Hi there, We're looking to activate the MIP plugin for Acrobat Reader. I'm wondering if it's still compatible with the newer version, or if we need to revert to an older version to enable the plugin. If so, could you please provide the last supported version? Additionally, does the Reader only allow viewing of protected documents without the capability to classify files? Thanks.
I have Acrobat Reader and I did not have this problem in the past. Like it says in the title, when I am trying to print a pdf, instead of doing so it pops up the save file dialogue. I searched on the internet for a solution and it says about unchecking a "print to file" box. The problem is that the box was already unchecked and I don't know what else I can do. How do I fix this? Thank you for your time!

I am using Acrobar Reader version 2023.008.20470. What I want to do is to open documents in different windows, not in different tabs. I think the procedure should be the following: 1. Disable new Acrobat Reader 2. Choose Edit\Preferences 3. Uncheck "Open documents as new tabs in the same window". The problem is only that I cannot get the system to save this change. When I reopen Acrobat Reader the check is back in the box. Is there anything than can be done? I am on windows 11.

Good day all, I've noticed that we have several versions of Adobe Acrobat Reader that are behind a few versions. It appears that some of them are not checking for updates. If I were to push the latest version of Acrobat Reader to all of these computers, would it update to that version? Or do I need to incrementally update all of them separately?

I am using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC 2105 Release (Classic) | Version 2015.006.30482 to create and distribute shared reviews. My operating system is Windows 10 Enterprise. I am unable to share PDF files via Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Continuous Release | Version 2019.021.20058. After I click the Share button, select Default email application, and then Send, the error message "Adobe Acrobat is unable to connect to your email program" results. In Adobe Acrobat Pro DC 2105 Release, my Email Account preference is my Gmail address. My employer migrated from Microsoft Office and now strictly uses Google Mail. So I am unable to configure Office Outlook, which is not on my computer. How do I solve this problem? Related Post: Publish Comments Button is Not Visible in Adobe Acrobat Reader

Windows 11 updatedAcrobat pro mass lisence Documents that contain a digital signature take several seconds to became operable (the file is opened, but I can not click/do action on it). How do i fix that?
Hi there, I have an Intune managed system where i cannot save the preferences for Adobe Acrobat Reader. Whenever i change something in Edit > preferences it is not being saved and when reopening Adobe Acrobat the settings are reset. This only happens when installing a certain application called Konnekt.io After the application setup completed I sign out of the user account then log back in and Adobe is locked on the settings that have been set before the installation of Konnekt.io. It seems like the registry rules under HKCU are being locked? What can cause this issue and does anybody have the same with other applications? I've also notified Konnekt.io Support team about this matter. Sincerly,Dave
Hi Adobe, I have been trying to get the quick printing function working again on Adobe Acrobat Reader. I have installed any updates, and still no change. Reinstalled the application and reset the printer within Windows. None of this has worked. After a long afternoon of troubleshooting, I have found the problem. It has to do with running the latest version of Acrobat. If you click on the menu and scroll down until it says, turn off the latest version of Adobe Acrobat. Restart the application, and your problems will be resolved. I hope this helps someone who is having the same problem. Josh
This bug was adressed in a previous patch (17.011.30202 Planned update, Sept 14, 2021 — Acrobat & Acrobat Reader DC Release Notes (adobe.com)4328952: Acrobat DC displays incorrect “ou” field instead of “o” field of certificate on the signed PDFbut it seems to be back. It happens to my users who had their acrobat reader version updated and not to clean new installs on new computers. However, uninstalling a problematic version and installing the latest won't solve the problem. Thank you for your help !

When you open a pdf document in Outlook that is password protected Acrobat Reader opens but the password block is slow to respond and you have to enter the password multiple times to get the password to register. It would be much more convenient if there as a Eye Icon there so you can see the password you have typed in.
There are 3 different places where the acrocef folder is located after a clean uninstall & install of Acrobat Reader DC:C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat Reader DC\Reader\acrocef_1C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat DC\Acrobat\AcroCEFC:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat DC\Acrobat\acrocef_1 Which one is actually used by Acrobat Reader DC? Can I delete 1 or 2 of these safely without hindering the application? Each of these folders contain 189 MB of the same files.
I've got a PDF. I am signing it and then add another signature. The first becomes invalid due to changes in the pdf. This happens even though nothing has changed in the byterange of the signature. This also happens when adding dss information after the signature. The problem is only visible in Adobe Reader. Other pdf signature verifing softwares are verifying my signatures. F.e. the EU service: https://ec.europa.eu/digital-building-blocks/DSS/webapp-demo/validation What can I do make adobe verify the signature? An example PDF is attached:"eep_GdPicture.pdf" -> unsigned original"eep_GdPicture_signed.pdf" -> two invalid (says only adobe) signatures
Good evening, I wanted to point out that I have a problem with Adobe Reader version 2023.006.20380 in that suddenly when I open PDF files randomly during the day the program crashes and restarts with the file open. The problem also occurred on my previous PC with Windows 10 Pro (I now have a PC with Windows 11). I tried to follow all the instructions on the Adobe website https://helpx.adobe.com/it/acrobat/kb/acrobat-dc-crashes-on-windows-os.html. How can I solve it? On the old machine I also tried to create a new user profile and format the old PC but the result did not change.
MacBook Pro M1 Max, Ventura 13.6.4Full subscription Adobe, work machine, everything is licensed, no rubbish installed. As the title says, Acrobat is crashing everytime I try to zoom or pan a pdf file.I'm expecting an answer from Adobe, the problem is persisting and our work is massively hindered by it.
Hi, Adobe Acrobat reader, version 2023.008.20470 (I already de-activated new version) Normally, I send my invoices directly with the adobe reader mail function. When I do this I can choose which application I would like to use. In my case there's only the default mailapplication (Outlook) or webmail.I choose the default mail application. Now a new e-mail screen from outlook opens with my pdf in attachment, completely as it should.Almost completely... because the new e-mail doesn't have my default e-mail signature. Instead there's a standard text from Acrobat about pdf's.If I try to replace this with my e-mailsignature, then the signature isn't shown well.In the past this worked normally.I can't find anything about it.Thanks in advance,Geert
I'm sorry to repost this, last post was 3 years ago, and looks like I'm facing the same issue.Powerpoint with embedded video -> pdf - video shows as audio only. Trying to embed the video directly with adobe acrobat yields the same results - audio only. how can I fix this ? googling this I see a lot of users with the same issue.
I use Adobe Reader to properly sign a PDF document. According to the entries in ByteRange, the upper section to be hashed is up to the beginning of the signature, NOT including the '<'. Similarly, the lower section to be hashed starts right after the '>'. Both '<' and '>' belong to neither the data to be hashed nor to the signature itself. However, the standard ETSI EN 319 142-2 V1.1.1 (2016-04) displays the following Fig A.1: The standard insists that both '<' and '>' should be included in the hash.Any idea how to resolve this discrepancy?
Hello! I'm trying to renew my permanent resident card. On Immigration Canada's website, I have clicked on their link to open up the application form. A PDF page opens up which states "Please wait. If this message is not eventually replaced by the proper contents of the document, your PDF viewer may not be able to display this type of document." It then tells you how to upgrade to the latest version of Adobe Reader. I have downloaded the latest version, but it makes no difference. I still can't get to the application form. Being Immigration Canada, there's no way of communicating with them. Does anyone have any thoughts on what else might be wrong, or if there is other action I may be able to take? Thanks very much.
