Can't buy just a single image from Adobe Stock

This isn't a question, more of a vent. I'm a designer with 20+ years experience. I've purchased thousands of photos from other stock houses. But never used Adobe for stock. Today I decided to try it, found a image I liked and the only way I can get it is with a recurring subscription?!

Called customer support and they confirmed it. This is mind boggling.

So I need one photo (vector actually) for a client and I have to be part of a recurring subscription cycle. No thanks Adobe. Back to Getty I go.

Hi @stonepier,

We do have subscriptions that should fit your needs. If you are only going to need an asset now and then you can purchase the 3 image plan. It's a month-to-month plan with no annual commitment.  We also have a one time offer on the Adobe Stock site, which is a 10 image annual subscription, and the first month is free. Cancel within the first 14 days after signing up for this subscription and there is no termination fee. Additionally you can purchase credit packs, they expire 1 year after purchase and you can buy as few as 5 credits at a time.

Adobe is missing the point. I don't want any plan. I want to purchase credits for the one image I want and be done. Don't want to have to cancel a subscription or anything else. Getty and others allow me to purchase just the amount of credits I need at a time. I can neatly invoice my clients for that one time expense and move on. I have a clean and clear receipt to submit if needed and can bill directly against it.

It's okay though as I found the exact images I wanted on the depositphotos.com and 123rf.com websites.

@stonepier Thank you for the additional feedback. I'll pass this on to our product management team.
