Hi all,What I am trying to do is, I have a form that I ask users to input department numbers separated by commas, but people are still entering department descriptions. I want to force them to only be able to enter numbers and commas, but no other characters. Something I could use in the Custom Keystroke Script box.Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thank you

My company recent upgraded from Adobe Acrobat Pro 11 to Adobe Acrobat DC. We had to upgrade due to licensing and support ending for that product.After upgrading Acrobat we have noticed when using Adobe ie: Opening/scrolling/etc the program runs slower. A normal PDF document will have about 40 Pages. Another thing we noticed is when you print from Microsoft Excel to Adobe PDF, we notice Excel will lock up and not respond. After about 30sh seconds, you will be able to see the Adobe PDF printer dialog box. After you save the document, Excel will then respond. The normal amount of pages we print from Excel is 6 Excel sheets.What I was wondering is what I can do to improve the performance of Adobe PDF documents when you have them open and scrolling through/zoom in or out/etc. Along with what I can do to improve the performance when someone prints from an Excel document to an PDF document.Thank you for you Advice!

Hello,Request e-signatures has always worked well for me. All of a sudden it is no longer working. The following message pops up and repair just ends up closing the pdf. Learn more doesn't tell me anything either. Can someone please provide guidance? Thanks!!!

I just downloaded Adobe Acrobat,. It is up to date.  It refuses to Save As an edited  file. Instead an error message says that the file (and every other file I have opened )  is Read Only or being used by someonle else.  I am not on a network.  I am saving it to an external drive...the same drive that I opened the original file.  I have tried all the suggestions  on the internet including remove Enhance Security. .  I also have tried right clicking on my document , but no property option appears which says remove read only.  What can I do?

I had the issue of Adobe constantly crashing only after opening files a second time following a reinstall. None of the troubleshooting methods worked. I finally contacted support and discovered that the files opened fine when saved to the downloads folder or the desktop. The customer service person then suggested that the problem was due to my exceeding a file location character limit of 256 characters. It seemed logical since the files opened fine when saved to the desktop or the downloads folder. However, I manually counted the characters leading to where my files were stored, and it came nowhere close to 256.   Now I'm wondering if it has to do with the fact that these files are stored on my iCloud drive. Perhaps that adds significantly to the character count in some way. In any case, it is frustrating to change my organizing system to one that requires that I save PDFs to my desktop to open them. When I use the "Create PDF from File" dialog for my publisher document, the image resolution in the document and the overall file size significantly decrease. I need 300 DPI images, and my images load at barely 100 DPI. I cannot export the PDF directly from publisher because it causes my transparent PNG images to have black backgrounds, so is there any way to increase the image resolution from acrobat's "Create PDF from File" dialog?

Hello,I have an issue with printing shipping labels on the thermal DYMO 4XL  printer. The PDF file provided could be printed out on a laser HP printer, it also could be printed on DYMO 4XL printer but in incorrect paper size, however, when changing the printing label to the correct 4 x 6 size, the printer prints out black pages and then the sign comes up: "The document could be printed", and after I click OK, on another sign comes up "An error occurred while printing the document"  Please see attached screenshots. I was able to print out the shipping labels in the correct 4x6 size before without any issues, but something has changed. Does anyone know how to fix the issue? 

I'm trying to view pdf slides from my class with replaced document colors, but the majority of the text is outlined rather than colored in cyan. Does anyone have an insight into this issue?

In Acrobat 24 for Windows, Adobehas created its own file browser for choosing the Accessibilty Report location. It's very basic and you cannot (as far as I can tell) able to access amy shortcuts you may have added to your Windows File Explorer.  Does anyone know if it's possible to switch back to using the Windows File Explorer instead of the custom file browser? 

Is there a way to create an Action/Fixup that crops every page of a PDF in the following way: Everything inside the crop marks are kept, but the crop marks themselves plus everything outside is removed. I found a javascript snippet years ago that achieved this as an Action iirc, but I don't have it anymore. Been searching and trying out different solutions but nothing seems to work.

Hi I have a huge pdf of 37 MB wich I need to downscale to max. 16 MBI have tried the drag and drop section, where it shows the highest level of compression should give me an pdf at apx. 7 MB - when it is done compressing, but  I cannot download the small file only the larger file at 23MB. The notice says the file is already compressed, so I cannot compress it. No matter weather I compress it high, medium or low - the file ends up at 23 MBThe same goes for the kind of pdf I upload - interactive or print file, high or low resolution. Can anyone help. please? I want to add kilogram to numbers and still add or subtract the numbers in acrobat forms.I believe that should be pretty simple for a professional.let's say "text1, test2 test3, etc" are to be added or multiplied and add the total value in the text field "Total". I really appreciate any help you can provide.Many thanks for considering my request. 

Hi,I need to paste short text comments to technical drawings in pdf's. When I copy a text portion with ctrl+c from a Word document, such as "abc", and paste it in the "add text comment" box in Adobe Acrobat Reader using ctrl+v, the text sometimes appears as "abc" (which it always should) and sometimes as"abc".In the latter case, I have to redo the procedure. It seems that the position of the text box might influence the behavior. And no, I do not paste close to the right end of the document.Does anyone know how this behavior can be prevented?

I am using the paid version of Adobe Acrobat and I am finding it runs incredibly slow and crashes a lot. I have had to start using a free PDF viewer and found this peforms muc faster. The issue is with PDFs which contain a lot of detail in terms of vectors and images, I will be waiting a couple of minutes for ithe file to open and every time I want to zoom in or pan this is followed by a long pause where everything goes blank. There is a table in this file and for me to change the text within it I will click on the Edit button on Adobe which is immediate met by a crash, and then a long pause before anything happens.

Up until last week, I was able to open a PDF and use the tools (fill and sign, exporting, etc.) from there. Now I cannot. The app keeps telling me I need to upgrade. I already have Acrobat Pro which is what it is telling me to update to. How can this be corrected ?  Thank you so much.

When I convert a specific excel file into PDF by right clicking and choosing "convert to PDF" it converts it to a two page PDF on my desktop which it has never done before. I have this exact same excel spreadsheet on my laptop and it still converts it to a single page just like it always has. Why is it suddenly cutting off the bottom text of the PDF and placing it on page two? But only on my desktop computer. Exact same excel page.

When trying to combine pdf's the screen becomes gray and you can not combine files.  It will be working fine and just stop.  You will click on Add Files and then the screen just goes grey in the area where the files should be listed.  The file will not show up to combine, combine button still has a shade of blue but nothing happens.

I have a PDF with 200 bookmarks. In these 200 bookmarks each bookmarks starts with 001, 002, 003 then some individual text after these 3 numbers. I would like to delete the 3 numbers in each bookmark but keep the individual text. I have adobe Acrobat and plugin bookmark and splitdocuments. I am deseperate for help.
