Hi Everyone,I am an Adobe Pro user and installed the Chrome/Internet Explorer extension in order to sign PDFs. Unfortunately, the “sign” and “open in desktop app” buttons not there, thus I do not have the possibility to sign or switch to the desktop app from the browser. Adobe Reader users (free version) that have installed the Chrome/Internet Explorer extension do have the two aforementioned buttons available. Could you please advise on how to make this functionality available to Pro users?Thank you.

Hello, we have big problems since latest August Update to Adobe Reader 2020 Classic: - if you view documents or do something, we get "no response". Than you must wait a long time, until you can work again. You can reproduce the issue always. Anybody know whats the reason? We can't work with it.

I have a PDF when I open in Illustrator in RGB color mode it shows the values as 0/51/102. When I use output preview and select sRGB IEC61966-2.1 (or any other RGB simulation profile) it shows different values. Is there a simulation profile I can use to correctly show the same RGB values?

Trying to Find and Replace text within "Bookmarks Only". Using Ctrl+F, one can Find text and include Bookmarks. Once Find and Replace is selected, Include Bookmarks gets greyed out (see att.). If seen Add-ons do this in the past, but the current Acrobat doesn't have this functionality.

I'm logged into Adobe, but I still can't add notes - comments. How to unblock this?  

Good afternoon,  I'm using Adobe Acrobat online and with any PDF that I open, my text looks this. You can see it looks a bit bolder than usual. But if I needed to edit the PDF online, it looks like this. This is just not my computer that this is happening to. It's happening across the server that my whole department uses. When we open the pdf in Adobe desktop application, there is no problem but not everyone knows the process of how to "check - in" or "check - out". Is there a way to resolve this?

Hey there, I have an old pdf with embedded multimedia (videos) that I believe are .avi in origin. I'm attempting to view the file and play the embedded videos on Acrobat Pro 2024.005.20320 on MacOS, but when I do so I get a message in Acrobat that it needs an additional player, and redirects me to this link ...which is a URL that doesn't exist (404 error). I have legacy multimedia set to Quicktime in the preferences (it won't let me select anything else), so what's the issue here? Why can't I select which program I want Acrobat to launch to view the video if the correct player is no longer available from within Acrobat itself on MacOS??

I wrote a script, and I want it to be executed whenever a PDF file is closed. how to do ?     

Acorbat does not export to image.I can´t belive it.It just does not. The export process seems to go, in the folder i can see the image appears but, as soon it appears, it desappears.I have a clean Windows and Adobe installation. Acrobat exports to word, but does not export to image.I can´t believe it.

Hi all,The text on my adobe acrobat PDF i am working on turned into this! Let me know how i can fix this.  

Trying to run the Text recognition tool on a file and I get the above error. Saved it as a TIFF file and brought it back into AA. Was able to run Text recognition, however, really did a horrible job on the rendering of the text. I have also tried changing the DPI to 600. Only after it was on Auto run.Acrobat 24.1Win 11Thanks

Cannot figure out if this is an error if I'm doing something wrong. Will place a stamp, align it's size and save the document. No matter how I export it the stamp always disappears when exporting to jpg. I've tried binders on the single page, printing to pdf then exporting, adjusting opacity, locking stamp, emit flatness in properties, etc. Please help! It seems like it should be so simple but I cannot figure it out!

Hi there, I need some interactive PDF advice. I want to make the text between brackets into fillable text fields. The text fields need to adjust to the width of the typed-in words. The rest of the text has to move accordingly, so the result will still be a readable full text, like a contract. Is that possible in Indesign/Acrobat Pro?See below...  

Hello,  The Fill and Sign tool has completed disappeared from my Acrobat. It is a new computer and I've just downloaded the latest version of Acrobat Pro from Creative Cloud.   I'm working from a Macbook Pro with the Ventura OS. 13.1  When I open up ANY pdf the fill and sign tool is not either in shortcuts or the menu. I checked the security settings of the pdf and all permissions to adapt or sign were allowed. I tried using the tool and using the menu, but nothing happened at all.   Appreciate your help. Turns a 30 sec task into a laborious task. 

Hi,I am a copy editor/proofreader, and I work in PDF markups in Adobe Acrobat XI Pro. Sometimes, I need to copy existing text from a PDF and paste it into a comment to make edits or rearrange the wording. If that copy already contains a special character (em dash, en dash, superscripted number, trademark symbol) or if I need to “clear formatting” because the text is in white, anything I superscript within that copy changes to subscript.So for example, if the PDF says:It’s easy — just go …Now, let’s say this copy is in white in the PDF and I need to add a footnote. I copy the phrase, use the “Add Note to Replace Text” tool, paste the copy, and do Text Style > Clear Formatting. Then I add a “1” after “easy.” If I select the “1” and do Text Style > Superscript or do Ctrl-Shift-+, it superscripts the “1.” However, as soon as I click away from the comment box, the superscripted copy changes to subscript.In the above example, I know there would be easier ways to do this, but I am just

I have adobe acrobat standard XI version 11.0.23 installed on my windows laptop. I use it to very successfully scan and OCR text in English. My work now means that I need to be able to scan and OCR Thai script. Can anybody help please?

After updating o the most recent version of Adobe Acrobat in our office, PDF forms that normally get printed out are showing up incorrectly. The fields themselves appear correct when viewing the document (more on that later), but when printing, the information from those text fields looks like if someone had been trying to use a typewriter to fill out the form, and went over it multiple times.   Further testing has shown that the multi-layered effect of each text field appears in the print preview, and when selecting a text field. If I open the PDF in a 3rd party PDF reader, the document appears correct, and prints without issue.

I am having an unusual issue with some adobe PDF files.  When I try to open the file, I get the following error message: "To view the Flash technology content in this PDF file, please install this version of Flash Player that supports Adobe Reader and Acrobat"I am unable to open the file in Acrobat.  However, I can open the file in PDF XChange Editor, and it appears to be some sort of combined file with several documents.  Since flash player has been discontinued by Adobe, and is no longer available for download, I am unable to install it.  I am using Adobe Acrobat Pro XI.How do I open these files in Acrobat? 

I create documents from PowerPoint to Acrobat. I got the PDF files to open to specific folders/links in a shared drive on my work laptop/PC. In my system, everything flows according to design. The problem I am running into is when an end-user accesses my folder on their workstation the link functionality does not work. I have compared the acrobat settings between the 2 work stations and nothing stands out as a difference or functionality between our systems. What am I missing here?

I know that Livecycle ES is ending. I'd like to know how to purchase AEM Forms Designer. Is this even possible? I've searched and searched and cannot find a place to buy this program.Thanks for any pointers.

Hi, I am using Adobe Acrobat DC with the latest updates on Windows 11 Enterprise and looks like it has a bug as the dropdown list can not display Verdana Bold font.  Also, after I use it for a while or open certain amounts of forms, it will freeze and has to close it from the Task manager. Please have a look into this. Thanks.

Someone sent me a legal sized document but cropped the pages to fit as letter sized. So each legal sized page is split into two 2 cropped letter sized pages. I need to reassemble the pieces to make each page legal sized again. I tried removing the cropping with the print production tip but it does not work.  How can I layout the 2 halves to make one legal size page?
