RoboHelp

I am setting up Content Categories using RoboHelp 2015 (with Indexes, not TOC) and I noticed the order of the entries are based on the order I create them. Is there a way I can control the order in which they display in the dropdown menu? Alphabetically would be perfect. Thanks!

Hi there, On Wednesday I upgraded to the most current version of RH 2019. I believe (not positive) I was using a version two updates back. My issue is that WebHelp never completes. It hangs on "Indexing references" (image attached). I noticed another posted issue (https://community.adobe.com/t5/robohelp/rh-2019-full-upgraded-robohelp-project-fails-to-generate-indexing-references/td-p/11042112?page=1) that perhaps addresses what I'm experiencing. Problem is, if this is the same issue, I have a TON of image maps in my project that would be exceptionally time consuming to remove. Any thoughts? Many thanks!

I am wanting to add a feedback link to the bottom of each topic in our documentation. So something along the lines of 'Was this helpful?' with a yes or no, and if no a text box appears. RoboHelps support website appears to have this type of link, but I have been told via chat it is not possible. Does anyone on this forum know if what I am looking for can be achieved using RoboHelp?

Hi there, We have both RH 2019 and 2017I have been using 2019 for some time now for Responsive HTML5 projects. We have both test and prod servers. Since a couple of days I get an error when I try to publish on the prod server. Publishng on the Test is ok. This is the error "Publishing has been cancelledConnection failed. Please check connection and post again.Native error: The request can be continued" When I open the same proejct with 2017 I can actually publish on the Prod.Has anyone had a similar problem?Thanks in advanceBobby  

does anyone know if Robohelp 2019 compatible to run on Windows 10 version 1909?  The product page just lists it as compatible with Windows 10, but doesn't list any Windows 10 version or release it's compatible with. 

Hi there,  I am very new to Robohelp 2017, but have just run into this problem for the first time. I have edited all of my content, and when I go to click output to responsive HTML, this is how it opens in a browser. I have checked all the settings, but honestly, I'm not sure what I may have clicked to make this happen.  I assume this is a user error, but does anyone know what I am doing wrong? The output was working fine on the same document yesterday. Pictures:  

When you use search or indexes, and you select a topic, the topic is displayed but there is no breadcrumb trail and also the TOC does not expand to show where this topic is in the TOC. This does work in the azure skin.

Hi, Everyone. When I generate output of my TOC, the first 2 tiles reflect the TOC. But then Tile 3 skips ahead in the TOC by 12 topics (and 2 books), to Topic 15.   This TOC seems completely messed up in other ways, too. Most strange of all is that, I initially deleted topics 3 - 15 in an unrelated effort to find a "bad" topic that was preventing me from generating output. After finding the offending topic, I wanted to go back to reintroduce the topics I deleted. Those deleted topics each had a red "x" next to it. I intended to reintroduce each topic that had a red X. But after reintroducing the first of these and pressing ctrl + S,  all the red x's disappeared. Okay...  Those topic titles remained in the TOC, but now with no red X. (See screenshot.)  Maybe their presence is just an empty "shell"; maybe they're not really "there." I generate the output, and, sure enough, the output does not display those topics. Please the Bullets style has changed and doesn't show properly and I tried to edit the style but cannot revert it to the default. It's in the Disc > ul.Disc style. Can you let me know how can I import the default style or the default sepcs to set? 

I have a parent project that consists entirely of placeholders to child projects. The parent project has no content. When I generate the responsive HTML with Indigo I noticed that when you perform a search and select a file from the search results, the file displays, but the breadcrumbs do not. Neither does the TOC expand to show where this file is in the TOC. I generated the output on a single project with content and with no toc placeholders to other projects, and the navigation worked correctly. I am on 2019.0.12, this is a new project, not an upgraded project.   

Hi all, I am trying to create an online help using RoboHelp Classic 2019, but my output needs to be WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) compliant at the AA level.  I saw that Azure Blue, Charcoal Grey and Ocean layouts are 508 compliant, but I need them to be WCAG compliant... So, I was wondering if there is anybody who has managed to have their Responsive HTML5 output (or at least WebHelp) WCAG compliant (AA level)? Would appreciate some tips on how to ensure that compliance. Thanks.

I am using RoboHelp 2019 and generating Responsive HTML5 output. My TOC consists of multiple folders with topics under each folder. When I generate the TOC, I see the folders, but when I expand one folder, the entire TOC tree disappears and I only see the folder/topics I have expanded.   Is is possible to keep the entire TOC tree when expanding a single folder?  (This is the case when generating a CHM.)

I have the Default pane set to "toc" and Show TOC set to "true", however when I generate and view the layout in a desktop screen, the TOC is not open by default, I have to first click on the TOC icon for it to open. I would like to have the TOC open by default when viewing the output.

How do you make sure you are creating a RoboHelp 2019 project in the Classic UI? After creating a project in the new UI, I want to create another project, but in the Classic UI.When I choose "New Project" I don't get an option.

I need to know what topics in a project link to a particular topic.In RH 2019 Classic (and previous versions) I could right click within the topic and select "Link View".That would open a pretty map showing all topic links to and from that topic.I can't find anything equivalent in the new UI. (A bare list would be sufficient.)Thanks.

I would like to add 2 .png files to a topic so that a user can save either or both images to their iPhone or iPad to use. Is it possible to add these files not as the image, but as a file attachment?I currently use RoboHelp2017, version 13.0.3.346.

Adobe tech support has not been able to point me to any documentation or tutorial that I'm not already familiar with.I'm willing to buy a book. Can we open the source of RH 2017 in RH 10? and vice versa?RH 10 gives multiscreen html5 output is that the same as responsive?

HiI did create a video using Captivate 2019, and the options are to insert the video as Video File, YouTube, Vimeo and Adobe Captivate Demo. In my case it is a Video File. By doing so the project size increases. I intend not to increase the project size and to store the videos in a location on a server and play it from there as we click the video file on the doc. Does RH2019 support the above functionality? If yes, may I know how can this be achieved?

When I insert the Field with the date "yyyy" format, it inserts in the HTML the following code:<?rh-variable_start name="date" format="yyyy" showcode="showcode" value="43956.371377" ?>. What value="43956.371377" means? Is it safe to delete it? What role it plays?
