Description of the Issue:
When editing in Premiere Pro, I use the "Replace with After Effects Composition" feature on a piece of footage. After Effects opens and allows me to make changes with no issue. However, when I try to switch back to Premiere, or click outside of After Effects (e.g., to the desktop, browser, or any other window), my entire computer either crashes or freezes for 3–4 minutes before displaying an error message and crashing the Adobe application.
This crash has occurred 100% of the time when using Dynamic Link for the past two months. I’ve created a complicated and slow workaround, but due to the volume of work I produce, I’d really like to find a proper fix.
