I am working with Multilevel lists in RH 2022.  I've imported a document from Word into RH.  I have created my list style and configured it for 4 levels (3, actually is all that is needed.)  I'm going through my imported file and I'm trying to apply my list style to the parts of the document that need the numbering.  Things are going great in some parts of the document and then in others, I am unable to use the Tab key to move the lines to the next level.  I select the lines that need the numbers applied to them, and select my list style that I created called KEESMultilevelList and then I press Tab because I need it to be a level 2 and nothing happens.  Earlier in this same document, tab works and allows me to move the lines in to the next level.  I've looked at the CSS source code and I have no idea what the hell I'm even looking at.  In addition to this problem, I also have a strange issue where these random paragraph markers appear in my

RoboHelp 2022 (version 2022.2.22). The preview for the Azure Blue skin in the skin editor looks like this (and when I generated it on Tuesday, the output also looked like this): Today, the preview still looks like, but the generated output looks like this: Instead of at the top, the TOC and index buttons are to the side.  The TOC also behaves differently.   I'm not sure what changed between Tuesday and yesterday/today - the output on Tuesday looked like the first screen print, and when I opened a book in the TOC, it still showed all of the TOC books (similar to how it does in frameless and how the TOC behaved in RH2017).  But now when I open a TOC book, it only shows the contents of that book and I have to select a previous folder icon () to get back to view all of the books.  I don't know what happened from one day to the next - yesterday morning I viewed the output before I even opened RoboHelp and it had changed, and no one else works in

RoboHelp 2022 (version 2022.2.22) Experimenting with trying to use a frameless template, and trying to make links behave the same way that they do in our current projects (RH2017).  The projects are all on an intranet site.   External links:When using a frameless template, is there a way to make an external link (usually a topic in another project) appear in the center panel (make it replace the current topic with the external link, still viewing the same TOC and header from the original project)?  If the Same Frame option is selected for the link, in an HTML5 template (and RH2017), the link opens in the same frame and you can still see the toc (and header, etc).  If I select the same frame option in a frameless template, it opens the link in the whole window, so it appears that you are no longer in the same site.  (Which I suppose you're not, but we want it to remain in the frame, or the center panel in frameless, only).  Is that possible?&

Our company logo was in the top right of the PDF output, but it no longer shows there since the update. Furthermore, the appearance and disappearance of the header and footer text is quite erratic. Some pages show no header/footer at all, some only show a header, others only a footer, and some show both, but still without the images. The images *are* visible in the master page itself. I have not changed a single thing on my master page for PDF. It was working perfectly before the update. It took me quite some time to get this working correctly. In about 3 weeks we will need to release the pdf output for this project.  Please Adobe, help. I can't keep spending hours and hours again on things that suddenly break when I need to release actual documents with this software. 

I have created a comprehensive index in RoboHelp Version 2020.7.46 and output it to HTML5 help. In the output, when I click on a keyword, it takes me to the correct topic. When I click on a subkeyword, it shows four boxes looping around eachother in an endless spin. How can I fix this? 

Hello... I am not able to generate a Word or PDF output. It takes so much time to generate even a small project of 15 pages. Sometimes, it generates incomplete output or RH crush.Please help me to resolve this issue. 

In RoboHelp 2022, I am getting display issues while generating my output preset as CHM. I didn't find these problems raised in my previous Robohelp 2015 version. Can someone please help me solve these issues? For example, my topics in the CHM Search tab display "-" symbols inserted, while I don't get the same in the RoboHelp 2015 version.

Hi!We have a question which we need some help on.We have made a couple of Robohelp projects and connected them to a Motherproject.Our question is the do we need a customized template in all the projects or can we only have an customized template in the mother project?It generates a great deal of files, we would like to avoid to many files if there´s a possibility for this. 

I am trying to simulate the language translation process all the way through so I can grasp how all the pieces work together. I've exported my project to xlfs - no problem there. Then I made a small edit to one of the xlfs to simulate the translation. When I attempt to import the xlfs back into the project I never see the test edits. I am opening the translation project not the original untranslated one. I know I've left out a lot of detail here that would probably help in understanding the issue, but not really sure where to begin. Feel like I will not be able to put an actual translated project in place properly. I made the test edit to the xlf using Notepad rather than an XLIFF translation tool so not sure if this could be part of the problem. BTW I'm using RoboHelp 2022.3.93. Thank you.

Hi All, I've been trying to use the 'Collaborate' functionality for the first time in RH (v. 2022.1.188) but I was unsuccessful. I am trying to use Sharepoint as my main repository. I followed the steps that are enlisted in RH Community (https://helpx.adobe.com/it/robohelp/using/sharepoint.html).I'm having issues trying to understand which path to use in the Output Presets (Output Path / Local Path). Whenever I choose a local path, I am not able to generate the project.Anyone having issues using Sharepoint as repository?It would be very useful to find an extensive guide to understand how to collaborate.

Hello.  I'm not sure if this has been asked before; I've found somewhat similar questons but not this exactly.  This is more of an "is this normal/supposed to happen?" question because people have found it a little disconserting. We're converting from RH2017 to 2022, using WebHelp and now Responsive HTML 5. In 2017, our URLs look like this:https://intranet.com/project/   - this is when you first open the site online, and this same URL remains no matter what you select from the TOC https://intranet.com/project/folder_name/abc.htm  - this how a topic url appears if you click the topic from within another topic and it opens in a new tab In 2022, the URLs look like this:https://intranet.com/project/#t=default.htm  - when you first open the site to the default topic https://intranet.com/project/#t=folder_name%2Fabc.htm  - the url changes when you select the abc topic from the TOC (and this can get long depending on t

I'm simply trying to set before and after paragraph spacing to a style that I'm trying to create in RH 2022.  Can someone point me in the right direction?  I don't seem to be finding much online about this?  I am new to Robohelp but I have found information regarding how to do this in Classic version.  Please help.  

Hello, I am working on the translation of a portion of a large project to Spanish. I have been able to successfully use Machine Translation to translate the topics and TOC from English to Spanish. My question is... is there a best practice or process for making small edits to the machine translated text? I am able to make the changes in the translation project and then generate. The output will have the edits. Is there a way to track these for future modifications? Is there a way to export my translated (Spanish) version to XLIFF and then import as a way to perform edits by a non-RoboHelp user (starting with the machine translated text rather than English)?

Hi all,   I use Robohelp 2022 to create help files for my Windows-based desktop app.  With the next version of the App I plan to make the help file available online on a server, rather than using local CHM files.  The help content is sometimes shown embedded in windows within the App itself. The App itself can be switched between light and dark themes.  So a couple of questions:   * Any recommendations on what Robohelp skins to use that would work well with light and dark themes?  * I have only just started using Robohelp 2022 and I'm not yet very familiar with how to customize styles.  I have been using the Responsive HTML5 output so far.  Any thoughts on whether to use that or Frameless? The built in styles seem quite limited, and I'm wondering to what extent I can edit them?  * Is it possible to output a single set of help pages with Robohelp, but switch among light and dark themed skins by having the App point to different

I use RH 2019.0.14. I can successfully generate a PDF, but when I try to publish in Responsive HTML 5 - it gets stuck on indexing attachments. I've created another TOC with no attachments, and it works great. With one attachment, it's fine, but it lags with more than one. Any ideas on how to resolve this? Thanks in advance.  

I am using RH2020 - does anyone know of a way to remove the home page? I would prefer to have my first page be the first topic page.

I am neediing to import several hundred Word files into Robohelp 2022 and the majority of these files have Bulleted list, numbered lists and multilevel lists (75% of the source files I will be importing will containt one or all 3).  I'm the only p erson to work in these source files and I'm the one who setup the list style in Word for the multilevel list and created the styles for the different levels of the bulleted and numbered lists.      For the multilevel list I created a list style in Word called KEES Multilevel List and inside this list style, I set up levels 1 -4 for the number formats and placement  and linked each of thse levels to Word styles that I also created called ParaNum1, ParaNum2, ParaNum3 and ParaNum4.  So, in effect, the list style controls the number alignment and format and the ParaNum1-4 controls the text settings for  after the number and the 2nd line wrap settings for each level.      I've imported a few of the

I am importing a Word file that contains all of the styles that I want to use for my project.  I've also created a css for this project (I called it SampleKEES.css) and a .wsf file (also called SampleKEES.wsf).   I am looking at the instructions from https://www.grainge.org/RoboHelp_Tour/rh2022/authoring/importing_linking.htm for reference on how to do this.  I get the Word file imported so I see the htm file and I see the topic_css that Peter's instructions talk about.  The instructions below say to "cut it fromthere and  paste into your main CSS.  How do I "cut it from there"?  Do I right click on something and choose copy and then go somewhere else and choose paste?  I just don't understand where it's directing me to go and what do when I get there.  This is the part in his instructions that I'm getting stuck (specifically "you can cut it from there and paste into main CSS" in the below paragraph)  Any clarificati

Has anyone found strange code like the following being added to the beginning of a topic in RoboHelp 2022? I cannot pinpoint when this happens, but I notice it when I try to generate a word doc with the topic because it generates an error.  I have seen this at least three of four times since upgrade.
