I posted this a bit ago and got no answers, then searched further into lightroom discussions and noted it's been requested since 2017.   The sync feature of lightroom is very sloppy, all or nothing. It's essentially impossible to use different devices to work on select projects for this reason.    Example problems: - I wanted to upload some favorite pictures on my phone to a folder on the cloud in lightroom, and then work on them on my computer. I can't do that without first downloading 7000 pictures that are already on my cloud to my phone. - I wanted to to download onto my phone a specific folder to work on that I'd sorted on my computer. I can't do that without first downloading 7000 pictures that are already on my cloud.   Solution: Allow a "manually sync this folder only" feature and a "manually sync this album only" feature.   For a program that costs so much and is designed and advertised and priced as a high-end editing program, it sure lacks some basic features. There is a better answer...   Illustrator adds IDs not classes to objects. BUT There are 2 workarounds: 1- Name your Layer then target objects on that layer using #LayerName g. This will target any groups on that layer. 2- When Illustrator sees 2 objects with identical IDs it will dynamically apend a unique string to the ID name eg #Layername_8798..89798. You can treat these in the same way you can a CSS class by using wildcard selectors: eg.  [id^="LayerName"]. This will target any ID beginning with "LayerName" ... View more

XD does not use points, it uses pixels. If you're viewing a desktop design on a desktop at 100% zoom, 17 px in XD should match 17 px in CSS. For mobile devices you'd have to figure out the correct zoom level (it's not 100%). It sounds to me more like the issue is your zoom level not being correct in XD, more so than an actual XD to CSS issue. ... View more

If the Remove tool in Photoshop still won't initialize, it might be because some components need to be downloaded from Adobe's servers. Here are some steps to troubleshoot the issue: Check Internet Connection: Ensure your computer is connected to the Internet, as the required components need to be downloaded. Free Up Disk Space: The feature components require between 0.5 GB to 1 GB of disk space. Make sure you have enough free space available. Change Preferences: Go to Preferences > Image Processing and select the More Stable option for Remove Tool Processing. So 2025 version of Photoshop is still not respecting the full specification of PNG with 8-bit tranparency.  WORSE...2025 under Rosetta (on a Mac) doesn't support ANY "Export As.." options.  The feature is broken.  A very unsettling session with customer support that wanted to share computer access lead to a stream of "sudo" permission requests.  DON'T upgrade to 2025 if you need the legacy export options.  Export works in native mode on Macs...but the PNG issue remains. ... Yes, other (somewhat newer) topics traced this glitch to ligature issues. IIRC it was font-specific, indicating some variation in the glyph mapping or overall kerning metrics for some fonts.   It's avoidable by not using FXL. 🙂 ... View more

@oleh_3997 Number one, please log out in both platforms, and just log into the 'work one'...like you, I also have two Adobe Accounts...it's confusing.  Since your screen shot shows Xd, you are essentially have it. So, log back into the adobe.com with your work email.... https://www.adobe.com/apps/all/all-platforms see the 'orange' u .... scroll all the way down until you see Xd:   *NOTE: If by chance you don't see it at the bottom, you may need to wait at least 24 hours. I have read here some people had to wait between 48 hours to 72 hours.... my students have been able to see the 'Install' button within 24 hours after logging in, and yes, we also have the 'Adobe for Enterprise,' and my personal one also shows for 'Adobe for Teams too ... Adobe XD  is great for newbies. Figma is also good. Both tools are good. Ultimately its up to you which one you choose. I suggest to review design of some sites or apps, and practice them on both tools. This way, you get a good idea of both the tools. ... View more
