Bridge 16.0.1.18 corrupts Lumix HIF/HEIF Files when given a Rating (Stars and Colors)

I switched my Panasonic Lumix S1II Camera to the HEIF file system, and when I rate these images in Bridge, the thumbnail disappears and the file is no longer readable in any other program.

 

Iam running Mac OS 26.2 and Bridge 16.0.1.18.

The Lumix Camera is on the newest software update and a model from last year.
