Hallo, wir haben im Jahr 2020 die Robo Help Version 2019 gekauft. Wir erstellen damit unser Software Handbuch für unsere Kunden. Dies möchten wir lokal hosten. Ich wollte gerade ein Update auf die Version 2022 machen, dazu muss ich anscheinend ein Abo abschließen. Als ich beim Support nachgefragt habe, meinte sie, wir haben eine unbefristete Lizenz. Mher konnte der Servicemitarbeiter nicht sagen und ich soll hier nachfragen.Jetzt haben wir folgende Fragen: - Ist es möglich, RoboHelp mit neueren Versionen als 2019 weiterhin auch lokal zu nutzen? Wir möchten keine Cloud-Lösung. - Was bedeutet diese unbefristete Lizenz?- Was würde ein Abo überhaupt kosten? Ist das nur in dem Tarif mit "allen Applikationen" dabei? Wir benötigen nur RoboHelp. Wird das einzeln lizensiert? Es würde uns sehr freuen, wenn uns jemand helfen kann! Vielen Dank im Voraus. Mike

I am using Azure-Blue skin of RH2022  and the output as is has serious problems as I just noted in other posts. I may need to reset the app or its preferences as this seems a most unsual behavior. In any case, before I spend great amount of time hunting down this problem, I ended up facing other issues where I need to customize this skin, but not using the limited RH 2022 user interface dialog-guided skin customization options. It turns out that for the HTML5 output, RH2022 is copying a file "layout.css" from its own directory and placing it in the template/Azure-Blue directory of the output. So modifying this file, quickly solved a big part of the problem. But, this layout.css file is not in my project directory. How do I add it to my project, as the permenant new skin css? Where do I pace it so that RH 2022 will use it, and not use its own "layout.css" from its own directory?

Using RH2022, switching between edit pane and preview pain is causing loss of page position. This is probably one of the most used features during the editing where a change in the edite view (pane) need to be chacked for display, and a click on the preview item does this, but loses the page position area that I wanted to see, and I have to scroll to find it. When you do this 20 times per hour all day, it gets very tiring. interestingly, switching from the edit view to the html view (pane) or vice versa, the views never lose the page position. Very minor but very bad interface issue. With a highlight area, if you change its code, or preview it and back to modify etc., RH should keep you on the same highlighted area.

I'm setting up a bulleted list and I'm finding that the bullet for a level 3 bullet (square) is way too large and it looks completely out of place.  Is there a way I can control the size of the bullets?  

My HTML5 Output Generation is producing in its warning log:"Warning: Favicon undefined is not an image"It does not explain what this means, and much worse, it gives no further detail about the file name involved, and a line number where the problem occurs.That is a nearly useless Warning or Error message. Adobe, please fix ASAP by having every Warning or Error message state: the related file and line number stated as a minimum, and have an explanation of the warning or error somewhere.

I used Robohelp 2022.5.28 to generate the output. While I am unable to use the pinch zoom feature in iOS, there is no issue in Android phones. Is this an OS-specific issue or a Robohelp issue? Please guide. 

RH2022 Is there a way to omit certain sections/parts of a topic from RH's search index?I am looking to speed up my search times. With my current frameless output, I am clocking 10-15 seconds for the search results to appear.  I have already had my devops guys look into the gzip settings on our server - everything is as it should be. I have over 400 individual addon guides included in my web output.  Each guide contains database mapping tables and code samples.  Through testing, I have found that its the long tables and web response examples that I think are choking the search.   If i could prevent RH from indexing those tables, i think overall search performance would be much better.  

Is there a way in RH to quickly see what size font something is?  I’m asking for the equivalent of, like in any other program, if you highlight text and look up at the toolbar, you can see what size font that text is in?  I know that I can click on the source button and read the code, but unfortunately, I’m finding that even though I have a style applied to the text, it’s not reading the right font from the style.  I have removed the formatting and removed the in-line formatting and applied the correct style, but I can tell that it’s being overwritten by something bc the font size is CLEARLY not the size of the font in the style.  I can’t seem to find a way to confirm for 100% what the font size displayed is.  Where can I find that information in Robohelp 2022.  It would actually helpful to be able to look at something and read what font the text is in also.  Same issue, even though the style is applied and the text shows that it is formatted with a s

Robohelp 2022 I have done something to make my styles show NONE on the far right side.  I've been using the same CSS all morning with no problems.  I tried to edit one of the styles and it seemed to go fine, but when I switched over from my CSS to my topic the style pane on the far right switched to NONE.  I opened a different topic and switched to the CSS referred to above and it also says NONE.    Any quick fix on this?  I can pull the backup of the CSS file.  Just curious what happened. 

Is there a downloadable user manual for RH 2022. Need link to download the file from Adobe's site.

Good afternoon. I have Version 2022.5.28 and was wondering if anyone has successfully embedded Storyline output into an iframe. I have followed all the available instructions. Added the entire HTML5 folder to the TOC so it is included in the output. It works in the preview but once published, I get the topic content in the iframe also with the Robohelp site frame around it and no contents in the topic pane.

Hi, please let me know how to remove this blue line (Insert paragraph here) from the master page.This blue line appears on all the pages because it is on the master page. Please let me know to disable this insert paragraph indicator/icon     

I'm trying to remember how to work around the following scenario:I have a numbered list and in the middle of that list, there is a paragraph that isn't a "number", it's just a paragraph (like a NOTE:  follwed by some text).  How can I add my Note and have Robohelp keep in order with the previous list.   See below for example. Good morning all, I am able to update the index layout css but was wondering if anybody succeeded in creating a collapsing / expanding option when outputting. I would like the index to function on the output as it does when the user is setting those keywords in the application.Thank you !Christele

Running RH 2020.1, generating Resonsive HTML5 with Azure_Blue. In my output settings, Enable substring search is disabled (i.e., NOT selected). My project has topics that contain text instances of tc and tcs. These are meaningul text strings for our audience.If I search on tc (no quotes, Include all words in search NOT selected), my search results include topics that have instances of tcs - indeed, it's even displayed and bolded (all 3 chars.) in the results preview. If I search on "tc" (quotes, Include all words in search NOT selected), my search results still include topics that have instances of tcs - however, only the first 2 chars are bold; interestingly, preview inserts a space between the tc and s.If I search on "tc" (quotes, Include all words in search IS selected), my search results are IDENTICAL to the search performed immediately above this one: still include topics that have instances of tcs - however, only the first 2 chars are bold;

I am deeply frustrated with RoboHelp (Version 2022.5.28). For an entire week, I have been reformatting files thinking that my changes were being saved. Just today, I revisited a file that I worked on yesterday, and I noticed that my changes were gone. I don’t know how many days of work I have lost. These are the step to reproduce my problem.Use RoboHelp to open a topic (htm file).Edit the file.To save the document, select File > Save.Close the topic.Re-open the topicThe result is that edits in step 2 are gone. My current workaround is to edit the htm files in Notepad++, which saves htm files reliably. I am tempted to cancel my RoboHelp subscription and just use NotePad++.

Currently, we have word documents in an H:/Drive for our organization that need to be placed in Robohelp as a link to that word document. Whenever I use the word document upload feature, it creates the link, however the word document shows up blank. I know that there has been a bug surrounding word documents I believe. Is there a way to work around this? We also have PDFs that will need to go into Robohelp as well.

Hello!I recently joined a company that still uses RH Classic 2019. I am trying to created Printed Documentation and it is not working. When I start printed documentation, it gets hung up processing files. I pretty much have to force an end task of RH as well as MS Word. I know Classic is out of date, but I'm too new to make any significant changes or consider upgrading - as I don't know how it would affect everything else. So, any troubleshooting thoughts or even reasons why it won't work would be much appreciated. 

RH2022 Update 5 on Mac.  Frameless Output Has anyone encountered an issue with existing frameless TOCs obmitting topics and whole sections randomly after upgrading to Update 5?  After upgrading from RH2022 update 1, I noticed that generating the frameless output (same one we have used for the last 4+ years with RH2020 and then RH2022) leaves out large sections of the TOC. I have double-checked for any conditional tags or comment outs - none.  I have tried rebuilding the entire TOC from scratch and I still hit the issue (one build, part of it appears....click build again, and its gone).   In reviewing the DIFF when the project file was updated for update 5, i see only the presets for the project file were updated so i tried a preset for scratch - same issue.   The build log the frameless is not giving me any errors.  Reviewing the source for the TOCs did not reveal anything out of order.  Its just skipping whole secti

Hi,I am facing an issue while using RoboHelp 2019 Classic to generate WebHelp output. When I add an .mp3 audio file to my topic, the generated output automatically adds a border around the audio player.I tried the following steps to resolve the issue:Modified the HTML code by changing style="border: 1px solid;" to style="border: none;" in the HTML view while authoring.Despite the changes, the border reverts to style="border: 1px solid;" in the generated WebHelp output. It seems like RoboHelp is overriding my changes during the generation process.Has anyone encountered this issue before? Could you suggest an appropriate solution to ensure the border is removed from the audio player in the final WebHelp output? This issue is only with Robohelp Classic version not the Robohelp Reimagined one.

RH 2022.5.28 I've cleaned up a lot of word files to import into RH and I can live with it. Line spacing issues are a problem. I have to manually go into each file and delete the code "line-height: 1.08;" to get the spacing I have set up in my RH css file.How do I get global Search and Replace to work instead of having to go into each Topic's source code and make the deletions there? Thanks  in advance! Below are my settings for the S&R, and I've tried other combinations, but nothing works.  

I am an avid RoboHelp user and have a list of advantages and feature that I love, but another writer who has no RoboHelp experience at our company has been looking into Flare. I am looking for input and/or experiences that anyone has had investigating MadCap Flare or possibly even converted to RoboHelp from it. I see a lot of new features with RoboHelp 9 and the Technical Communications Suite, but don't see a lot of new posts for this version.  Any insights would be appreciated.

Hello all. I've searched through the community and can't seem to find an exact match of my problem, and those that come closest the proposed solutions have not resulted in any progress. Context: received my new work laptop and running RH 2022.3.93 on Win11. II am able to generate Responsive HTML5 documentation, but our internal customers (and some external) prefer working with PDF, so I output both formats. When I go to compile my project to PDF, it fails after a few seconds with the following Error lines in the log file (I've attached a screenshot as well): * Cannot read property 'push' of undefined* Java not found. See if Java 1.8(64-bit) or higher is installed and JAVA_HOME environment variable is also set.* Java installation could not be verified.
