Acrobat Reader

Hello, are there updated installers for Reader 2020 (Class Track) available, or do I have to use the base release and then update it? Thanks and greetings,Martin

Hi, I am making PDF maps for my company to use. They are being made in Bluebeam Revu 21. The plan is to allow employees to view these massive PDF documents in Adobe Reader and select the layers they need to see. When opening the PDFs in Acrobat Reader, the child layers remain even when i deselect the parent layer. Then the child layers become grayed out. I have many parent layers and child layers and cannot expect employees to go and deselect 50 layers every time they open it.I cannot make most of the layers "Default: No" on view due to the fact every employee will wish to see different layers. I attached some pictures of an example document to illustrate. Bluebeam Revu shows what I want: which is the child layers to dissappear when a parent layer is deselected.Please help me!

Bei mehreren PDF Dateien sind die Kommentare verschwunden.Die Dateien wurden 2021 mit der damaligen Adobe Reader Version erstellt.Dabei wurden Kommentare sowie Textfelder erstellt. Diese sind nun nicht mehr vorhanden.Der Adobe Reader ist auf der aktuellsten Version.Auch auf anderen Rechnern in unserem Netzwerk sind die Kommentare nicht im Adobe sichtbar. Die Geschützte Ansicht sowie die geschützte Ansicht ist aus/deaktiviert. 

Hi When I click on the highlight tool and highlight a specific text, the cursor automatically goes straight to the hand tool. When I hover my cursor over the hand tool, it is described as 'click to pan around the document'. This means that every time I want to highlight a text in my document, I have to reclick the highlight button which is quite annoying. I would like to keep my highlight tool on as I go through the pages of my document so that I can highlight different texts without reclicking the highlight tool. I have Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.Can someone please please help me?  Kind regardsAlexandra 

This is when the PDF is created and rendered/previewed from Acrobat Reader and the issue is there for latest acrobat version too.When you open the PDF in Acrobat Reader and then when you scroll it and if you have more that one page in the PDF, it gives an error saying "There was a problem reading this document (135)".Is this a known issue in Acobat? Any resolution? Reinstalling acrobat version didn't help.Thank you in advance...!/Manu

Is there a way to go back from the Update, I hate the new interface, can't do as much and can't find a lot of things!!!!!!!!!!! Hate this new Adobe!

Hi, I bought new laptop, win 11 if it is important. I downloaded Acrobat Reader 2023.008.20470, installed it but Adobe PDF (Virtual printer) wasn't installed.Tell me please what i did wrong? On the old laptop i just installed Acrobat Reader and printer automatically installed too. 

I don't know why, but from time to time Adobe Reader asks me to sign in, and I've been doing this with my username and then I have to enter my password. At some point, I remember the app asking if I wanted to sign in using touch ID, but I said no - don't ask me why! But I'm tired of having to go look for my password every time the app demands that I sign in. What do I have to for the app to allow me to login using touch ID on my MacBook Air?

I have downloaded the latest Acrobat Reader on a pc running Windows 11 and using Google Chrome.Windows Explorer is history. I want to have miniature images of the front pdf file instead of the Acrobat icon. I have chosen the correct setting within acrobat reader for this option, but it still shows the icons. I used to have those miniature images earlier.  What is the reason for this ? How do I get the miniature  images back ?

Good day to everyone.There's been an update that completely ruined the interface for me. I had the things in needed on the top and now I cant manage to find anything anymore.It took me days to find how to take a screenshot of a whole page even though it used to be a separate button for it.Can someone explain to me how to bring that button back (it used to look like a pic of a camera)? Hello Adobe Community, We have been experiencing issues with some users printing PDFs, especially large ones. We have Ricoh copiers, and when a large PDF is sent to the copier, it often takes hours (if not longer) to process in the copier and be ready to print. The PDFs that most often have major issues are large sheets of music. These music pages include music notes primarily, and not just text. For instance, one PDF of music is 153 pages, and, when sent to the printer, is 117 MB. However, even smaller prints of music (around 80 pages/30 MB) struggle to print out. What makes things worse is that when the copiers are processing the print job, it often causes all other print jobs to be unable to print. That, combined with the incredibly long time it takes to print the job, makes it so nobody else can use the copier for hours on end. The person printing these sheets of music will continue to need to print, so I was hoping to figure out what is going wrong when they send th

Hallo,ich nutze den Adobe Acrobat Reader in der Version 23.008.20470.0.Nunmehr habe ich Probleme damit, dass bei jedem Start das ausgewählte Dokument immer im Fenster minimiert angezeigt wird. Trotz intensiver Suche und durchstöbern der Einstellungen habe ich leider keine Lösung dafür gefunden. Vielleicht kann jemand helfen.Danke und Grüße,Thomas 

Hi,I have some PDFs that I have annotated on my iPad using iAnnotate. They include sound clips with feedback for students on their writing.When I tested the PDFs in Adobe Reader DC on Windows they worked fine. I could click the audio icons and the audio played back as many times as I wanted it to. On macOS (10.14.4) with Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Version 2019.010.20099 the audio plays back once per sound clip. In order to play the clip again, I first have to close the document and re-open it, after which it is able to play back exactly once (rinse and repeat). Since the Windows version works fine, I'm assuming it's an issue with the Mac build or something related to audio output on the system. Is this a known issue, and are there any possible workarounds that are less troublesome for the students who have to work with the audio feedback in their documents?Cheers,Thomas

Greetings all,Have a major headache, I have this fillable application with a QR code in it. It previews in Outlook 365 and on my iPhone perfectly, but if I open it in Adobe Reader or Print it, it converts the QR code to |||||0|||||0|||||||||0|||||| This is my second day working on this, Adobe Support was of no avail, does anyone have any ideas??? Thank you in Advance,

I created a form with several fields that need to be fill-out for a user, sign the document and date it. I found that with e-signing, Adobe is redirecting to "save" the document. After is backing up to keep going with the file to fill-out the date field. Save again. Means the user is saving the pdf at least two (2) times. The user is attaching the pdf to an email and sending to say Supervisor1. Supervisor1 download and open the pdf but can edit/modify the content of the fields that the first user filled-out. Supervisor1 sign, save, add date and save again. Attach the file to Supervisor2 who is repeating the process (able to modify/edit the fields). What am I missing?I can not allowed to anyone different than the first user to edit/modify the content of the initals fields. I am attaching the file so you can take a look before say that its no possible.Any help really appreciated. 

Man, if only there was a place to put those floating tools so they didn't cover up the document I'm trying to read...   Good thing we have these giant blank grey bars on both the top and side of the page that can't be used for anything beyond taking up screen space.  What a genuis layout.  Who wants space filled with tools when we can just have grey unusable space!   [abuse removed] or do they simply never actually use the product they are designing?   Maybe both?

I can't figure it out.  the Adobe website says that file type is supported, but I am not able to do it. or do I actually need to purchase a different adobe product to open and view .eps files?

At times I will receive an Adobe PDF at 198%.  I then reduce it to 100% to fit my screen, but I can't seem to save it or send it at 100%, as it always remains at 198% when you open it.  How can I permanently change it to 100% when I open it?

Hello,we have Adobe Reader dc in labs and it is uninstalling itself automatically no idea why we are using Window 10 cb 1709.We deployed the Adobe Acrobat Reader through SCCM. it installs but 1 hour later or so it uninstalls itself. The process is a repeat...Thank you,
