Acrobat Reader

One Adobe reader has share options and shared files on home screen, the other doesn't (see screenshots).1. M1, 2020, Big Sur 11.0.1, Adobe Version 2021.001.20135 (has share options and home screen shared files)2. Air 13-inch, 2017, Big Sur 11.2.1, Adobe Version 2021.001.20135 (doesn't have share options)I know its different language but you get the picture.Any clues? Am I doing something wrong?Both are clean install.

I have tried several options but failed to open my PDF file with all versions I have tried. Other versions either say it is not the right format or that  but  it is corrupted PDF Reader 3.26.3 which works on Android mobile devices was able to open it. All my clients who visit my website complian about this problem, so I request that they download PDF Reader 3.26.3  ajdbuse for that purpose which makes the process cumbersome for those who already have other versions of PDF readers. What would you recommend as a way out especially seeing that most clients use desktop applications for this purpose and I can't find an equivalent of this working Android version in the desktop windows Operating System. Ibhave attached a file I used for the above explanations. It opens with PDF Reader  Version 3.26.3 but fails with other versions.

I'm able to open certain set of pdfs in all the softwares without error. It works even in previous versions of Acrobat reader. However, in Acrobat reader 21.001.20135, I'm getting the below error. (There was an error processing a page. There was a problem reading this document (109)). 

I have a customer that is using Acrobat Reader DC and whenever they open a fillable form in Reader, their document will display the attached image; it is normal prior to attempting to fill it out.  The document behaves normally when you open it in a browser (Chrome in this case) and it does this for all fillable forms. I have uninstalled Reader, run the AcroCleaner 64 bit tool, and reinstalled with the latest Reader DC installer, but the behavior is persisting.  I was wondering if anyone has run across this issue before as I am not sure what to call it to do a search.

Every time I try to open a .pdf I get the following:  Every time.  It won't even open using the desktop or start menu link. Uninstalling & reinstalling makes no difference.  

Hello, We're experiencing severe performance issues in SAP Tools when loading PDF documents since we moved from Acrobat Reader v2017 (classic track) to v2020 (classic track). I noticed you released a patch addressing this issue for the continuous track (DC versions): https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/ReleaseNotesDC/continuous/dccontinuousnovember2020qfe.html#dccontinuousnovtwentytwentyqfe  When will this be done for the classic track?  Or is there another way of fixing this problem? Thanks in advance.

I have created a form in MS office then convered it to a writable form in Adobe Acrobat DC(2).the free text box expands as much as the user requires and all thier text viewable on screen.  But when printing the hard copy for the reciepent it only displays the top seciont of text that fits into the preset box height and width. How do I print this so all the text is displayed and printed?thanks

This app has terrible functionality and predatroy subscription model, with "Cacellation Fee".   I reccomend to NEVER EVER support Adobe in their unethical credit card cahrging business model.   This company should be made famous for the dihinsty and traps in the billiing cycles, they dont care aty all about the customers, except to extract MAXIMUM dollars from your account.  NEVER BUY THIS PRODUCT.    I will NEVER purchase another Adobe product in my life, my business wil use other programs.  A classic example of ripping off clietns with predatory charge plans.  

When I opened the PDF in Internet Explorer 11, I got the error "Internet Explorer closed this web page to protect your computer". When I checked the event log, an error with the exception code "0xc0000005" occurred for Adobe Acrobat Reader DC. I would appreciate it if you could teach me the cause and how to deal with it.

Hello all,  I saw in the threads that a lot of people complaned about Adobe Reader not opening PDFs. Same thing happens to me but only when i am conected to my external monitor. It's 32:10 3840x1200 screen, Samsung 89J430. When i disconnect the thunderbolt cable and try to open it on my Laptop (X1 Yoga 3gen) on it's 4k display it works fine, If i then connect it back to my external monitor i can use it untill i close it. If so, i would have to disconnect it and to the whole procedure again. Is there a fix for this? It seams to me it's a resolution or ratio problem.

I can open any pdf file there are just a few that I have this issue with. When opening a select pdf I am immediately prompted with the following pop up Multimedia player finderthe pdf file contains media that requires an additional player. please click get media player to download the correct media player. to play media you will need to close and restart the application once the player installation is complete. when I follow steps it brings me to this link. 404 error page (adobe.com) I have attempted the following to resolve the issue;your help guide from web site Playing video, audio, and multimedia formats in PDFs, Adobe Acrobatuninstall and reinstall the applicationremove the file and redownload itupdate tabeand repair installer tabe

Hello.I changed the adobe theme to dark mode.I have an issue in some documents, while opening the bookmarks panel, the subtitles text are dark which does not have enough contrast to be readable.In some other documents the bookmark text turns light automatically, to have contrast with the background.How can this be fixed ?RegardsAryo

Hey, i have created a pdf form with a submit button. The idea is when someone clicks on the submit button after filling out the forms the form is supposed to go to a Microsoft Teams chanel because thats how we have programmed the url section to. it works fine on a desktop the issue that im having is opening it up on a mobile device. Can some one please help me with this.

When I open the Acrobat app on my phone, I am unable to sign in as the Continue button does not work. I have no trouble signing in on a browser online.

As with many others, I cannot open Adobe Acrobat Reader DC in windows 10.Here's what I tried:Tried installing on the C: drive, then giving users full access.  Didn’t WorkTried installing an old version, and installing updates.  Didn’t workUninstalled, removed the reader folders in AppData.  Reinstall.  Didn’t work.Uninstalled, reinstalled with win 7, and once with win 8 compatibility, with and without administrator access.  Once in a while, I'd get a "Protected view" error, and if I shut it off, it'd open, but when I shut it off permanently in reader, I still couldn't get back in.

Hi there,I use this on several machines, and I am finding the File menu keeps changing. When it is first installed the file men looks like the first picture, and then will sometimes change the second picture. I am assuming this is being caused by a PDF being opened but I haven't been able to prevent it, meaning the only way I can revert is to reinstall Reader. Can you tell me firstly what to do to revert back to the first picture without a reinstall, and secondly how I prevent it happening in the first place.Picture 1Picture 2 

GOOD MORNINGI HAVE BIG FILES WITH MORE 100 PAGES, IS IT POSSIBLE TO SEND BIG FILES?

When usiing View -> Full Screen Mode (Ctrl + L) to view a PDF, if I walk away from the computer without leavinf fullscreen, the monitor will not go to sleep automatically at the prescribed time set in the Win 10 "Power & Sleep" dialogue. Does anybody know how to stop this behavour?

Hi,I have downloaded from a legal site an encrypted pdf wich is readable on Adobe Digital Editions 4.5 but not with my Kindle. What should I do ? Thanks

From what I can tell this file is supposed to be rather small. does anyone know if it can be deleted safely? I am running low on space and need to make some room. This is the first unexplainable large file that I would like to get rid of.

Where is the cut and paste tool. I just cant find it on the free adobe. can someone help.thanks
