Trying to install 2023 Photoshop Elements ( was on my MacBook Air) to iPad Pro.    You don't install apps on your iPad like you do on a MacBook Air. You install apps on your iPad exclusively via the Apple App Store. Apple takes a % from the app vendor for every app purchased via  the App Store.   There is no iPad app for Photoshop Elements but there is Photoshop on the iPad (which is a different interface to desktop Photoshop and does not yet have all the same features). probably because the CS5 CDROM was an upgrade and not the full licensed media.  By @davids16574943   That shouldn't matter. I always upgraded using the serial number from the earlier version upgrade as a qualifying serial number.   So when I installed CS6 as an upgrade, I entered the CS6 upgrade serial number then the CS5 upgrade serial number. I sympathise - because it's not for everyone - but it's inaccurate to say the Cloud is only good for heavy users. Adobe has plenty of casual, freelance and student users.
