Many people are having problems with NVIDIA 50 series cards on all video apps. Some have had success rolling back or updating with a clean installation of a Studio driver. Others have had to use earlier versions of the video app.

Try updating or rolling back your graphics driver directly from the video card manufacturer’s site. If NVIDIA, do a clean installation of a Studio Driver (NOT a Game Driver).

Check the Audio Hardware Preferences. Default Audio Input should be set to No Input.

Try resetting the CC App. To reset the Creative Cloud desktop app, make sure it's in the foreground, then press: Win: Ctrl + Alt + R Mac: Cmd + Opt + R If that doesn't work, try uninstalling and reinstalling the CC App: https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/creative-cloud-desktop-app-download.html

What are the complete computer specs, including hard drives (how many, what kind, what is on each, what capacity, and how full)? If NVIDIA graphics, make sure to use the latest Studio Driver from NVIDIA (NOT the Game Driver).
