I have been having a hell of a time getting our forms put back together in Acrobat Pro DC. Besides the well known iOS issues, I now have some of our forms going out with double fields. For instance, I will have a plain text field named "Description_01" I will finish up the document, send it out to our techs, then when the document comes back printing is a nightmare because the text will be blurred around. I started looking into the problem and set a hard font size for that box, also set so that long lines will not scroll. That fixed many of the issues, but when you printed it, the text would appear bold. I went back into editing and found out that for some reason, some of my text fields had doubled. In edit, it looks normal, but if you click on the field and drag the box, there is another copy of the exact same field right below it. How does that even happen? Why is Adobe making you pay for options in Acrobat that have been free for years?  Case in point: To print a mailing label with a Brothers QL-1100 printer, you have to create a PDF of the label, then use the 'Shap Shot' function in Acrobat to print it.  I can't do that now without paying a ridiculous $13.00 monthly fee.  Cmon Adobe, this is nonsense. 

I create a document of 33 certificates with the person's name on it. I highlight the name and create a bookmark (so I can later split the document by bookmarks into individualized certificates for each individual).  It started where ocassionaly the add bookmark wouldn't work, using (Ctrl) (b). Now it rarely works in any method. I have tried (ctrl) (b), right clicking the highlighted text and clicking Add Bookmark, on the bookmark panel clicking the "add bookmark" icon - nothing works. After a dozen or more tries, it will finally add it. This is crazy! Please help. Full paid for Adobe version.Thanks in advance for any help!

A few days ago I created a share link for a PDF, and it has now inexplicably been deleted from the cloud . I had it open in my browser, and suddenly found I was unable to post a new comment; then the next time I went to the browser tab it was no longer even viewable. When I click on the link I get "Shared file not available. This PDF has been unshared or deleted. Contact the owner for more information." But I'm the owner, and I'm 100% positive I neither unshared nor deleted it. It also no longer even appears in the list of documents on my Adobe homepage. A bunch of comments had been added by people at my company, which are now lost. Hello! I have a PDF that pulls info into it using form fields. Is there a way to split a whole dollar amount into millions, thousands and hundreds using a formula? Say the field name is bondamount thanks and appreciate any help

Hallo,leider habe ich bei der Internetsuche auf eine Antwort kein Erfolg gehabt. Szenario:Meine PDFs sind auf OneDrive gespeichert. Mit meinem Tablet lese ich die Bücher und markiere wichtige Stellen oder mache mir Notizen. Wenn ich die PDF schließe und wieder öffne, sind die Markierungen und so alles wieder da. Wenn ich die PDF auf meinem PC von OneDrive öffne, fehlen sämtliche Markierungen und Notizen. Ist das so gewollt oder gibt es ein Weg, dass ich die Markierungen auch auf dem PC sehe ? Vielen Dank im Voraus! 

I am using Adobe Acrobat Standard 2017 (classic).  The installation tutorial states that there is a compare pdf files feature in the tools tab.  However I cannot find any such tool.  May I ask why it would not be available?Thank you.

Hello, I have a large pdf file (11,000+ pages) of tax forms.  There is one field on each page (student id) that i want to index so that searching is fast. Is there a way to index that one field? Thank you

Hi! I'm trying to have a sum range trigger the showing of a check mark on a field.  For example if sum total is 19 a check mark will show up in box 1 because it is below 20.If sum total is 28 a check mark will show up in box 3 becasue it is between 25-30.I'm a novice at Adobe and your help is greatly appreciated!

Is there any way that I can create a PDF that has layers and sublayers? I'm creating PDFs with Adobe Illustrator and in the export menu it gives me the option to "Create Acrobat Layers from Top-level Layers". I'm thinking that Illustrator isn't able to create a PDF with layers/sublayers. Is this something that can only be done with Adobe Acrobat Pro? If so, how do I do this? Thanks in advanced!

Looking for help to create a formula for a text field under these conditions:- if neither of the checkboxes is selected, the calculation is 0- if only 1 of the 2 checkboxes is selected, the calculation is 0- if both checkboxes are selected, the calculation is 2 thanks!

I feel like this should not be a giant hurdle to over come. When designing a template from a PDF, I have many places where participants needs to initial. Currently it seems impossbile to simply copy and paste inital fields when assigned to more than one participent. I understand that each field has attributes that can not be duplicated, but cant we just plus-one everything? Please help, very time consuming.

Something new has started today in Acrobat, which is when I select some text and let go of the mouse button, a small menu pops up to the right of the text.I don't want this menu and it is very irritating. I have no idea where its come from or why and I cannot find any way to  remove/disable it.I attach a screen shot of the menu,

I'm trying to recreate the attached screen grab in Acrobat for my clients website. It's a 16 page A5 booklet that was recently printed  the header bar info has me puzzled - I don't even know what you'd call this PDF -interactive or readable, consequently, I can't find a tutorial for it.Please help. I'm assuming this can be exported from Acrobat  and is not some 3rd party software    

When I add Marks when printing a PDF, the entire set of marks (trim, bleed, color bars, etc.) are all printing off center to the artwork. The artwork is centered on the sheet. This seems to only happen on printouts that are reduced to fit on the sheet (letter size). When printing 100% the marks are fine. This is happening on various files and multiple printers. I've attached a picture of a printout to illustrate the issue.I've noticed this for quite a while now, so I don't think it's the OS or the version of Acrobat.Running MacOS 14.6.1 on a 2019 iMacAdobe Acrobat Pro Version 2024.003.20180Any advice would be appreicated!!THANKS!! 

I simply cannot get on with this new version. I can't even see page numbers. All I require is a reader without any further guff and and adverts. Where can I download an offline installer for an older version.

I have received a number of multipage (150 pg+) PDF docments from a client that will require extensive revision. I have discovered that there is a great amount of type in these documents that is custom encoded, and have names unusual such as MSTT31c750 (Embedded Subset) Type 1 Encoding: Custom. A LOT of them, like 80 instances. All the usual trick to import ot extract text, even using the otherwise excellent Marzware PDFMarz utility produces "Missing Fonts" for these.This is where it gets STRANGE. Attemps to replace with a common font such as Myriad, Arial, or Helvetica produces gibberish text, as is the "default" font. Even copy pasting the text or saving as a WORD or TXT file produces gibberish - even pasting into a text editor. VERY Strange, and frustrating. The fairly extreme soultuon of exporting a page as a image file, creating a new PDF of the page and running OCR produces copy that would require extemsive manual correction.The orginating application seems to be Adobe Pagemaker

Every time I open a pdf file an Adobe message pops up to say that I have the software on too many devices. I haven't. I only have one PC, but I have replaced the hard drive. I have uninstalled Adobe Acrobat Pro 2020 and reinstalled it but the message still pops up. It is very annoying
