I have a Creative Cloud Pro plan. Acrobat Pro is listed as included on the plan page, but it does NOT appear under my actual account entitlements in my CC app. I have tried restarting my CC app (mac). OS is updated.

One of our customer doesn’t like the mouse hover display of alt-text. They want it to be disabled. How to fix it. 

Using the Acrobat ribbon/PDFMaker Add-in in Microsoft Word to export a PDF fails to bring the alt text to the PDF. This is with the ‘Enable accessibility’ box checked in the Preferences. I have tried on a work and home computer in case this was a device-specific issue.WebAIM seem to have had the same issue as recently as Oct 2025: WebAIM: Word and PowerPoint Alt Text Roundup. Although I did think this was working at some point in the last year or so.The work around is using the Save as option (ie on Microsoft side not Adobe). Do others have the same problem? Is this on Adobe’s radar to fix?

I am having a problem comparing two versions of a file. Getting an error message which reads "Acrobat could not Compare the Documents Completely."I uninstalled and re-installed Adobe Acrobat Pro and got same results.Windows 10 Pro.Adobe Acrobat Pro is version 23.2048. (20421).I also tested using the suggestion in this thread.Open Acrobat>help>About Acrobat.Navigate to Acrobat>Edit>Preferences>Security (Enhanced)>disable "Protected View" and "Enhanced Security"> Click OKClose and reopen Acrobat and try comparing files again.  That failed with the same error. Original settings were restored.Sample image or error: I gett he same error, regarless of whether I choose the Compare Text Only option or not.

My colleagues and I have come across a problem when we combine files that only seem to be a problem on their machines and not on mine. I am working on an Imac and they are on higher-spec PCs.The problem occurs when combining files together. The combine file function will work fine on all PDF files, but returns an error on most word documents saying "Error during Processing", and skipping them. It doesn't seem related to the file size as it has returned the error for files under 50kb as well as on the larger ones. We have tried downloading the files and saving them to a folder on the desktop to make sure it isn't related to the path length or being online (again, the PDF files saved into the same location don't have any issues). When the files are first added to the combine file section and the previews are generated, it has no issue or errors with them.Does anyone have any other ideas for why this is happening and how we can fix it?

When I go to complete my Digital Signature, it wont allow me to Sign. I have tried Saving the Doument, Checking for Update, Uninstalling and Reinstalling Adobe, Creating a new Digital Signature......  

I bought Adobe Acrobat Pro XI . Recently due to a hard drive failure I had to reinstall Adobe Acrobat Pro XI in a new computer. The product was registered to my Adobe Account online. While reinstalling, I used my key from my Adobe Account but it constantly says invalid key. So, I installed the product as a trial and signed in with my Adobe Account ID and password but every day the program asks me to license it before using it. I hit License button and sign in with my Adobe ID and password and it goes away only to reappear in 24 hours. Need to have a stop to this madness.Best regards, 

I have Pro 2025.001.21288 for Mac. I use the Take a Snapshot function all the time and the icon which I had set up for my old toolbar is gone in the radical redesign.  Rather than fumble for Take a Snapshot function under the Edit menu, I was wondering if there was a way to put it in the side toolbar.  I simply can’t find it under the new customizations.  Thanks.

When I open the PDF Document in Adobe, we got an addin Imange, as you can see in the imanage it shows the option like Open, Save AS.But when I do any edit on this document for example sign the document then the options in iManage addin will fade. Can you please tell on how to fix this issue??Why changes made to the document are not saved to imanage?

II want the form to display an icon that represents the number.  I have the icon images ready to import into Acrobat. I do not care if the form lets me select the icon from a drop down menu or the form converts the number I enter to the icon or I click multiple times to.cycle through the list of icons to select the one I want.  I just want the end product to display the icon and not the number.Can someone help me with this?

Hello, I need to disable the grey pop-ups that display alt text when hovering over images. However, I need to do this while keeping the alt text embedded in the document for obvious accessibility reasons. That is, the document must remain accessible and meet all accessibility requirements, but I need these pop-ups not to appear when they are not needed. This is essential for presenting work in settings where no accessibility support is needed, while the document retains accessibility features for other instances. Please let me know how to do this.  Thank you.

Wondering if anyone else has run into this issue and found a fix, since Adobe support (as usual) has been absolutely worthless in helping me with this issue.  We have 12 new computers that had Acrobat installed (fresh OS and fresh Adobe installation) and ALL of the computers have entries in the Windows Event Viewer throughout the day with the following message:Product: Adobe Acrobat (64-bit) -- Error 1730.You must be an Administrator to remove this application. To remove this application, you can log on as an administrator, or contact your technical support group for assistance.There is no update available and I went as far as completely uninstalling the software on one of the computers and reinstalling it, per supports suggestion.  I even used their cleaner program to uninstall and manually removed all associated folders and registry entries.  Still happens throughout the day when the user is logged in and I’m suspecting this is causing some other issues.Also, after this the following

Something has changed and I do not have a soluton. Please advise. I have created created posters of 24" x 30" (to be printed on 8.5" x 11"). I print these via the "Poster" in the Page Sizing & Handling, set the Overlap to 0.25, click on Cut marks and Print. This has always provide great cut marks on top of the image, allowing me to splice together for creating the 24" x 30" poster. But now, the cut marks are only appearing out side the image, and no longer apear on top of the image. (I do have a final trim box inside the full poster) Print drivers are up to date as is the software. Please advise.

Any PDF file takes 30 seconds to open regardless of whether Acrobat is open already or not. This is happening on a brand new Dell XPS laptop. I've used Adobe apps on Dell PCs for decades and have never experienced this issue. It has completely disrupted my workflow. Hello all,I often use Acrobat to edit or mark up PDF in order to communicate with others. One function I have found useful is the text strykethrough function. However, I have not been able to find a way to change the thickness of the line used with this function. This is a very useful function and even more if the user has the ability to change the thickness of the line.Does anyone know how the thickness of the line in the strykethrough text function can be changed?Thank you!

I have a PDF exported from InDesign (end use is online but needs to have fairly high quality image exports in the event that it is desktop printed) that has dozens of placed illustrator images that have vector pattern fills. The resulting PDF is 30MB and it needs to be closer to 15MB. After auditing the space usage under the optimizer the pattern information is about 76% of the usage. I assume it is the illustrator pattern fills that are cause this bloat. Any suggestions on how to reduce this? TIA

good morning I purchased these products in 2017. They were installed and used on my computers. I noticed yesterday that the program did not allow access to modify pdf files. Access was requested. I gave access and password with correct email but the programs were started in 7-day trial mode. In practice my license is not recognized .... what do I do now?

Whenever I scan a document from a Xerox printer and send it to my email, the scanned pdf in Acrobat looks low quality. Look below to find a screenshot of what I mean when I say low quality. I have reached out to Xerox to discuss this issue and we adjusted the DPI and sharpness of the scans and we were unable to find a solution. Afterwards, I looked into the possibility of it being a rendering issue and I do believe it is. I was unable to find a graphics acceleration option in the settings so I have not been able to adjust that. I did find that zooming in and out at certain points, the quality increases and looks great, and then in certain spots the quality is worse. Additionally, we have sent the scanned pdf to other users with different PCs and we found that two users, using graphics cards, the quality was almost perfect.My overall question is, what would be a long-term solution to this problem? It is very critical for a group of users to see the actual scan without rendering issues,

When I select any tool in Acrobat (for example, Edit, Organize Pages, Prepare Form, etc.), the left panel appears but it is completely empty. No options or tool settings are displayed. This happens in every tool, not just Edit. I know this same question/error's been posted a million times and has been around for at least a decade.  There's a number of possible causes and fixes, but none have worked for me. Essentially, I open a PDF (unknown who produced it or how much it's been modified since then), but on some computers I get the error "Cannot find or create the font 'ArialMT'. Some characters may not display or print correctly.", while on others, I get no error dialog at all, but some text is just white boxes while other text (even within the same word or even just a closing bracket (i.e., ']') shows up fine: From digging into the issue, I understand that some version/variation of a font wasn't embedded when the PDF was created, but what I don't understand is why I can open the exact same PDF in various PDF applications and some of them are able to display the entire PDF without any issue.  To wit:Adobe Acrobat Pro DC (2021.005.20060) - White boxesAdobe Acrobat Reader DC (2021.005.20060)

I have a fillable PDF with multiple pages. On one page is a table with a lot of form fields and sometimes our users need extra pages with this table on it. I have a button that duplicates the page but if there is any information on the original page it pulls that as well. Is there a way for the button to duplicate the page with blank and unique form fields as well as bring the button along with it in case more pages are needed?
