Stop releasing new versions of After Effects until you can make one that works properly

Clearly the annual release cyclce is too much for the team.  There are bugs that have persisted for at least the 11 years I've been using AE, we request new features that never get implemented, all we get is a slower version each year.  I update because I HAVE to (as clients I work with are always on the latest version), but I do so with a sigh, like "I wonder what they've broken this time".   For personal projects I'm several versions back - closer to when it worked (but not quite)

Wouldn't that be wonderful instead of getting dysfunctional updates every cycle? Not gonna happen, though.

I'd more likely recommend After Effects to others if it was like:

AE 2024
New features:
0

Fixed:
1. All the UX and UI issues
2. AE rendering issues

3. Stability and efficiency issues.
