RoboHelp 2020.5 (Win).Responsive HTML5 and Frameless outputs. Looking for a complete list of ALL special characters supported - and those not supported - for RoboHelp output search (via the RoboHelp output "Add special characters for search" setting). Specifically, which of the following characters are supported, and which are not:~!@#$%^&*()_+`1234567890-={}|[]\:";'<>?,./ 

In RH 10 our context sensative pages correctly displayed full sceen without the TOC pane. In v20, however, the text scrolls improperly at the top. The problem is fixed if you click to view the TOC and click again to view text in full screen. Has anyone has this problem?

Hi all,I am using RH 2020.6.76 new UI. I created a NEW frameless skin (based on Orange with customizations). Then I exported this skin to my desktop. When I try to import it into another project, I get the following error message:ErrorImporting skin from different RoboHelp version is not supported. Upgrade the skin to current RoboHelp version and try again. This problem does also occur when I create a new HTML5 skin and try to export - import this.It does however NOT occur when I export - import an HTML5 skin that I have created with a previous version of RH.Has anyone else seen this behaviour? Am I doing something wrong?Thanks in advance,Karin

I can usually find the icon images  in publish > skins > project name.  The icon image files are available in the Studio frameless skin material; they are missing in the Orange frameless skin material. Are they stored differently? They appear just fine in the output. Marketing has asked me to change the colors of them. I need to find their source location..

Hello,  I'm having difficulty with creating hyperlinks between multiple child projects. There doesnt seem to be a common issue. It's just happening randomly. I can create the hyperlink BUT I am not able to check it in and sometimes I get the Application Error message in the corner asking me to restart Robohelp.    When I restart, I am still unable to check in the links.    Has anyone had this problem before? 

Glossary items are not appearing as they should in the frameless output. When I set the Glossary Style of the output presets to Tooltip, the term completely disappears from the body text.  Here's an example: Transportation Management System () is a software programThe "TMS" is missing from within the parentheses. When I set the Glossary Style to Expanding Text, the term appears within the parentheses, but there is no expanding text to define it.   I do not notice this issue with the Responsive HTML5 output.  I noticed these issues before I updated to 6.76 and thought the update would address the issue.  It did not.  Is anyone else experiencing the same? 

Here's hoping someone else either knows how to fix the following, or what's causing it at least. Every time I create a new topic or folder, it doesn't appear in the list of contents until I either close & reopen RoboHelp or restart it from the menu. I've tried deleting the .rh folder while RoboHelp is closed, then opening the project again, but no dice. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Overarching question - what's the ETA on update 7 availability? While onboarding a fellow employee, he installed RH 2020.6. Our other staff are intentionally running 2020.5 to avoid the merged output string search issue in 2020.6 (reportedly resolved in the upcoming 2020.7). All our RH projects are shared via Git repos. Now, we get version compatibility warnings when working in a project. Other than the warning message, it appears that RH works - both project work in RH and generated output. We've generated and updated a few child outputs in a user-facing enviro (before we identified this issue), and string search still appears to work. We have NOT generated and updated the parent output. I'm guessing that we'll be okay so long as my co-worker doesn't generate and update the parent output with his 2020.6.  Trying to determine the best, immediate, course of action regarding the mixed enviro:Option 1: Wait for 2020.7 to get everyone on the same verison. When I click a TOC topic item, the topic loads and the breadcrumbs reflect the trail for that topic.  When I click a TOC folder item to open the folder, the breadcrumbs change in the current topic.  That's somewhat confusing.  I would think that clicking a folder item to open the folder would not alter the breadcrumb for the currently loaded topic.  I expected the breadcrumbs to load when the relevant otpic loads. As anyone else noticed this?  

Ok, ok, I'm an idiot. Several months ago I had to convert from VS Source Control to Git. I am really not technical so followed the RH instructions on how to create a new connection in Collaborate. I got several errors saying unable to connect, worked on it and then all of a sudden it said it was connected. I then committed my project at least once per day. Then my computer crashed, Missing Operating System. Got a new laptop, reinstalled RH and reconnected to Git, again with some errors saying unable to connect and then again it says it was connected. When I tried to recover my data from my repo in Git, the message says cloning repo, there's nothing in the local folder and the message says unavailable project. If I try to open the connection again, the error message is The local path already contains a repository. Cannot clone from remote url.  First, what happened to my project, why wasn't it committed/saved to the repo in Git? Why wasn't there any error message if it wa

When we upgraded from RH 2017 to RH2020, the upgraded 2020 CSS had paragraph styles with a p.rl prefix, for example p.rl-P-CRSBullet01. These styles seem to be duplicates of styles that we set up for the project.  The RH2017 stylesheet didn't show these. They clutter up our stylesheet and I would like to get rid of them. What are these p.rl styles for and can I delete them from the stylesheet? Thanks

Hello, I was going to start Rh in the new year again to continue my 30 day try out. I've activated the account on December 17. If I now start Rh I cannot access the application. The menu bar is active but opening a project won't do anything. Same to the splash screen seen below. Hi Everyone. Some pages in the output have a mysterious white space at the bottom -- between the last line of text and the browse buttons (see Screenshot A). We'd like there to instead be only minimal space there, as in Screenshot B. This is in Oceanic (frameless), RH 2020.6.76. There's nothing I can see in either the page editor or my Master Page that would explain the larger white space. Thank you for any help!  SCREENSHOT A SCREENSHOT B

During the security scan, we found many js files generated by Robohelp in output folder (SSL) do not have copyright information.Please let us know how to solve this.Thanks,Arpana

Hi Everyone. In RH 2020.6.76, I'm viewing new output in two ways:  from my C-drive and from SharePoint Online. Output from my C-drive looks perfect. Output published to SharePoint Online is showing some changes but not others. (Please see two screenshots.)  Any troubleshooting suggestions?  Thank you! ----------------------------------------------------------     

How do i view the .aspx after uploading Sharepoint generated output from Robohelp 2019 (update 9) to Document Library on sharepoint online site?  The project generates the output just fine (creating aspx files).  I then manually upload to Document Library.  But when i click on the index.aspx, the browser downloads and prompts to open, versus running the aspx inline within the site.  I'm fairly new to Sharepoint so i'm sure i'm missing a step.  Any help much appreciated!

According to Adobe's Log4j information page RoboHelp is not impacted by the Log4j issue. Does that mean all versions of RoboHelp are ok and not impacted by the issue? My organization is running RoboHelp 10 (Client-Server.)

In the FORMAT TEXT section of this adobe documentation page:https://helpx.adobe.com/robohelp/using/format-content.htmlit says "To format text, click the 'Font' drop-down section. " in the Content Properties panel. But, if I select some text in the topic, I only see an "Attributes" section in the Content Properties panel. There is no Font section. My goal is to be able to select some text, and make it bold, or change the text size, on the fly. BTW, control+B works and makes the selected text bold, but looking for a way to do things like this in the Content Properties panel.

Hi,Just kicking off my first WebHelp project in RoboHelp 8. I'm putting together some corporate skins and style sheets and everything is fine apart from my glossary words. They use a hyperlink style not the glossary term style I have set up, even when I change the style to glossary it seems to just use hyperlink style.Driving me nuts - Any help out there appreciated.RegardsNick.

I have tried 2x of OS Windows 11 to install robohelp 2019 and both times had to reinstall the entire operating system.Does anyone have the same experience or know the cause?

Hello! Bit confused as to whether this is an issue or not. After generating my output, I go to publish and after a few seconds of publishing a message pops up, saying "[Publishing ProfileName]: Invalid destination path." However, when I check the published output, it looks like it successfully published the updated version of the output (i.e. all changes made before generation/publish are present); I checked the path and re-selected the upload location, but am still receiving the error message. So far, there hasn't been any noticeable consequences, but it's a bit annoying and I don't want any issues to crop up later. Anyone know why this is happening (or how to make it stop)? Additionally: this is not an error message resulting from the publishing and generation destination being the same. These are different paths, and this hasn't been an issue for other projects published to the same network. Thanks for any insight to this!

I am working on creating a new style sheet for an existing project. I want to clean up our current list of styles and make sure I recreate only the styles we actually use. Is there any way in RoboHelp to see what styles are used in a project? A list of topics where it is used would be great, but even just a yes/no result would be awesome.
