Hi there,

Thanks for writing in. I tried on my end but the mask stays aligned every time. Could you share the steps to reproduce the issue? The version of After Effects and Premiere Pro and your system specs (CPU, GPU, RAM, OS version)?

We're here to help, just need more info.

Thanks,

Nishu

You may want to consider doing your keying and masking in AE to simplify things.

I have the mask (Horizontally Flipped in Premiere, In AE it is not hotizontally flipped i need to apply it again with the keying as well for the green screen(is it normal? DO I really need to apply the keying again everytime and the flip?) but whenever i try to flip it, it doesn't do it like in Premere)

Steps:

Ok apparently this did the trick:

Do i really need to do this every time though? Isn't AE capable of maintaining the same positions if i change them in Premiere?

Hi @SorinStefan

This seems super suspicious. I'm happy there is a workaround, but agreed that AE should honor your layout in PR when converting to an AE Comp. Something is awry and I'd love to help figure out what that is.

Can you please collect the dependencies and share your project with me?

Pkease feel free to send it to me via DM if there is proprietary info you don't want to share publically.

Also, I notice you are on 2023 PR and AE.

Can you please install the latest versions of both apps, 25.x, and tell me if the problem is resolved in the latest builds?

Thanks,

- Dacia Saenz, AE Engineering Team
