Many users are having issues with VFR. Create a new sequence with the original video and audio on the timeline. Replace the original audio with the enhanced audio. Export to a virtually lossless intermediate file like ProRes. Replace the original file in the Project Panel with the intermediate file.

Do you have any tips on how I could do this while keeping the walking part completely invisible and ensuring the video stays in sync with the audio? By @Samek_Love Since it's only 5 seconds, I would cut out the 5 seconds and play with time remapping or time stretching and adjust the audio to match. Make a copy or copies of the original sequence so that you can easily go back to the original if that doesn't work for you. Another option might be to insert some b-roll over that or cut it in and use some transitions like a blur and/or a bokeh effect.
