Thank you for reaching out, and sorry for the trouble you're experiencing with fonts. Would you mind telling us the version of InDesign installed on your machine? Could you please attach a screenshot or screen recording showing the font malfunctioning for better understanding? Does that happen with all files or with a specific file? Are these Adobe fonts or third-party fonts? Please share the names of the fonts.
Meanwhile, you may try signing out of the Creative Cloud Desktop app, restarting your machine, signing back in, and then launching InDesign to try again. You may also try clearing the font cache as mentioned in this article.
