a fresh install of Adobe Pro on a brand new Windows 11 laptop. And now, there are no listed Profiles in Pre-Flight.I need a fix for this now or a refund for my purchase.
I am able to access e-signatures using Adobe Sign by logging into my account online OR using the Adobe Acrobat shortcut (as if I were to open a PDF) and click on the tool "Request e-signatures." My question is does sending a document through Acrobat vs. Online change the way the account is charged? Either way I send the document I am able to track it when I log in online, so I know it is under the same account. I have heard that the account is charged more when you send the document online vs. through Adobe Acrobat. I don't see how that would make a difference since either way it is connected to the same account.
My user is trying to save a file on a network folder after inputting their signature. They are getting a dialogue message stating " The document could not be saved. The file may be ready-only, or another user may have it open. Please save the document with a different name or in a different folder. Permissions have been changed to full controlView pane has been changed to details Security and enhance security was unchecked. Do you have any idea as to why users can't overwrite the file?
Why is this function not working properly. I'm in "Prepare a form" and adding the e-signature block in the section of the page I want and won't actually prompt an e-signature when click on the box. I tried reviewing the e-signature block field properties and played around with it and nothing. Just to clarify, I don't want the signature that appears as if someone signed with a pen. I need the e-signature that adds the organization, date and email etc. I really dislike this new update that my enterprise pushed out. Pleae send help!
Hi, I’m planning to include a link to a downloadable customized PDF in my eBook. However, I want to prevent customers from purchasing the eBook and sharing the editable PDF with others for free. How can I set up a system where each purchaser receives a unique auto generated password for the PDF, which can be used on only 1-2 devices? Thanks!
I need to set the "Fit" option (under the size tab in print dialog) for about 5000 machines, but cannot find a way to do this. There does not seem to be a regkey for this, and I'm trying to see to what files acrobat reader is writing in process explorer. but nothing comes up. Still it seems to remember the last chosen option there so it must be possible to make it persistent I think. Anyone here had the same issue and solved it ?Oh, I also tried the configuration wizard that is no help either...

Hi Friends, I've the following issues with adobe acrobat. I've scaled a drawing at 1:100, then shortly after changed the scale to 1:160. Sadly, the measurements after the change don't correlate to the 1:160 scale, they remain at 1:100, but the scale (right click) is showing 1:160. I used to be able to do multiple measurements with the ruler on a single page, say for example I wanted to measure the area of a desk, then the perimeter of the building, and finally the width of a window. Now, I can only have 1 measurement on the page. It's incredibly inefficient. When using the measuring tool, after completing the measurement I then select any other tool (line marking/drawing, text etc) and the measurement disappears from the screen and I'm unable to even return it with ctrl z. The above only started happening this year but I'm unable to recall when.
Hi, I have roughly 10,000 drawings that have been signed electronically in adobe. These now need to be OCR recogonised which I am unable to do because of the signatures. I assume I will have to flatten them first which will keep an image of the signatures only, which is fine. Is there a way to do this as a batch as I am struggling with preflight!?
I know highlighting creates comments, but it didn't do that for me until recently. It even removed the colors of the highlights. I have past documents where I've highlighted, and it never created any comments. Is there a way to fix this?
I have a Windows 7 PC (no, this will not be upgraded) and running on this computer is the CS3 version of Adobe Photoshop. Included with this package is version 9.5.5 of Acrobat.Today, and not the first time, I tried opening a PDF file and was greeted with the following: There was an error opening this document. An updated version of Acrobat is needed in order to open this document.I do not plan on upgrading the Adobe suite (too much money!) and so my question is simply this: Is there something I can do, at no dollar cost, that would allow me to open and view the document? Thanks.
I cannot find any property setting for number and calculations settings. It's not included in any property formats that I can find. Appreciate any help on this.
