Acrobat Reader

Hello, I have been trying to print a booklet through Acrobat Reader. I am using Acrobat Reader version 2021.005.20058 on a Macbook Air. The document I am trying to print is in the size 8.5 x 11 inches, but I am printing on 8.5 x 13 in paper. So, through "page setup," I set the scale to 110% and set the paper size to 8.5 x 13 in. The preview being shown to me reflects these settings, however, when I actually print it, the scale looks like it is only 100% and looks like it was set for a 8.5 x 11 in paper size. What went wrong and how do I fix it?

To anyone that uses adobe acrobat reader dc, is there a way to recover a signature?  I had saved my signature on it a while back so whenever i had to sign documents i would just click on sign and there is that signature that i saved a while back and just bring it to the signature line.  Its in the top where you see the Sign and when I click on it, it gives option of add signature and add initials.  Previously I had my signature there but its no longer there.  The issue though is i accidentally clicked on the hyphen - next to it... which deleted it. So when this happened, I decided to just close the acrobat reader dc document that was opened and not save changes... thinking the saved signature would be there. But when i open acrobat reader dc... its no longer there. It was my signature that i wrote on a piece of paper a while back and took a picture with it on my iphone i believe and saved it to acrobat reader dc.  Does anyone know if there is a way to

Is there a list of Error Codes for Acrobat Reader?The error numbers are difficult to solve without knowing what they mean.

Why/How did some of my PDF documents get a (.zip) extension? I can't open these files the usual way. I now need a un-zip app to open them.Help...if you can.

When I get a pdf attchment and try to prview it in Outllok 2016, it gives me an error. I have tried all the suggestions as far as re-installing changing the settings for Adobe Reader to enable thumbnails.Also made sure t Attachment preview is not turned off .Registry settings  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Classes\CLSID\{DC6EFB56-9CFA-464D-8880-44885D7DC193} Please advise. Really need this fixed. This is happening on multiple computers that have Reader and in a Windows setting. 

Hve gone through forums all suggestions fail as there is no chat box etc. Cancelled plan yet they are still taking money, can't contact them as there are no details anywhere just pointless suggestions for what my problem could be

I want to give a yellow backgroubd to all found words. Let's say 12 words "word" are found. Then I need to set all of them a yellow background. Can I do that? If so, how?

I am on macOS High Sierra using Acrobat Reader. When I right click on any other app, for example Word, it shows me all the windows that are currently open and I can click and switch to them. When I right click on Adobe reader and I have lets say 3 open files it doesn't show me any of those files open to click. Instead I have to click "Show All Windows" to switch between files. Is there a fix to this?

Hi all,I am new to Adobe. I am trying to create a form with a signature field. The problem I am having is that as soon as I sign the document, it automatically saves, and I do not want it to do that. Any tips? 

I recently bought a MacBook Air and my acrobat reader needs an update since it's incompatible with MacBook Air until an update is made by the owner of the app. It tells me to contact the support for the app, but have no clue how to do that and end up in this community support group. Does anyone know if I'm SOL in using Acrobat Reader on my MacBook Air? If so, any suggestions for a .pdf reader I should download? I use acrobat reader on my iPhone and iPad on a regular basis and am so disappointed I don't have this capability on my MacBook Air.

I have a document with the following text that seperates chapters: = = = = = = I copied that from the document and then pasted into the search box and it found 55 occurances within the document. HOWEVER... after a few hours reading through the document and using the search to go back and forth between various chapters the search reports "No matches found"  My workaround is to exit Acrobat Reader and reload the document, then search can find the text again. My system is comprised of an intel core i7 with 16GB RAM running 21H1 version of Windows Pro and Acrobat Reader version 21.005.20060  (it reports no updates available) The file has the following specifications as reported by Acrobat Reader:PDF Producer:  Acrobat Distiller 4.04 for WindowsPDF Version:    1.3 (Acrobat 4.x)File Size:           3.27MB (3,429,890 Bytes)Page Size:          8.50 x 11.00 inPages:     

On top of my commercial real estate investment business, I am also a licensed realtor, notary public, and certified loan signing agent. When trying to print two (2) 150-page VA refinancing packets, my Brother printer would suddenly shut down and restart after 15-20 pages. At first I thought it was an issue with my dual tray laser printer, so I reached out to Brother's tech support. When we tested printing documents outside of Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, it printed fine but wouldn't print the legal pages on legal and the letter-sized pages on letter within the larger packet (having various page sizes in a document occurs in nearly 100% of the packets we print). Hello,I have been working with Adobe Reader for a long time. I am currently having issues with my Adobe DC. It works fine on my MacBook Air but unfortunately it keeps freezing on my iMac Retina when I click on the highlight button. How do I solve this?

Literally cannot open any pdf. PDF reader has worked for me in the past, a number of months ago. I have reinstalled the program mulitple times, nothing. I am able to open Reader DC, but if I try to open a pdf, any pdf, it simply closes and doesn't tell me anything. Completely useless. I've tried speaking to Adobe tech support and they can't do anything since I don't pay for this service. It is advertised as free, and should work as it always has throughout human history. It would be greatly appreciated if someone at Adobe could address this issue, as being able to open PDF files is crucial to most functions on a computer. I click on a pdf, nothing happens. I try to open through Reader DC, nothing happens and it closes. Can't be elaborate much more than that. Any help would be appreciated. Windows 10 user btw.

Hi, I was just reading my assignment (PDF) for class. I highlighted the text and made comments. When I tried saving the file, I got an error saying that the file cannot be saved because it's for reading only. Next thing I know, all the texts disappeared. I still have my highlights and comments although they are meaningless because I don't know which part of the text these comments are referring to.  I tried the following method but didn't work:Preferences >> Documents >> Uncheck "Save as optimizes for Fast Web View." I don't even know where this PDF is located... the PDF file I found has no highlight or comment on it (I probably downloaded the same document twice). I need this document for my assignment tomorrow (Tuesday), so please help.  Thanks so much! 

Hi, I've been dealing with an issue with Adobe Reader opening on a clients computer.The application is crashing immediately when opening both .pdf's or when trying to open adobe by it'self. I've tried disabling protected mode through the registry, and still haven't had any luck.I tried repairing, and reinstalling the newest version of Adobe Reader, and opening on a different user profile, and issues still persist. I tried uploading the .DMP files, however they're a couple MBs too large to be uploaded in the built in drop box. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know! I'm stuck on this one. 

When I open MS Word, a blank document, at 100% zoom I can measure the page at 8.5" wide with a ruler physically put across the screen. The ruler in word also shows 8.5" wide doc. When I open a document in Adobe Reader DC that is a normal 8.5x11 doc, set to 100% zoom, or "Actual Size" physically measuring the width comes in at 9.75". Using the measure tool in Adobe shows the doc is only 8.5" wide so why is 100% zoom so far off??    I have to set to 87% zoom to achieve 1:1 measurements from adobe to on screen.This seems like Adobe does not take into consideration different screen resolutions, right??

When searching texts via control + f, Acrobat Reader does not display search marks in the scroll bar, which almost all other PDF programs do nowadays usually in yellow or orange color.  Any way this an be enabled in regular version of AR? 

Hello, all I want to do is a very simple and rudimentary task that I am absolulety astonished at how difficult it is to figure out 1 out of 5 stars in this category Adobe. How do I combine PDFs on adobe reader?? please advise with pictures because I have seen other help and articles that tell you to follow a certain path but that is NOT where the path takes me when I follow the instructions.
