Hi,I installed Fresco on my new PC (Windows 11, NVIDIA RTX 5080 GPU with the latest Studio driver). The hardware is state-of-the-art.I’m running Fresco 5.7.0. When I launch Fresco and try to create a canvas, Fresco crashes without warning. Uninstalling it sometimes fails, but occasionally works. The same goes for reinstalling it.I have no idea what’s going on. Thanks for any info
Apple Pencil Pro used to allow changing of color and size along with previous brushes with barrel squeeze. It doesn't anymore. Now it’s just last brushes. The feature I used least. Why was it taken away and is there a way of restoring it?
Hello,I am looking for information regarding Adobe Fresco version 7.7 for Windows. I use the app daily for my digital art and anime drawings.Could anyone please update me on when this version (7.7) will be officially released for Windows users? I would also love to know if there are any specific features or performance updates included for the desktop version.Thank you!
I recently downloaded and installed Adobe Fresco. I noticed that only some of the brushes (for example, the Basic brushes) would work just fine while others (like the Painting brushes) would either barely show up or not at all. I already adjusted the pressure, uninstalled then reinstalled the app, charged both iPad and Pencil, made sure the tip on the Pencil is tighten, and I even tried to see if my Apple Pencil would work on other apps and I didn’t have a problem using my note app for this. I may have to switch to Procreate if this continues.
I logged in to Adobe Fresco today, for the first time in ages. All the work I’ve ever done has disappeared. I can see from comments this is a recurring issue. Has there been any fixes or are we to just accept that anything we’ve done is list and the app is not fit for purpose?
I try to animate in fresco, I’m pretty bad at it and I’m wondering if adobe animate would be better for a beginner.
Hello dear Adobe Fresco team. First of all want to say thank you for such a brilliant app. It’s very good, stable and functional. I love to create a concept sketches for my industrial design projects. There was an app of Autodesk called Sketchbook Designer. Then they decided to stop support for this app and created Sketchbook Pro - an illustration app. It was not just a renaming they removed some features of Designer edition. I miss one important feature and hope you can implement it on my lovely Fresco. It is the ability of basic editing of path after it was drawn. Let me explain it by steps.I draw a freehand curve. Hold the tablet pen and Fresco automatically smooths it. Great. But it’s not editible when i release pen. What Sketchbook Designer could do? It was able to edit the curve after releasing of the pen nib.I will add a link to youtube video showcasing this feature. Please. Please. Please. Consider this feature in future updates. It will fireup the creative direction of Fresco
Can we add brushes that can make drawings like this? Because the sketch pencils we have aren’t solid and fades .Not mine btw
Just like the title says. My workflow used to be create art in Fresco, then go to Publish and Export, then to Capture Pattern, and when I opened Capture I could use the art to make patterns. All of a sudden after the most recent update, both of those links are gone, there’s an Export to Illustrator and Behance, but no way to “capture pattern” anymore.Did it move or get renamed? This is the one thing I really need to make my workflow operate.iPad Pro 12.9 up to date.help!
Hi friends, suddenly several of the eraser brushes stopped working for me. Some are still fine, but several of them just don’t work at all — and this only happens on pixel layers. For example, the issue occurs with the basic Eraser brush, as well as with “Opacity of Circular Defined” and “Opacity of Circular Diffuse”. I’ve checked the settings, closed Fresco, deleted it from the iPad, reinstalled it — I’ve tried everything. Does anyone have any idea what might be going on? Thanks a lot.
Adobe Fresco iPad – PDF Export Distorts TextI am experiencing a serious export problem in Adobe Fresco on iPad.My text looks completely correct within my Fresco documents. However, when I export the document as a PDF, the text becomes distorted.I have tested multiple documents, including older Fresco files that previously exported correctly. Both my old and newly created files now experience the same problem, which makes me believe this may be related to a recent Fresco update or change to the PDF export process.I have also tested other export formats: JPEG: text appears correct. PNG: text/artwork becomes blurry, even when using the highest available resolution. PSD: the exported file is also blurry. PDF: artwork may be present, but the text becomes distorted. Changing the font does not resolve the PDF distortion. The same Fresco files did not have this problem previously.Could the Fresco team please investigate whether there is currently a PDF export/rendering bug? I would als
Hi! I tried clicking into one of my files to continue drawing, but it wasn’t able to load up. An error message popped up saying “unsupported file type.” I created that canvas in fresco, opened and closed it multiple times, and didn’t upload any pictures or such that would cause this problem. The file just changed out of nowhere and now I can’t access it anymore. is there anything that can be done? Some more detail: I was in the middle of drawing when the “insufficient iPad storage” tab popped up, so I switched my tab to go clear some up. When I clicked back on fresco, instead of opening up to the canvas, it opened up to the Home Screen with the “new updates” pop-up. After that, the “file not supported” message showed up when I tried to get into the drawing again. Please help.
I really like the feeling of drawing in Fresco (although it lacks a lot of features and forces you to stay online whether you want to or not). But the most annoying thing about Fresco is that the iOS version has a lot of features that are not in the Windows version. And it’s not a matter of months—it’s years behind the iOS version.
Just roll it back.
Just saw the new update where they added some "zen coloring pages" and in the "what´s coming" sections now they listed only "painting and drawing challenges"... removing all the previous promises for tool improvements.Like seriously? So instead of improving and adding features that artists have been begging for for years and years (like gradients, more vector brushes, cmyk, etc.) - they are converting Adobe Fresco now into a children´s doodling app... or am I the only one who is seeing something wrong here?
The newest version of fresco is now frustrating me and messing up my work flow. I can no longer make an image in photoshop to then open in fresco and move the image off canvas to draw from. anytime I move a photoshop image off canvas it crops it and deletes itI would have to keep the image on the canvas, shrinking it to keep it visible. While drawing. It's very frustrating. Why change this great feature?!?
This is already the second time I'm coming to complain about this. And I'm starting to get angry because the last time I didn't get a response either. I downloaded more brushes from the library and one day they all just disappeared, I tried to reinstall them and they wouldn't download no matter how long I waited. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it, then I was able to reinstall the brushes, I spent a whole day setting up the brushes I had before. Today I opened the app again and they all disappeared again!!! And once again I can't install them!! If every time I want to use the app I have to keep uninstalling and reinstalling, it's useless to me. The worst part is that in my settings I had hidden the marker brushes, and that setting is still there even though the library brushes have completely disappeared, so obviously the problem is with all the library brushes. I already checked the synchronization, I already checked the app version because I literally had to reinstall it this w
Come on Adobe. It's 2023, how do you not have android compatibility yet?
Hi,I’ve been using Fresco a lot lately (vector brushes/Fresco iPad), and I’ve noticed a weird freezing issue that happens intermittently: after a few actions in the app (in my case it was anything from drawing strokes, using the trim segment shortcut, using the undo/redo function, duplicating a layer, filling a shape, etc), the app freezes for a few seconds, and then goes back to normal. I’m not sure if this freezing issue is time based or action-count based, but it happens like clockwork, and closing and relaunching the app or rebooting the iPad doesn’t help.At first I thought it was my iPad getting old, but I recently upgraded to a 2025 iPad Pro/1tb and it still happens exactly the same. Then I thought maybe it had something to do with background cloud syncing, but putting the iPad in airplane mode didn’t solve it either. so I’m not sure if there’s an autosave function interfering, or if it has to do with the vector brush engine taking up too much resources, or something else?Anyone n
Have been using Adobe Fresco on the iPad for years without a problem. Now experiencing problems moving and grouping layers. With the Layers Panel accessed, I usually tap and hold the layer I want to move and drag it to the desired position in the layer stack. Alternatively, to group, I hold the layer and drag it to the group or layer to be grouped with. This simple and fundamental function no longer works for me. Tapping and holding the layer highlights the layer I want to move but it won't move and just jumps back to it's starting position. Grouping doesn't work either. I have recently updated to iOS26 and wonder if there is an issue here. Is anyone else experiencing this? I have tried re-installing the app but this has made no difference. Frustrating as I can't complete any projects without this core function and will need to find an alternative in the meantime.
Hi,For the past three days, I’ve been experiencing a serious issue with Adobe Fresco. Some of my existing Fresco documents suddenly stop opening and I get the following error:“Format not supported. The document does not appear to be a valid PSD file.”The files were created and edited in Fresco and worked normally before.I have found a temporary workaround, but I have to repeat it every time. I duplicate the affected document, make the copy available only in cloud storage, then download it again and open it. After doing this, the document opens normally and I can continue working in it.However, once I close the document and try to open it again later, the same error appears. I then have to repeat the entire process again — duplicate the document, make it cloud-only, download it again, and reopen it.This has been happening repeatedly for the past three days and is seriously disrupting my work.I also want to mention a separate issue with the recent Fresco update. My workflow for transferr
Hello, I'm dealing with this problem for quite a long time. Partially found out a work around, however that is not ideal and only possible temporarily.SYSTEM SPECIFICATIONS:Samsung Galaxy Book3 360Windows 11 Enterprise (10.0, build 26100)Intel i7-1360P CPU16GB RAMIntel Iris Xe GPUPROBLEM:While using Adobe Fresco with version 5.5.5 (also tested on 5.5.0), I'm experiencing constant crashing of software. The crash always happen during drawing and rotating canvas. There are no error messages for troubleshooting. Fresco freeze for a bit and then crash. This started with the new Windows update to version 24H2 which unfortunately forced itself on a computer.WORKAROUND (no longer possible):I have managed to revert the Windows update to 23H2 which seems to fix the problem, however this is no longer possible and won't be possible as Windows force its major updates on a computers.WHAT I HAVE TRIED SO FAR:Updated GPU drivers - no change, keep crashing.Updated Windows to latest version - no change,

Even holding the machine I can feel how hot it gets. The machine is able to run modern games without overheating, but Fresco seems to quickly push it into possible danger and unless I am almost always checking how hot the case is getting I can’t tell or am unaware until it begins to lag. How can I fix this overheating issu
I’ve used Adobe Fresco ever since Adobe discontinued my original vector drawing program Adobe Illustrator Draw back in July of 2021. The transition was smooth enough but Fresco still is missing features that Illustrator Draw had. Despite those missing features, I haven’t run into any problems with the app up until the most recent updates. I’ve always saved my files locally within the app and have never had to buy more space. My Creative Cloud storage has always been 0 GB no problem. Recently however, my local files seem to be stuck in a sync loop. Any projects I create I’m unable to rename, reorganize, or delete as it keeps giving an error that I can only do these actions till after synching is complete. Even if I open just a blank document, I can’t delete it or rename it without the sync error popping up. I’ve tried to sign out and sign back in to be Adobe account to no avail. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app which only resulted in me losing all of my most recent local
