What I'm saying is that when choosing Hardware Encoding for that setting, it has nothing to do with either AMD or nVidia GPU's. That setting uses the QuickSync feature of Intel CPUs.

I always recommend folks use a proper Digital Audio Recorder for voice over, so I don't know what kind of files PP creates when you do that internally. But I can see the possibility that such is the problem. You can't link original media back to Cache files. Maybe something similar is happening here.

This could be the result of Premiere 'consolidating' the footage as it is imported The blue indicator you refer to has nothing to do with consolidation, which Premiere Pro doesn't do on it's own. That indicator is for Cache files, something very different.

If Cineform proxies are actually connected and turned on, then the only other possible explanation I can offer is that you have a system issue. Something is not working properly with your machine.

45 Minutes of maintaining good gimbal technique is a herculean task. I'd say virtually impossible. Having once tried to do that, I definitely agree. You need to shoot for that long, you need a tripod.

I can stabilize 1 hour long videos of the same "shakiness" in Final Cut Pro X. And I can change the RAW settings for every clip in a timeline at once in Resolve...but not in Premiere Pro. Different software frequently has different capabilities. This can't be news to you.

PRPROJ are project files, not presets. MOGRT are motion graphics files, not presets. You open project files. You import Motion Graphics from within a project.

When it opens the source monitor I click on the wrench in the lower right and say open source in timeline. OK. That is something I'm unfamiliar with. But you shouldn't need to do that. If a sequence is open in the Source Monitor, you can just work it like any other clip, where the icon in question will change the Insert/Overwrite behavior.

When I import the video assets I import the folder That might cause issues. Instead, create the bin manually and use Media Browser to navigate to the media, selecting and importing the clips that way.

The GPU isn't used for decoding, so this could be normal depending on your source material. I recommend using the native proxy process, choosing the appropriate Cineform preset, for all H.264/5 media. Work offline using proxy media |

I'm still confused. You say disregard the Source Monitor, then you go on to mention it again. So I'm not clear on what you're doing. Here's what I recommend. 1. Load the sequence you want to copy from into the Source Monitor, set In/Out points, use shortcuts to add to the Master sequence. OR 2. Open both sequences, use the mouse to Select/Copy/Paste from one to the other.

Once you add the clips to the Multicam Source Sequence, they will appear as angles in the Multicam Target sequence, which is what you cut from.

Open the Multimcam Source Sequence by selecting it in the bin, right clicking and choosing Open in Timeline. (Open in Sequence?) From there you can manually add the new clips.

Any ideas? You're starting with a finished product. That's not the way things are done in the professional world. You start with original media, edit something, create the subtitles and finish with the very thing you're trying to start with.
