Hi, The CHM file is generated and bundled as a single file in a . CHM form by the RoboHelp tool to work in an application, and in a Frameless output, each help file is available as a separate HTML file.Could someone explain internally within the application how the tagging helps IDs with context-sensitive topics in a CHM and Frameless output is done?

I am using Robohelp Classic 2019 and want to include a link to a PDF form where users can share feedback and then submit it through their Outlook email. What is the best way to do that?

I just started with RH 2022 after a couple of sequential upgrades.Where are the controls for the Track Changes function?

In a web output like Responsive HTML5 or Frameless, is there a way to provide audible feedback to a visually impaired user doing a search in the help file's search tab? For example, have it announce "search started" or "search complete" or "no results." I assume they are using a screen reader in this situation. This is for accessibility or 508 or WCAG. If this does not exist, is there an alternative output or indicator or solution that would comply with these standards?

Is there a way to lock the breadcrumbs from the master page so that when I scroll through the content on the page, the breadcrumbs stay at the top?

Will I need to know HTML5 if I upgrade to RH 2022?  I have been using classic 2019 and do just fine but think we need to upgrade.

I have an background image inserted into the top of my welcome page through the layout assigned to the topic. (The image is actually references in the layout.) When I generate, I always get the message that the image failed to copy.Image in code:<div data-region="Header" style="background-image: url('../images/banner.png');background-size: 100%;background-repeat: no-repeat;background-position: center top">Error I get:Skipped copying external file "c:/Output/SampleProject/images/banner.png"I have added the image to another topic ot make sure it is not labeled as an external file, but I still get the error. The page with the topic shows the image. The Welcome page which should have the same image through the layout that is applied, does not have the image. It shows the rest of the layout though.Windows 10RoboHelp Version 2022.3.93

While the Responsive output is fine, WEBP images are missing from Word and PDF outputs generated by RoboHelp 2022. Replacing WEBP images with PNG in a project solves the issue. Is WEBP not supported in MS Word and PDF output formats or is there some kind of problem?

I have upgraded a RoboHelp 2017 project to RoboHelp 2022. I'm trying to get a webhelp output from the 2022 version. I have generated the required presets etc. Publishing the webhelp gets stuck on rhlog.txt file:I tried pubilishing with the Republish All option so it wouldn't write the rhlog but get an invalid destination path error:I've set Server Type to File System as the help project is local (on my Windows laptop) and not on any external server.  Any ideas what might be the issue or what I'm doing wrong?Thanks in advance!

Hi, I have a template based heavily on RH's Frameless template "Orange" -- seems someone modified Orange to suit their purposes. There are residual Orange elements that my customer needs removed, but the standard approaches are not working (apparently because these elements were 'baked in' the Orange template? Not clear on why). One such element targeted for removal is the 'logo' in the Top Section of the Home Page within the template; I can see it, click on its Properties but those WILL NOT change no matter what I try. They seem cemented into place. Another such target for removal is the 'caption' element also in the Top Section. Same behavior: I can see them, click on them all I want, but I cannot affect any change to them. All ideas gladly accepted and much appreciated.

I am running RH 2019 and suddently my numbered lists are repeating the number to the right of the line. In other words, the list item would show 1. Sentence......   1.  This started to happen after I confined the max -width to 850px. Does anyone know why this is happening? Thanks

Hi,is there a way to exclude portions from a document from machine translation?I want to prevent RH e.g. from translating productnames, code snippets.....if would be nice, to excude text by format is this (or sth similar) possible? Thanks uli

Anyone has a custom Azure_Blue RH 2019 Classic with one or two custom buttons on the function bar to share. I can customize the JavaScript mouse click calls. I would like to email the topic title or URL when a user clicks the button. I had problems upgrading my project from RH 2019 Classic to RH 2019 Reimagined or RH 2020 that have built-in easy solution for adding custom buttons to Azure_Blue.

Hey, all!  Using RH Version 2022.4.179. My organization will eventually need our output (both responsive web and PDF) translated. I'm hoping to gather as much information on this process as I can, which I'm doing by scouring existing resources, but I figured I'd also ask for input here.  Our ideal situation is that we integrate Machine Translation with an existing vendor, possibly SmartLing, with some human input and oversite. Does anyone have experience with this kind of hybrid approach, using both machine translation and some manual oversite? What is your workflow for that? Can you only translate output into the languages listed in the Translation Language dropdown menu? Or are you able to translate beyond that, to say, Urdu or Yiddish? If so, how does that work?Any general advice from your personal experiences with translation services, either machine or manual, and how they interact with RoboHelp? Thanks all! 

Hi, We are currently looking to implement a chatbot in our help system. I can see there is some basic chatbot functionality out of the box with RoboHelp - using micro content for prescribed questions and answers, however, this does not suit our needs as we want a smarter chatbot that can search for the relevant information in our help system and present it to users, regardless of what they type (LLM) Currently, we are looking to develop an LLM ourselves and apply this to our generated HTML5 (Frameless) output from RoboHelp and have encountered a couple of issues. 1) Web scraping only works up to the first subheading in our content - and so only the top paragraph is searched/returned.2) We see a 403 - forbidden error on the first landing page (index) which prevents it from being scraped.  Is there anything particular to the RoboHelp output that could explain these issues? Or anyone who has tried to do something similar who has encountered similar issues? We have

Hello everyone! I'm currently facing a bit of a challenge with non-breaking spaces in RoboHelp 2022, so I wanted to poke the community's collective brains to see if I'm just missing something or if there is a better way to work with this, before I submit any bug or new feature request. Before going any deeper into this, I would just like to mention that I did search this forum and others, and that I am aware that in RoboHelp, non-breaking spaces are to be added using the "insert special character" (the star) menu. Here is the situation : As a Canadian-French writer, I have to manage a lot of non-breaking spaces. I am trying to make in page tab browsing using iframe in Modern RoboHelp.When I add an iframe using Insert HTML Elements, It does not provide a place to insert a name. It has a place to assign an ID. I have to assign a name to the iframe manually in HTML. Hi, my team and I are using the Robohelp (2022.4.179) review functionality to review a number of topics within one of our help systems. Is there an easier way to see which topics have comments other than opening every single one individually and checking? I see when I open the review online there's a notifications tab. However, it always claims my notifications will appear there and they do not. I get notifications in the Creative Cloud that someone has commented, but clicking the link seems to open a web version with an unhelpful file. I get email notifications as well, but they just open the review if I select "View all comments." Thanks!

Is it possible to put a section within a section like the below in the TOC? When I output to a word document it puts the 2 sections at the same level even though they are in a hierarchy in Robohelp.  I'm using 2022.2.22.  

I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. I have a snippet that contains a paragraph and a table.I'd like to bold the header row in the table, but when I select the text and try to bold it, nothing happens. Manually added the <strong> tag to the html doesn't work either. I've looked at the default.css, and I can't spot the issue. Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

I have a client that is using Robohelp 2022. They have built an extensive help system with about 4,500 articles in a complex directory structure. Many of the article have URLs to other websites. They want to export these with a specific format. For example, export to a text file with a delimeter (like a pipe character):Category | Title | Article content here with URL (https://community.adobe.com/) What's the best way to achieve this?

Hi, I want my footer links in the topic page layout to be displayed on a separate browser page instead of opening on the current page. This is just to avoid returning to the topic from the footer link pages. Can someone suggest a way to handle this. Thanks,Anand
