Lightroom Classic

I’m on a mac powerbook, Sequoia 15.8, and LRC 15.6, and using Epson Surecolor P800 printerAll was working fine. Then, suddenly I find that there is a smaller canvas in the print module where my image is displayed, rather than the full canvas screen it should be. I have tried multiple things to fix: removing the custom printer plist, re-installing the print driver, removing and re-adding the printer. Nothing is fixing the problem. 

Can anyone explain me why we need to wait so, so long time and still do not have camera matching profiles for Sony A7V and A7RVI? A7V was released nearly one year ago, and even the latest major version Lightroom Classic 16 does not have support for the cameras. It’s a total embarrassment for Adobe and a major inconvenience for paying customers. I understand that preparing profiles takes some time, but my patience is wearing thin. I honestly don’t understand it, and Adobe’s silence certainly doesn’t help matters.

Ironically so many ways to find photos in Lightroom Classic except for missing file references. I finally took time to clean up some photos on one computer but then of course I go to the other one and the files are missing. There is no way to clean up those references for that specific folder. Lightroom only lists ALL photos with missing files! I have a reason for needing to do this. I’m not a robot built with AI… Its such an easy filter that COULD HAVE BEEN ADDED!!! 

I have spent a lot of time recently going through hundreds of past images adding keywords.On thing I find really annoying is that it is far too easy to accidentally click on the arrow to the right of an existing keyword in the list. When that happens it enables a filter that shows photos containing that keyword.I have been unable to find a way to ‘undo’ the filtering operation that restores the main window to the original batch of images I was working on. ‘Ctrl-Z’ does not work. Instead I have to completely disable filtering (using ‘Ctrl-L’ or similar). Then I have to try and find the batch of images I was working on by scrolling down the Navigator pane on the left hand side.Is there a better solution?

Lightroom Classic won’t use my Intel Arc 140V GPU. System Info always shows Init State: GPU disconnected and GPUDeviceEnabled: false, and there is no “DirectX:” line under Graphics Processor Info at all.On the same machine with the same driver, Photoshop / Adobe Camera Raw detects the Arc 140V and uses it with no problems. I don’t know what I did but color overlays no longer appear automatically when creating a mask. I have to click the “show overlay” box. When I make the next mask the box is unchecked again. Previously the mask would automatically show and I’d have to uncheck if I didn’t want to see the colored area.I’m sure this is an easy fix but haven’t found the answer searching Google. I haven’t changed any of my settings so I suspect I unwittingly  hit a key combo. How do I  to get back to showing the color overlay by default?

Windows 11, latest Nvidia studio driver, latest Lightroom Classic version. AMD 5800X, Nvidia 4070TI. The program has started to hang on launch. It launches as a background app in Windows task manager, and next to whatever Catalog I have asked it to open it will create the usual companion files:CatalogName.lrcat-shm CatalogName.lrcat-wal CatalogName.lrcat-lock Nothing happens no matter how long I leave it. I have to kill the task, and those 3 files remain. Even though I have Lightroom set to prompt me to select a catalog every time it starts up, no matter what I try it keeps trying to open the catalog it failed to open every time it starts, even if I start it by clicking and entirely different .lrcat file.The *only* way to get the program to launch at all - even after rebooting Windows - is to remove/rename the .lrcat file it is looking for, and then it will start as normal, get to the splash screen, and create a new empty catalog with CatalogName.lrcat.  From there, I can get the progr

Request for additional feature, or update of current feature, as Auto (Automatically straighten the photo) is not aligning angle for each of selected photos even if Auto sync option is enabled. Auto sync option apply same angle to all photos. Solutions Within Transformation (like Level) never return as good results.Alternative - offer a keyboard shortcut for this feature.This would drastically change work flow for many of action photographers with fast changing scenes.
