I have an extensive content menu system set up for a help system. When I view the help system in a browser and click on a section title, the section expands. When I click on another section title, that section expands, but the first section does not automatically contract. I want to have the open menu close when I select another section title or topic in another section. I have researched this extensively and cannot find an easy way to make this happen. I would like to do this without having to rewrite the JavaScript code or Skin code used to dynamically produce the help system webpages. I can see no option in the layout settings for Close existing panels when a new one opens , Auto-collapse TOC, or Accordion TOC, and changing accordian settings (KEY_SHOW_ACCORDION) in the code files has no effect.Also changing false to true in the following code has no effect:<drillDownTOC type="boolean">false</drillDownTOC>Could it be that I am using a corrupted frameless skin, or is ther

Hi all, I am using RH 2022.4.179. Here, the setting "include all referenced topics" in PDF or Word output doesn't seem to work. Neither in my project nor in the sample project. If checked, the hyperlinks in the topics stay active but point to some temp directory. The files are not attached to the output as was the case in earlier versions.Also, the tooltip of the info icon next to the setting doesn't show any content any longer.Does anyone else have this issue? I will check in the most current version later on, I have to wait for IT to start up my virtual machine here. Thank you!Karin

I've created RH2022 Frameless output as the context-sensitive help for my Window-based App.  Every time a user accesses a help page from the app it opens as a new tab in Chrome.  This very quickly gets very cluttered.  Is there a setting (in RH2022 or maybe in Chrome) to get it to open in the same page.Sorry if I'm overlooking something blindingly obvious and thanks in advance for any assistance.FYI - this is the help site:  https://leap.sei.org/help

Hi This is a preemptive inquiry, and I'm honestly not sure if I'm making sense with this question. I am currently working on a project with RH2022 that I have broken into a parent-children scenario, saving files to my local OneDrive that I am sharing for another author to work on one of the child projects. I am potentially going to move the project to an Azure server for collaboration (we are currently setting up Azure as our web server for our hosting the frameless output). My question is this: As all of the files are stored on my local, corporate OneDrive directory, I can right-click on images in RH and select Show in Explorer to easily access and modify them--I use this extensively. If the files are all stored on the Azure server, and I don't have access to view the files the same way through File Explorer, will this still work for me?  Thanks in advance for excusing my potentially naive question. 

  Hello anyone knows how i can correct this?   type text select it insert dropdown text en complete with text normal behaviour (editor view) : text becomes italic blue (at least for me, maybe fixed in style sheet)   I have 3 instances open of Robohelp. In one of them, my original word font color is white, for every new item I add. See underscored spaces in the picture herebelow. Not in the other two ones...   When I compile and launch HH.Exe, they show normal, luckily...     thx for your help Olivier

I am having RH2022 image map editing problems. First, the image map editing dialog seemed to work properly. But after few times, the potential list of image map links displayed in the dialog stopped showing ALL bookmarks , and thus were not available to select. I reset the cache per Adobe's instruction /user/appdata/roaming/Adobe/Robohelp .  But this has not helped.1. Anyone encountered image map editing problems?2. Any ideas about dealing with Cache Problems? This could be a one time issue from have 2019 and 2022 on the same machine, and need to get rid of 2019?

I upgraded from Robohelp 2022.3.93 to 2022.5.28 and it said it had to update the project. After doing so I can no longer generate PDFs from my project. I get the following dialog box: ** I replaced the acutal document name with [DocumentName] **Failed to generate [DocumentName] PDF. Check log for more details. The ehtml file shows it make the last page of the content as a .htm and then says:Error: :80:7: Unknown wordError: Failed to generate [DocumentName] PDF. Check log for more details. Then looking in the logs_nnnnnnn.log files it shows the following error: Error in fetching reviews {"error":{"statusCode":404,"message":"{\"reason\":\"not_found\",\"message\":\"The requested resource could not be found\"}"}}Nothing else in the logs_ files looks out of the ordinary.I can also open up the old instance of this project in 2022.3.93 and it creates the PDF files as expected.Additionally I can open up the Adobe Sample project in 2022.5.28 and create the PDF as expected.&n

I have created a Help guide with RoboHelp 2020.8.34 using the Frameless output preset for a piece of software that runs in a hosted instance of FileMaker Pro, but where the Help guide opens in a web browser. I have included a set of map IDs in the generated output and sent it to the developers to integrate into their system. However, the context-sensitive Help is not working as it should. The developers have noticed warnings about missing js.map files, including one for csh-redirect.js.map in the template/scripts location of the RH output. Try as I might, I can't find any way of producing these files in RH. Is this likely to be the cause of the problem? And if so, what must I do to ensure they are present?I believe I have created the Map IDs correctly, but I am only generating the output, not publishing it - is this significant?A current workaround is to use URLs instead of Map IDs, and impose a short (300 ms) delay when calling the CSH anchors, as otherwise the focus moves i

I am working on some release content pages in my Help system (RH2022, release 5.whatever). On these pages, while trying to set up links to other release content pages in the project, everything started moving so slow it became impossible to get anything done. Mouse movements weren't recognized for as much as a minute+, dragging topics to build links took longer, couldn't save  and see immediate (usual) response, couldn't even move the window. Nothing was behaving, even after a reboot of the laptop. Was starting to question the laptop and / or my sanity. Then I went to the Dark Side. In the HTML, where I was trying to work on that release content topic, there were literally HUNDREDS of garbage span tag line entries. Possibly thosands - the HTML Editor refused to build the display in there too. No idea what caused it, but manually editing out all that code (and some of it migrated to the far right as well, so the horizontal cursor had to be used to see all that) on the HTML Edi

So, I've been having this issue for as long as I've been using RoboHelp, and to start with it was fine as I could work around it, but now, given the scale of the docs I've doing it's become a MAJOR obstacle when it comes to sharing information. Basically, if you right click on any mini-toc item and open in a new tab or copy/paste the URL, you get a 404 error, as the URL that is created for the mini-toc seems to be unrelated to the actual page you are on. Has anyone come across this issue? In older versions it would simply re-open the page but not on the mini-toc item (this was back in 2022), but all the latest updates just simply give the 404. Using WIndows 10 RH 2022 latest update, the HTML5 responsive output with Azure Blue:The entire window is not fitting in the windows screen, even in full view, with the bottom of the window going bellow the Task Bar, and this hides the right-side vertical scroll bar end,AND, hides the bottom menu with its single "Scroll Up" button. But when I shink the window to 90% on the browser setting, the view is normal. Here are two images of the situation:

Als ich beim Support nachgefragt habe, meinte sie, wir haben eine unbefristete Lizenz. Mher konnte der Servicemitarbeiter nicht sagen und ich soll hier nachfragen.Jetzt haben wir folgende Fragen: - Ist es möglich, RoboHelp mit neueren Versionen als 2019 weiterhin auch lokal zu nutzen? Wir möchten keine Cloud-Lösung. - Was bedeutet diese unbefristete Lizenz?- Was würde ein Abo überhaupt kosten? Ist das nur in dem Tarif mit "allen Applikationen" dabei? Wir benötigen nur RoboHelp. I am using Azure-Blue skin of RH2022  and the output as is has serious problems as I just noted in other posts. I may need to reset the app or its preferences as this seems a most unsual behavior. In any case, before I spend great amount of time hunting down this problem, I ended up facing other issues where I need to customize this skin, but not using the limited RH 2022 user interface dialog-guided skin customization options. It turns out that for the HTML5 output, RH2022 is copying a file "layout.css" from its own directory and placing it in the template/Azure-Blue directory of the output. So modifying this file, quickly solved a big part of the problem. But, this layout.css file is not in my project directory. How do I add it to my project, as the permenant new skin css? Where do I pace it so that RH 2022 will use it, and not use its own "layout.css" from its own directory?

Using RH2022, switching between edit pane and preview pain is causing loss of page position. This is probably one of the most used features during the editing where a change in the edite view (pane) need to be chacked for display, and a click on the preview item does this, but loses the page position area that I wanted to see, and I have to scroll to find it. When you do this 20 times per hour all day, it gets very tiring. interestingly, switching from the edit view to the html view (pane) or vice versa, the views never lose the page position. Very minor but very bad interface issue. With a highlight area, if you change its code, or preview it and back to modify etc., RH should keep you on the same highlighted area.

I'm setting up a bulleted list and I'm finding that the bullet for a level 3 bullet (square) is way too large and it looks completely out of place.  Is there a way I can control the size of the bullets?  

My HTML5 Output Generation is producing in its warning log:"Warning: Favicon undefined is not an image"It does not explain what this means, and much worse, it gives no further detail about the file name involved, and a line number where the problem occurs.That is a nearly useless Warning or Error message. Adobe, please fix ASAP by having every Warning or Error message state: the related file and line number stated as a minimum, and have an explanation of the warning or error somewhere.

I used Robohelp 2022.5.28 to generate the output. While I am unable to use the pinch zoom feature in iOS, there is no issue in Android phones. Is this an OS-specific issue or a Robohelp issue? Please guide. 

RH2022 Is there a way to omit certain sections/parts of a topic from RH's search index?I am looking to speed up my search times. With my current frameless output, I am clocking 10-15 seconds for the search results to appear.  I have already had my devops guys look into the gzip settings on our server - everything is as it should be. I have over 400 individual addon guides included in my web output.  Each guide contains database mapping tables and code samples.  Through testing, I have found that its the long tables and web response examples that I think are choking the search.   If i could prevent RH from indexing those tables, i think overall search performance would be much better.  

Is there a way in RH to quickly see what size font something is?  I’m asking for the equivalent of, like in any other program, if you highlight text and look up at the toolbar, you can see what size font that text is in?  I know that I can click on the source button and read the code, but unfortunately, I’m finding that even though I have a style applied to the text, it’s not reading the right font from the style.  I have removed the formatting and removed the in-line formatting and applied the correct style, but I can tell that it’s being overwritten by something bc the font size is CLEARLY not the size of the font in the style.  I can’t seem to find a way to confirm for 100% what the font size displayed is.  Where can I find that information in Robohelp 2022.  It would actually helpful to be able to look at something and read what font the text is in also.  Same issue, even though the style is applied and the text shows that it is formatted with a s

Robohelp 2022 I have done something to make my styles show NONE on the far right side.  I've been using the same CSS all morning with no problems.  I tried to edit one of the styles and it seemed to go fine, but when I switched over from my CSS to my topic the style pane on the far right switched to NONE.  I opened a different topic and switched to the CSS referred to above and it also says NONE.    Any quick fix on this?  I can pull the backup of the CSS file.  Just curious what happened.

Good afternoon. I have Version 2022.5.28 and was wondering if anyone has successfully embedded Storyline output into an iframe. I have followed all the available instructions. Added the entire HTML5 folder to the TOC so it is included in the output. It works in the preview but once published, I get the topic content in the iframe also with the Robohelp site frame around it and no contents in the topic pane.
