Thanks Nancy. I have, which is why I can't find it. A lot of us contributed to a wealth of free images. So is Adobe profiting from them on Stock now? It used to be a fantastic shared resource. Obviously didn't make money for Adobe though. Hmmm.

I have no idea how to find Creative Cloud Market any more since CC upgraded itself to a desktop application. It doesn't appear to be online either. It is a valuable resource to which I myself and thousands of others contributed free of charge and now it seems like we are locked out. Or am I missing something? Where do I find it now?

Thanks but that doesn't help, Srishti. The ONLY workaround that works for me is setting Adobe PDF as the default printer, because my actual default printer is on the network. Which is a PAIN. And this is ONLY an issue with Illustrator and absolutely NO other program on my PC. So this OBVIOUSLY A BUG. It still exists in 2019 and there have been numerous updates BUT THE ISSUE HAS NEVER BEEN ADDRESSED BY ADOBE! This is not good enough Adobe, I thought fixing this sort of thing is why we are paying a subscription, how wrong.

When I start a CC app I keep getting Activation Limit Reached, even though I'm only using it on two devices. When I go Manage My Plan > Activated Devices there are 3 devices - My desktop and my laptop plus one other device: "Unknown Windows Device" So whenever I deactivate it after a time it comes back again, and my apps get activation limit reached. this is extremely annoying. What's going on and how do I stop it?

I tried editing the registry as follows: Key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\Applications\Illustrator.exe\shell\open\command was set to "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator CC 2018\Support Files\Contents\Windows\Illustrator.exe" "%1" I changed it to "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator CC 2019\Support Files\Contents\Windows\Illustrator.exe" "%1" That fixed it! I just wonder why the upgrade didn't just do this. We shouldn't have to be diving in and hacking the registry.

I cannot set .eps to open in Illustrator 2019 by default in Windows. It will always open in 2018. Even after I go to the trouble of choosing "Open with…Other applications" and navigating to AI 2019 executable, when I select it it will still open in 2018! In "Settings-Defaults" only AI 2018 is available. No 2019. And my only other option is to "Choose another application from Microsoft Store". WTF? This is very frustrating. How do I fix this?

Unable to open files saved on a previous version! Modal reads "Cannot read property 'postscriptName' of null". Click on "OK" and document window goes blank. I have deactivated all my Adobe fonts and switched off Suitcase and it still won't work. What a complete waste of time and effort all my earlier work was!! I suppose this is not actually ready for prime time and it's really just a toy to play around with. But it should say up front that it's beta! I need to recover these files. How do I roll back to a working version? Win 10 + latest version of XD. Suitcase v20.

Why does Bridge continue to associate with OLD versions of Adobe apps? All Photoshop associations are 2018. Even when it's not installed! And Illustrator is 2018 too. When I reset all associations to default it remains the same. And when I try and change associations the current programs are not available in the dropdown, even though sometimes older versions are! The only way is to navigate to the specific app in Explorer! This is ridiculous!

After much mucking around I finally solved it by switching my default printer to PDF. The Windows update must be incompatible with my installed printer driver. Somehow my default printer driver is affecting Illustrator. The printer still seems to work no problem on the system, but Illustrator doesn't like it any more.

Illustrator 2019 (27.0.3) started taking at least 60x longer to save in Windows 1809! Since posting I realise it is happening with some files only. They are simple files but I can't figure out why they are are causing AI to crawl. Here is an example: Dropbox - rat-ico-green.ai A simple A4 page with a rectangle or text will save no problem. As soon as I place something or paste something into that simple file it goes from taking 1-2 seconds to taking over 2 minutes to get to the save dialog! Process: 1. Draw text, rectangles, curves -> save as -> 1-2 seconds -> save dialog -> click OK -> done 2. continue with above file -> Paste jpeg (or place jpeg) -> save as -> 2+ minutes! -> save dialog -> click OK -> done 3. continue with 2. -> Delete previous jpeg -> save as -> 1-2 seconds -> save dialog -> click OK -> done 4. continue with 3. -> paste ellipse only from rat-ico-green.ai (above) -> save as -> 2+ minutes! -> save dialog -> click OK -> done BTW resetting prefs made no difference. Illustrator has become unusable!

When I export assets or "Save to web" using legacy export, I have started getting the "some names of the files being saved contain non-latin characters" nag window. And there are no non-latin characters in any of the file names. I can click "Don't show again" but why am I even getting it?

Photoshop 20.0.4 has just been released and Adobe is NOT listening to its users! What a surprise. They have not made any changes to deal with this issue. There needs to be a toggle for this behaviour in preferences at the very least.

OK now I realise this is not from Adobe. The "Troubleshooting How-To Guide" in the above link stated "You need at least 16GB of RAM to run effectively". The fact remains that 14 is so much slower and more unstable than 13, and I don't consider it suitable for my production environment, which is why I'm staying with 13.

I see in this document the minimum RAM requirements have suddenly jumped from 2GB (8GB recommended) for CC2018 (InDesign system requirements | CC 2018 and earlier) to a minimum of 16GB! That was certainly not advertised in "What's New"! This is just getting worse. Thanks, I think I will just stick with the last stable version, 13.1, which ran perfectly well with my 12GB RAM. Thanks for the link - some really good InDesign resources.
