I want to use PDF files as my help contents. How do I import PDFs?  I have loaded them in my docs, but cannot link in the pages.  I have also tried in the project manager and ado not see prompt like the older Robohelp versions.The only options I get for from the main top menu FILE/IMPORT menu isWordFramemaker|Adobe Captive DemoHTML Markdown fileI do not see another area where I can import, add, copy or past from PDF into a topic or sub topic.Any help woudl be appreciated. All Robohelp help files concerning this topic seem to have the older versions function listed but nothing for Robohelp 2020.I tried to link the documents and that does not work either.Thank you

I have two large batches of html files I'm trying to import into RH 2019. One folder has 680 files, the other has 160.I select all files when importing and RH craps out and maybe 20 files get imported.These html files are clean, nothing but <p> tags coming in so it would be easy to apply RH css styles, once the html files were imorted.Is there a limit to how many html files you can import at once?Thanks for any help!

I'm using RH 2019.0.14 to work on a project created with the latest version of RH.I get a warning message stating that some features may not work ... I can't generate any HTML5 presets.Is there a way around this?Unfortunatley, I'm stuck with RH 2019.0.14 ... sigh ... 😉 

I am using RoboHelp 2015 with a project file that has had no problems in years. Today the Design editor view in the project is showing expanding dropdowns and expanded text (similar to a previewed topic) instead of the usual design view where you click a dropdown or expanding text to see the content. I searched for previsous posts about anything similar to this problem. Appreciate any assistance!

I can't figure out what to do.Everytime I auto-generate a TOC, the files in Contents get arranged alphabetically.What a time waster ...How do I keep my Contents in the order that I want them to be in?Thanks for all help in advance!

In my RoboHelp 2017,  I see the styles that are not available in my stylesheet are displayed. For example, Heading 1, Heading 2, and Heading 3.If I go to my stylesheet, it is Heading1, Heading2, and Heading3. I think these are the default RoboHelp styles.How can I get rid of these styles? Please help.

Hi, our teams uses RoboHelp (2017) for quite a long time now and our projects contain many many topics and also images and are updated regularly (new segments, new images, new topics). From time to time, of course, we replace outdated images with new ones.What we do is: we delete them in the editor of the topic and just save it. However, the images are still existent in the local project folder. We just noticed that, so the simplest workaround (any time you delete an image in RoboHelp, make sure to delete it in the local folder as well) doesn't work.As a result, we have a lot of files in the local project folder which are not needed anymore. How can we delete the images for good? Is there a special setting or workaround?Or maybe, is there a view, pod or any way to see which image files are really used within the project topics (so that we can manually delete all the others)? Gracteful for any hints regarding this issue.Best regardsAnn-Kathrin

I use a lot of indenting. Some of the indenting results from different heading levels, some from drop-down text, and some from a combination of ordered and unordered lists, which are sometimes inside a drop-down section, embedded within a drop-down section.  RoboHelp's UI has a feature that I think is meant to conserve screen space by adjusting the left margin so that it only shows the left-most text at the current level of indentation. When this occurs, I cannot see any of the list level data (e.g., I cannot tell if I am on #3 in an ordered list because the system hides all the list levels) and the system cuts off some of the paragraphs above and/or below the current section if those paragraphs are not indented as much as the current paragraph level.  Because of the levels of indentation I use and the length of some of my help topics, this functionality is often not helpful for me. Questions: Is there a way to disable this functionality? If yes, please let me know

Hi, We are currently using Robohelp Version 2022.3.93 and we have found that there are potential vulnerabilities regarding Jquery version 1.9.1. Is this anything you are familiar with? Do you know if is it possible to upgrade these Jquery files somehow without breaking anything, and if so how would you go about doing so? Thank you.

I am trying to Update RH 2022 Update 1 manually. The update process starts fine, but then I get the following error message. RH Version 2022.3.93Dear Community, would appreciate your help to deal with a wide table viewing in the Review mode. In Chrome and Edge, there is no horizontal scrolling so that one can view a wide table (see the screen)In Firefox, there is a horizontal scrolling but there is no ability to add highlights and other review functions. (see the screen) That's why I currently prefer to use Chrome.Is there a way to cure that? Perhaps there is a trick in RH to make a table fit the window - would be grateful for pointing me to the exact setting Thank you for your help

When my users view my HTML5 online help file, it does not display the Roboto font for some (because they don't have the font installed on their machine). Instead it defaults to a less attractive font. Is there a way to do something with the font where it displays regardless of that circumstance (like embedding the font)?

I am wondering how the RoboHelp algorythum works when the Search function is used. It can serch the contents of topics, like headings, search the Key Words entered in the topic properties and serch using an index. We are having problems with the search function. If we for example enter a key word in the topic properties will it no longer search the headings?

How do I update a prior RH Skin to the new RH Template (both html5)I have read everything I could find on the new RH Template. I could not find how I could update an old RH 2020 customized Skin to a new RH 2022 customized Template.I am now on my fourth attempt to create a new RH Template html5 but changing the attributes in the Template. However, I cannot find find the images I want for previous and next.I saw a question where someone asked how they could nest the stock Templates to pick and choose what they wanted to customize their Template. This seems above my RoboHelp knowledge and skills level.What do you recommend?

Two questions surrounding frameless output favorites (RoboHelp 2022, latest and greatest). 1. How/where are frameless output end user favorites stored - if not browser cookies, how/where? I'd like to provide my end users with guidance on what not to do (e.g., don't delete browser cookies!) so they don't accidentally delete their output-saved/managed favorites. 2. Is it possible to sync frameless output-saved/managed favorites between 2 or more devices via synched browsers. For example, if an end user syncs Chrome for Android on their phone with Chrome for Windows on their desktop PC, is it possible to also sync output saved/managed favorites between the two browsers? If it's possible, does anyone know which browsers it's possible for - specifically, what about Safari, Edge, Firefox, and Chrome? And if it is possible, I assume it's NOT possible for cross-broswer, for example, Chrome < > Edge (between each other), correct?  Appreciate any insight on this. Thanks

When I click Edit | Find In All Files, I get the following: 0 matches in 0 files, even though the searched term is evident across many files. The search does work if I search using the "Find in source view" option, but it doesn't work based on any other option. Any thoughts?Regards,Jeremy. 

Hi,I might be asking an out-of-context query but this is a current requirement in my organization and I am stuck. I am using a Frameless output content and I've hosted the files within the Application. When the user clicks on the Help icon within the Application, the user is redirected to the Web Help. Now, we are looking to implement a mechanism in which User can provide ratings and feedback. Is it possible to do that or any other workaround? How to receive User Feedback. E.g. Not SufficientIrrevalant InformationInaccurate InformationMore infographics/examplesOther (Add Comments)Click the Submit Feedback ButtonMultiple Choice Options 

I can't be the only one thinking about this... Does anyone know of any existing CFL predictions websites or if someone is currently working on a site for RH 2023?

Hi!I have followed and studied the other posts about this problem and have narrowed it down to my Style Sheet CSS. I made a new project and imported my topics into it, removed the style sheet from the topics and got a PDF to output. Great right ! no not for me... I have over 56 topics and the style sheet was just rebuilt last year. The CSS works in my older project file but not in the new. I tried looking for the code that was posted on another discussion to remove it from the style sheet but I do not have that. I am looking for an easier step process to get my working projects Style sheet working again for PDF. It outputs fine from all other outputs, just not the PDF. I am working on a Mac, but the issue is also happens on my co-workers PC. I have not gotten the latest patch on Robohelp as my company's IT has not yet given it to us. Any help to get this resolved would be amazing ! Thank you! 

Using a connection profile, I connected a RoboHelp Project to ADO. Connection seemed good. Closed the file and now it will not open. I changed the parameters within the connection profile and did get the file to open. But, once I closed the file, it never opened again. I believe the files are still good (no dates have changed on the files), what I believe is happening is it is failing to make the connection and erroring out. RoboHelp states that an error occurred and prompts me to manually open the file using the menu, which of course fails. Any advice how to undo the connection? I looked on the ADO side and the coneection parameters seem correct. Any advice would be appreciated.

I have created a Responsive Frameless Skin in RoboHelp 2022.  I cannot figure out how to get my sub books (called sections in RoboHelp 2022) to indent under parent books (called sections in RoboHelp 2022).  Instead all books are aligned left after I generate.  For example, if Folder Two should be under Folder One, how do I modify the skin to ensure it is indented slightly to the right when Folder One is expanded just like Topic One and Topic Two are indended?Thank you!

Hello! I'm creating tutorial documentation (exclusively using the responsive HTML5 output) for a product using RoboHelp and this requires the user to download additional files. However I can find no way to "bundle" these files with the RoboHelp output so that the user can click on a link and download them. It seems like I can only add very specific file types to the assets folder from within RoboHelp, and when I manually add the files I require - while they do appear in the Contents list - any links to them in the HTML don't work and on inspecting the output files, it appears that these assets are not being included when the responsive HTML is being generated. Is it at all possible to have the files included with the HTML assets and have the user download them? Or am I going to have to simply host them externally and then link to them that way (which I'd like to avoid if possible). 

Using RH 2022.3.93 on Windows 11.Recently upgraded (from RH 2019) and the text marked as a bookmark is now underlined, but wasn't in RH19. So, when I generate a PDF, the text looks like it has a hyperlink associated with it. I have hundreds of these, so how do I remove the underline from a bookmark?For example:<h4><a id="Modify_Parameters" name="Modify_Parameters">Modify Parameters</a></h4>This is an example of a bookmark that shows up in PDF as underlined:Modify Parameters Why and how do I get rid of these fake underlines?
