When output is generated, what I used in RoboHelp 2017 is not shown for RoboHelp 2019. I cannot continue working the way I have been if I am unable ot provide output files. See the attachment for further detail. Your help is imperative.Thank you,Michele
The Word output of About Robohelp includes a title page. How do you include this in the Word output properties? I looked at the TOC and there is a "Front Matter" as the first entry. Is this the title page? If so, how can I do the same thing for my Word output?
I have Microsoft 365 Word and Robohelp 2020. I customized Word Output properties to include the TOC. However, when I publish to Word Output, Robohelp does not generate the TOC.
Hi, Everyone. In RH 2019, new UI, I'm outputting to PDF. And RH is giving me an extra page that I wish weren't in the PDF. It looks like fine in the PDF table of contents. "How We Do It" is properly listed as sharing p. 8 along with "Analytical and Creative" (Screenshot A): It looks fine in the help, itself -- meaning the H2 header "Analytical and Creative" appears directly after the H1 header, in the same topic (Screenshot B): But in the PDF, the two headers are separated, as if they're in separate topics (Screenshot C): Here's what the code looks like (Screenshot D): I'd appreciate any help on this. Thank you!
I am using RH 2019 version. In the output generated, the file has .htm extension. For some reason, we need the extension of the file to be .HTML. Is it possible while generating the output? If yes, how?
For some reason on one of my projects Robohelp is creating a duplicate Assets folder inside my Outputs folder but outside of the HTML5 Output folder. It still creates an assetts folder inside the HTML5 folder but it creates a duplicate on outside of that one with just the CSS folder inside of that one. I assume it has something to do with the project preferences but I don't know where.
I'm not a RoboHelp expert -- I'm trying to update our website.I want to retain my websites global navigation while the visitor access the RoboHelp generated help files. The current solution being used takes the visitor completely out of the website experience while they view the help files.
I'm coming back to RoboHelp after a long absence (RH11 was the last version I used), and I'm trying to wrap my head around all the new features. I'm getting the hang of it for the most part, but I'm a little confused about how to handle subtopics in the TOC. Basically, what I am working on is a manual with about 1000 topics. There are 8 main sections to the manual, each section having between 4 and 8 chapters. And each chapter will need to have at least 2 heading levels (Heading 1 and Heading 2). Also, we want the manuals to be output to web and PDF. I have all of the topics imported and ready to add cross-refs and fix up the bullet and numbered lists, but I'd like to get them all in the TOC properly. Can someone point me to a tutorial or a post that would explain the process of how to arrange my TOC properly? Thanks in advance!
I am using RH2019, new UIRH2019 is updated to latest versionMy experience in RH is 15+ yearsEntire new product release being help up by documentation, VP is livid. I am having a lot of problems trying to use the new output presets to generate my print doc. My project was upgraded from RH11 about 3 months ago, so the presets I have were automatically generated by RH based on the old SSLs. The Help outputs are working, it is the PDF and Word outputs that have my content trapped. My delimmea is if I output to PDF the document size doubles due to starting a new page for each topic (out of my control), and if I output to Word first I am getting issues like all steps starting at 1, incorrect font sizes, etc. And that's if I can even get it to output to Word--for some of the documents the word output fails. That also holds true for the PDF generation, on the larger docs the output fails. I have talked to tech support several times, and their response was that the preset g
I want to follow up on a question I posted a few weeks ago about printing to PDF out of Responsive HTML Help. https://community.adobe.com/t5/robohelp/print-to-pdf-from-responsive-html5/m-p/11323372?page=1 During the conversation, it was suggested that using a print .css may be the way to go. We are kicking around the following idea: could we add a Print link to each topic or modify the behavior of the Print button on the toolbar so that a topic opens in a new window where a print .css is applied, and then you could use the standard Print dialog to print a hardcopy or save a local copy as PDF. Is it possible to do this in RoboHelp? If so, how would we go about it? I'm hoping that someone might be able to point me in the right direction to give this a try. I am about to upgrade to RoboHelp 2019 and will need to use the Classic version for a little while before making the transition to the New UI and eventually RH 2020. It's OK if the solution cannot be implemented in
Is there any way that I can permanently change the caption ("How can we help?") that is part of the home page of a project output? I see where it is in the output files (whxdata\projectsettings.js), so I can modify there and make it change, but I shouldn't have to do that every time I regenerate the output. Thanks.
Hi, Everyone. I'm sure I'm just doing something silly. But when I edit a topic and go to the Styles tab, even with "All Styles" selected, the only style that shows is "None" and "RH-layout-centerpanel..." (see screenshot). SCREENSHOT Can someone please get me back on track? Thanks!!
Hi Team, While working on TOC (Table of Content). By mistake, i have dragged and dropped one of my main TOC folder (several subfolders and topics) Now I cant able to view that folder. But in Content section i have that folders. Can you Help me how to restore the old TOC ? Thanks,Shyam S
I upgraded my project from 2019 classic to the modern version, and when I try to generate the output, it says, "Skin not selected in output settings." The classic versions uses the Bomega skin, but that option isn't available after the upgrade. The only options available are Azure Blue, Charcoal Grey, and Indigo. Is there a way to get Bomega, or at least something close to it? Edit: It's the Bomega skin, not Beautiful Vista Flash.
Hello, I am using RoboHelp 2017. I have noticed that there is a character limit to the bookmarks that we are using for subtopic navigation. This is primarily on linked Word Documents; the Table of Contents Headers we use in the word documents do not display fully in RoboHelp and are thus shortened when we publish our site. DOes anyone know how to correct this?
When I publish to a SharePoint online folder, duplicate TOCs display.
I am using Windows 10 and RoboHelp 2019 (Reimagined).RoboHelp is not publishing correct files to SharePoint Online. It publishes them correctly to the local drive but a previous help system displays when publishedto a SharePoint Online folder. I have Republish All checked, the upload location is correct, and the address is correct, I have created a new folder on SharePoint and published to that but the problem still persists. I am using Responsive HTML5.
RoboHelp Reimagined keeps giving Application error message when opening. If I restart Robohelp as recommended, it keeps giving the message.
I have configured my master page and I do a preview and it looks right. However, when I generate my pdf, the logo does not display and my page number is towards the middle rather than towards the right. I have selected A4 in my PDF output preset. Do I have to configure the page size somewhere in my RH project?
Are the following issues fixed in RoboHelp 2019 or do I need to maually perform the steps mentioned in the links for RoboHelp 2019:https://helpx.adobe.com/robohelp/kb/context-sensitive-webhelp-topic-calls-not-working-in-firefox.html https://helpx.adobe.com/robohelp/kb/webhelp-output-loading-issue-firefox.html
For clarification, I am adding a new book with content and it currently appears as shown below (example): [Authors/Book]-Overview of Authors' (topic)-Author 1 (topic)-Author 2 (topic) I want the content of 'Overview of Authors' to appear on the Authors page and NOT appear as a seperate page. How can I make this happen? Note: I do want the pages for Author 1 & 2 to remain as seperate pages. One additional question: I created my books and topics in TOC, not Project Manager. Is there a way I should/can link the new book & topics in project manager? As it stands, they appear and function correctly in the output (just in TOC). However, should these be simply duplicated in the Project Manager?
When I open my Robohelp2019 project, I don't see any TOC contents in the author mode (it's just a blank project). But if I generate the project, I am able to view the entire contents in the Frameless output. I used to be able to view the contents, I don't know what I did to 'hide' the view. Can anyone help? Attaching a picture of my open RH project (that actually has content - you just can't see it!).
I created Sections in the project TOC and generated Responsive HTML5 online help. When I view help in Microsoft Edge, the TOC only shows the first Section I added. When I click the Section all the topics display. None of the other sections I added show up.When I view help in Google Chrome, the TOC shows all the topcs and only the first Section I added. None of the other sections I added show up.
RH12 | WebHelp Does any one know if there's a way to force RoboHelp to retain the <thead> and <tbody> tags? I'm pasting a table into the HTML view and when I switch to Design view it strips out these tags. Thanks Jonathan
We use Zoho desk for our support center. If we want to use RoboHelp micro content for the knowledge base and chatbots can we do something to make it work or does Zoho have to do something to make it work?
