The June 2026 update to Lightroom Classic (v15.4) adds a new Faces panel for people-focused culling, automatic duplicate detection, keyword sync across the Lightroom ecosystem, and more precise subject selection when masking. These updates help photographers handle large shoots and organize catalogs with less manual effort. What’s NewLightroom Classic v15.4 is built to help you move through large shoots with more speed and confidence. The new Faces panel in Assisted Culling brings a people-first approach to selection, surfacing Eye Focus and Eyes Open scores so you can instantly identify your best frames. New auto duplicate detection scans your catalog for exact matches and neatly groups them into stacks, making cleanup far less manual. Masking also gets a boost with more precise subject detection, helping you separate subjects from complex backgrounds with cleaner, faster results. On the organization side, AI-powered metadata filters and Smart Collections make it easier to sort, find,
When presented with a New Post screen in the Adobe Community, you are given three options for Conversation Type: Discussion, Bug, and Idea. If you were searching in Discussions, the New Post window will default to Discussions. If you are searching in Bugs, the New Post window will default to Bugs and likewise for Ideas. Many customers instinctually report problems they are experiencing as “Bugs”. It is natural to think that a problem you are having might be a bug. A bug is defined, for our purposes, as “something in the software that is not functioning as it was designed to function”. Interpreting whether a behavior is a bug or not is not always easy, however. Here are some reasons why you might want to consider posting first to Discussions rather than jumping straight to reporting in Bugs: Most items reported as Bugs are not actual bugs. In a typical group of reported bugs, only about 3 out of 25* bugs reported turn out to be actual bugs. Of those, typically 2 ou
Bugs should only be reported for the latest or current version of Lightroom Classic. If you believe you have a bug, it must be verified on the latest version of Classic. New bug reports will not be accepted for older versions of the software. If you believe you have encountered a bug, it is important to first search the existing bugs to see if your issue and a possible solution or workaround have already been reported. If so, please add to that thread. If not, it may be prudent to start a new thread.Greater than 90% of the bugs reported are not actually bugs. Before starting a new thread, please read:P: Do I post in Discussions or Bugs? When logging a new bug report, it's required by the Lightroom Classic team for the information in the report to include steps to reproduce the bug experience. Once we can reproduce an issue, then we can start to investigate a fix. Bug reports without reproduction steps will be moved to discussions. If, after some troubleshooti
Adobe is excited to receive requests for additional features you need to enhance your workflow. What can you do to increase the chances of being heard? Don't use the words "Feature Request" in your post's title. Search for and add to existing feature requests rather than creating duplicates. There is no advantage to creating a second request for any existing feature request. One request per thread! When creating an Idea or Feature Request thread, please keep requests for features to ONE request per thread. Doing this will allow others to vote on a single, specific feature and not confuse Upvotes amongst a list of feature requests. If an Idea thread has multiple requests in it, a moderator may ask you to split the multiple requests up into multiple threads so others can vote. In the event there remain multiple requests on a thread, the first item requested will be the arbiter of where the thread will be cross-referenced or merged. Describe how the featu
I import CR3 files in daily directories into my catalog. I process the CR3 files then export them converting them to JPG I then import the JPG files to put back into the daily directory they came from and to keyword them. The counters on all the directories are set to zero after this import. I have to exit and restart Lightroom to get the counters reset to their actual number of files in each folder. If I delete the CR3's as no longer necessary the counter goes negative by the number of photos removed.

Lightroom Classic v 15.4 backup attempt results in progress reporter showing “Checking catalog integrity → Copying catalog → Compressing catalog backup,” then reports “Lightroom was unable to back up the catalog named “Lr6 Catalog-v15-4”. I’d love to see Adobe introduce AI-powered keywording in Lightroom. With several AI features already added, AI keyword generation feels like the next logical step.I have a relatively small catalog of around 8,000 images, yet keywording is still by far the most time-consuming part of my workflow. I haven’t found another Lightroom task that takes as much time and effort. An AI feature that could automatically suggest accurate keywords would make organising photo libraries much more efficient, allowing photographers to spend less time managing catalogs and more time editing, sharing, and enjoying their images. Is AI keywording something Adobe is actively considering for a future release? I’m sure many Lightroom users would find it a valuable addition.
When I want to skip through hundreds or thousands of photos in Lightroom Classic (Version 15.0.1) in the film strip I mostly get this very annoying problem: after holding the arrow key to the right or left for a few seconds it doesn't stop anymore to speed through the images though I'm no more holding the arrow key. Sometimes it's going on for "just" a couple of hundred further photos and sometimes even through thousands of photos until the very last photo in the strip. I can't even stop it.This first started three months ago when I updated on a new MacBook. On my old Macbook this never happened in years. Does someone got an Idea to fix this bug?
Cerrar y volver a iniciar sesión. Muchas gracias.
Lightroom bug - hit a folder limit and unable to select the newly imported folder.452497 photographs across many drives in one catalog. The S drive has 214341 photos. It's the largest drive and so had many more folders than the previous drives.S:\Master Photos\ contains ~1633 folders. I know that's a lot but that is how her filing system was started. Those are the sequential numbers from 2220 - 3853 but there may be a sub folder or two or deleted folder in there so that's why the number is ~ approximate.Folders are labeled "sequential number"-"date" so 3853-20150316Adding one more folder caused Lightroom 4 to not allow the last folder to be clicked on and not show any images. The T:\ drive (offline, collapsed and below the S:\ drive) was collapsed and the label was overlaid on top of the "Collections" section label. Updated to latest version of Lightroom 5 via her new cloud account, had it rebuild the catalog and the same problem occurred.Created a sub folder S:\Master Photos\2012 and m
I’ve already tried every option to improve or fix the slowness in Lightroom’s Develop module. Nothing worked—nothing at all—except downgrading to an earlier version (but that’s absurd; I pay to have the best).
Have been having a lot of crashes with LRc 15.4.1 for a week or so. Currently the situation is so bad, that moving from library to dev the app crashes every time. I’ve been sending a lot of crash reports. I’ve also tested multiple files from different cameras over past 20 years, the issue stays.I’ve also tested downgrading LRc, issue doesn’t go away. I also tested the other Lightroom, Photoshop, Bridge and Bridge (beta) - all crashing equally the same, when changing to dev/edit or in case of bridge an ps, just opening any raw file. This suggests that the problem is somewhere in Adobe shared runtime stack that is used by all of the apps. I also repaired Creative Cloud installation, no help. Files can be opened just fine in any other capable app. I created new catalogs to see if it was catalog corruption, but it is not. I have gone through all the usual Windows error checkings, sfc, dism, chkdsk, even the memory check. no problems there. All my other apps and even games work fine. Window
Fix the scaling of the top menu (File, Edit, etc.) so that the size can be changed. On a 4k monitor the size is tiny and not readable. Changing the windows scaling does NOT the make the menus size change. Changing the size in Lightroom preferences also does not change the top menu size. Most other Apps, such Microsoft Word, etc.,. scaling will change the top menu size but in Lightroom. This problem has been around for 5+ years and it is NOT a Windows problem (their Apps scale). See attached screenshot. The ONLY way I found to change it is too change the monitor resolution to something lower than the actual monitor resolution. That is NOT a fix.
So I just did the most recent update for Lightroom Classic through CC. When I opened it I noticed the AI Denoise option has been replaced. When I selected the denoise option the following errors happened in the pictures attached. Any ideas to fix this?
Since the recent updates I have intermittently experienced a number of issues when using Lightroom Classic 15.4.1 on a Windows 11 PC (System info below):program crashed on one or two occasions; program switches from Develop to Library mode by itself; clipping indicators show in green rather than red; ‘Before’ image does not appear when selecting Before / After; Masking fails to find landscape features, subject or object and pop-out closes; Adaptive colour profile does not work.None of these issues were present before the update, and I tried the masking in Lightroom (desktop) without problems on an image where LR Classic failed to find the subject or landscape features. I have tried switching between ‘use graphics processor’ and ‘off’ but it does not seem to make a consistent difference - sometimes things work as expected, the next time they don’t.Lightroom Classic version: 15.4.1 [ 202606201310-b9f148a4 ]License: Creative CloudLanguage setting: enOperating system: Windows 11 - Busine
Lightroom Classic renders local Radial Gradient masks differently in Develop vs Library/Export Hi,I have a reproducible issue in Lightroom Classic that started after moving to a new computer. My workflow relies on presets containing local Radial Gradient masks. On certain photos (not all), the image looks correct in the Develop module, where the Radial Gradient is applied properly. However, when I switch to the Library module, the image immediately becomes darker, as if the Radial Gradient mask is no longer being applied. The exported JPEG matches the Library module, not the Develop module.I have already tried:* Updating Lightroom Classic to version 15.4.1* Rebuilding previews* Disabling GPU acceleration* Creating new previews* Testing on multiple imagesAdditional findings:* The issue only happens on certain photos.* It is related to local Radial Gradient masks.* Creating a completely new Radial Gradient on a different image works correctly.* Saving the problematic edit as a preset reprodu
I’m shooting raw with an OM System OM-3 + 17mm f1.8 II. Regardless if import is by “Copy to DNG” or just “Copy”, the inbuilt profile is not read. Distortion is obvious. In OM Workspace, the profile is read. To get the correction, I need to go into Develop>Lens Correction and tick Enable Profile Corrections. It makes the correction. The dialogue box shows:Setup: DefaultMake: OM Digital SolutionsModel: OM 17mm F1.8 IIProfile: Camera SettingsI’ve never had this problem before, albeit with other OM gear. It usually shows an icon indicating that the inbuilt lens profile has been read.
when I use the mask option in lightroom, I click on people, lightroom takes a few seconds, like its looking for people to select, but then I get a message no people found. I am using lightroom classic v15.4.1
OK, I'm not sure I can describe this good. But sometimes LR is slow when you start a few tasks, like exporting images to jpgs, web galleries, etc, that you wish that those could be done at a time when you're not by your computer (say at a coffee break, lunch or even leaving the office for the day). It would be cool with a feature where you could queue several tasks, that can be done when the computer is having "down time" or when you tell it to "start processing task queue" or similar. Or a possibility for third party vendors to script something like this (or even yourself if you're fairly good as scripting).
Being able to auto export photos after denoising or syncing edits would be great. A lot of the times I leave my laptop unattended for a while with the photos denoising, being able to automatically export them to a folder would be really handy, then I can get them to my clients as fast as possible. (I do sports photography, most of the time inside, hence the deniosing)
Hi everyone, I'm currently trying to migrate my entire Lightroom CC library (about 41,440 images) into a new, empty Lightroom Classic catalog. However, the sync in Lightroom Classic is extremely slow: after more than 20 hours, only about 3,200 images have been downloaded. For comparison:On the same system, I also ran the Lightroom Downloader app, which downloads all images in about 20 hours total – many times faster. The app maintains a stable download rate of 30–100 Mbit/s, with peaks up to 200 Mbit/s. But when I pause the Downloader and activate the LrC sync instead, the download rate drops to below 1 Mbit/s, with only occasional peaks and very long idle times. Sync activity in LrC barely progresses, and it seems to load only 1–2 images at a time, with frequent stalling. Both apps are:Running on the same systemUsing the same networkTalking to the same Adobe serversSo I can safely rule out any system or network bottlenecks. I've already tried:Resetting th
Hi everyone, since I did the update of Lightroom when I try to edit a photo in Photoshop All the edits disappear and the photo look completely washed out, not sure what to do. I need some help with this one, thanks in advance
