How do you convert a PDF readers file to a Print file in Adobe Pro Dc. Printer says they cant print a spread file and they need me to convert to single pages

Turns out that if you want to extract multiple pages as individual files from PDF file in Acrobat Pro, when it's time to decide where you want to store those files, you get this...Really? This is extremely cumbersome. You really want me to look through my whole system directory? You really want to default to a file folder I almost never use for anything? Don't you want to provide me with a standard Windows File Explorer interface? Don't you want to default to the location of the source file? or maybe the same location I used last time? or maybe let me designate a default location?  As far as I can tell, this is the ONLY function in all of Adobe-land that presents me with this nonsense. Is there a good reason for this? If I insert a page from a file, you don't make me use this to find it.  What the heck?This Browse for Folder thing (or is it Browse for location...) is one of the dumbest things I've seen in a while.

Hi,A user is currently using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC (Below screenshot is Adobe Reader but used for showing where the issue appears).When opening PDF's intermittently they will appear with a white box covering the section marked in red in the image below. The area becomes unclickable. Nothing happens when you click in any areaI noticed that if this were the only window open and the white box was ontop of some other desktop items eg. Recycle bin, word, googlechrome. Clicking on the whitebox where the icons are located actually opens / highlights the shortcuts. It should be just interpretting clicks in the Adobe application itself, not behind the Adobe window.Re-installed adobe, repaired adobe, updated graphics drivers.Please note: Image 1 is where the problem occurs and what actually disappears (Home, tools, file edit view , window, help). Image 2 is what it looks like.Image 1.Image 2.I've never seen this issue anywhere else.Any help is greatly appreciated.RegardsJason

We have purchased 6 licences but are currently unable to assign to new users.  After 7 phone calls from UK to Customer support, they then removed my (the administrator) access to Acrobat Pro on 13/09 and have still not restored.  We are now 5 days down the road and still no sign of a resolution. Any suggestions from community how to troubleshoot would be appreciated.

I have a form at work that I am trying to setup so that it will import data from a text file.I have got it to work in Adobe Acrobat PRO (Continuous Release | Version 2024.003.20112 | 64-bit).Unfortunately, it does not work in Adobe Acrobat Reader (Continuous Release | Version 2024.003.20112 | 64-bit).I have placed the trusted function in the user folder. I used " app.getPath('user','javascript')" in the console to find the correct location.My question is, can Adobe Acrobat Reader do this and if it can, could someone please check the code below to advise me what I am doing wrong. Hi,I just purchased a Dell 5690.  I decided to put Adobe Acrobat on it.  Been using Adobe products since the company was founded.  I'll defer on comments there, but what happened today was WEIRD and TRUST DESTROYING.  Adobe folks, refer to case # ADB-37902089, because it got even better after I tried to learn from the nice guy in a tough spot without the information to do anything.I purchased Acrobat standard and downloaded it after all the Adobe cha cha.  Ran the exe.  As it paused to wait for a pass code, which I needed to get from another PC (this is an install for a PC that we will NOT use e-mail or outside comms on), I rec'd two emails with codes.  The 2nd one worked...I also got some e-mails about the account not being set-up, but it had been...other than that code.  Got me.  Seems there's issues.ADOBE ACROBAT FROZE.  I couldn't do anything except force quit from the Task Manager (we're on Win 11 24H2).  When I went back into

Hi everyone,I am trying to create a manual for a piece of software and I need three manuals, one for an operator, one for a developer and one for a programmer. My clients want everything to be in one manual however. I figured out you can show and hide layers with buttons in Acrobat, but when I add a layer I can only add one page to one page. Is there a way to overlay multiple pages on multiple pages? Thanks in advance.

I added large check marks by dragging and dropping a check mark to the left of any fields where I was unsure of the right information. I then created a document. I am now trying to remove the check marks from the completed document. From what I can tell, they are outside of the text boxes. Is it possible to remove them? Thank you!

Is there a keyboard shortcut that enables you to switch colours as you're typing comments? It would be such a good thing to have for annotations and corrections.

I tried looking at previous examples of this but my javascript is pretty limited so I'm still a little confused. I want to calculate specific fields for a cumulative value of 100%. For example 6 fields at roughly 16.6%. I want to execute this via a drop down menu and have it populated cumulatively as each of the 6 fields is selected...so if only one field is selected, the cumulative value would be only 16.6%, if two fields, then it would be 2x16.6% etc. I attached an image of how each of the six fields would be setup.

I've tried using Organize > Split, but it doesn't work. 

Hi, need help!I created a form with signature filed and selected "read-only" all fields (refer to picture) once signed.Submiited the pdf via outlook email. When the form received the date, time and other fields are editable. I am using Acrobat Pro ver. 2024.005 203.20 (64bits), any help appreciated. Hello I'm looking to do a click counter of sorts. I need to count multiple things on a pdf and it would he nice if when I highlighted it would start a count. Or a custom stamp also would help.  Thank you 

I have a annual subscription to a basic adobe plan ($155/yr). I tried to open acrobat reader to edit a document and am unable to without signing up for a free trial. What am I paying for if i need to use a free trial for acrobat when my subscription is the acrobat basic package? Am I missing some critical step in utilizing the program or is this not included in the subscription? any advice would be helpful.  

I have created a form with an invoice template. I would like the invoice number to auto populate in sequence. I have created that field, named it Invoice Number and believe I need to use the Calculate tab and enter something inside the Custom Calculation Script - am I on the right page? And if so, nothing I insert inside this box stays. I type it in, hit ok and it immediate disappears. Maybe my code is wrong? I have no idea of the correct format but have researched and copied and pasted various data I've found thinking it was correct, and still don't have the desired results. Please help! 

So as I mentioned in my subject... I'm receiving a warning javascript window error: stating "Invalid date/time: Please ensure that the date/time exists. Field [ArrestFile.1.Person.DOA] should match format yyyy/mm/dd". I tried changing the format but it says the same thing. I am trying to use custom calculation script using javascript to populate a field on the PDF. I select "Custom calculation script", then press the "Edit" button, enter the code below into the editor, then click the "OK" button.  The problem is that the code is never retained and the radio button is reset to "Value is not calculated" on the fields "Calculate" tab.  The code I am using is: var today = new Date(); var dd = String(today.getDate()).padStart(2, '0'); var mm = String(today.getMonth() + 1).padStart(2, '0'); var yyyy = today.getFullYear();this.getfield("RFP Number").value = "HCF"+yyyy+mm+dd; I am using Acrobat (64-bit), version 24.005.20320 Does anyone have any clue why this is happening and code is not retained? 

I subscribe for Adobe pro features but once I activated, I used it for one day then it's closed those feature and asked me to subscribe again. If you have help I appreciate

Hello,I am preparing a project in Illustrator/InDesign. It’s not for a bound book but for loose sheets. After cutting, the final size needs to be 200x110 mm, so I set the artboard size in Illustrator to 200x110 mm and added a 5 mm bleed. I've completed my design, but when I export it as a PDF, the MediaBox and CropBox dimensions show as 223 mm.This means that for my design, which should fit on A5 paper, the person doing the digital printing will need to use A4 paper. However, I want them to use A5 paper, but the MediaBox ends up being 223 mm each time. What would you recommend as a solution?Thank you!

I have seen all the other posts regarding this.  I go to "manage plan"  When I click it I get only one option - end plan.  I don't want to do that.  I have seen it say to try again in 24 hours.  I have tried over several days - no change.  I want to avoid the new price increase by paying once a year.  I don't see any other way to contact someone for help.  Help!
