Acrobat Reader

Hi.Ich habe überall alle Einstellungen richtig stehen und die aktuellste Version von Chrome installiert. Leider werden PDF nur noch im System Viewer angezeigt, jedoch nicht in der Erweiterung von Acrobat Reader. Eine Neuinstallation der Erweiterung hat keine Änderung hervorgebracht.Kann jemand helfen?Danke.

Every time I try to download Acrobat Reader 8.1.2 I get the following error message: Error 1935 - An error occured during the installation assembly. I have Microsoft Vista - Internet Explorer 7. I have a Dell computer.

Issue Description:The only hyperlink in my PDF resume, which goes to my LinkedIn page, does not work. I have an "email link" elsewhere in the document, it works correctly. I do notice that when I mouse-over the hyperlink, I only see a "edit text cursor." Hello,I have a rather very simple question. I'm opening this topic because I couldn't get an answer either here on the forums or via Google.All I want to know is the exact location where Adobe caches the recently opened files & locations. I've already checked in the regular Local and Roaming folders in the user profile but couldn't find any. As a test, I tried deleting the contents of the said folders and replacing them one at a time to pinpoint the recent files cache but failed. Although the settings and preferences are preserved upon putting them back the recent files tab stays empty.So, is it a case of Adobe caching them outside of the user profile folders like somewhere in the registry or elsewhere. If this is indeed accessible to us users I would like to know where so that I could keep a backup for future use.Any advice is appreciated

Every time I download a pdf from anywhere - government site, friend's email, wherever, once the pdf is downloaded and I go to open it there is a box that pops up saying I need to install a "font package".It's extremely annoying - it's every single PDF.  It's not a third party site that I'm directed to, it's coming from Adobe.Out of frustration I finally clicked on the install link and it turns out is some sort of Asian font package - and even after installing it I keep getting the pop-up box for the font package whenever I go to open a downloaded PDF.It happens on my laptop and desktop with two different versions of Windows.Anyone know how to get it to stop the pop-up for the Font Package?????Thank you.

Hi I am trying to deploy Adobe Acrobat Reader via Group Policy and despite it installing, it will not update on any machines, It just produces the error - ERROR 1642The upgrade cannot be installed by the Windows Installer service because the program to be upgraded may be missing,or the upgrade may update a different version of the program. In our enterprise, few users (60+) are facing an issue while launching  the shortcut Adobe acrobat reader DC, "Invalid Plugin detected. Adobe Acrobat Reader DC will quit".   As mentioned in the Adobe technical forum, downloaded the latest patches from vendor site and installed the same. issue was still persist.   later we had used the Adobe utility removal to cleanup the corrupted installation files. Rebooted. Installed the latest version. issue was still persist.   Finally just renamed the plugin folder from this location, C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat Reader DC\Reader\plug_ins and launched the shortcut. it is working as expected.   After successfull launch, changed the folder from plug_ins_rename to plug_ins. launched agian, no issue persist.   Could you please help me to understand why the exisitng plugin files (before deletion) were not working. how do we fix this for large number of users. is there any automated fix for wider dep

Help!  I've downloaded a pattern I purchased online.  The pattern comes with 20 different sizes and is supposed to have "LAYERS" so I can just print the lines for the size I want rather than the pattern printing all sizes on the pages.  I reached out to the owner/creator of the PDF pattern to ask if there is an issue on their end as I have followed all recommended trouble shooting.  Other people are having no issue with the layers, so It's me.  And I'm at a loss.  Can you tell me why I cannot see the layers?  I checked for updates to Acrobat Reader and I'm supposed to be up to date.  See attachment to see how the layers pane is all grayed out and no layers appear.

I am recently having a problem saving PDF files to my USB drive.  Whenever I open an email of a receipt in hotmail on google chrome, I go to "more actions" and hit "print", then hit "print" again where it takes me to a print page that will allow me to change the destination to "save as pdf".  Then it goes back to the print page and allows me to save the file.  When I hit "save", I can set the file name and save as a pdf file.The problem is, when I go to open the file to print it at a later date, all I find is an MS Dos application under that file name.  I have been saving receipts like this for years, and until about three or four months ago, never had any problem.  Also, last month it did the same thing from a vendor's web site.  I couldn't even save their receipt as a pdf file.Can someone help me out?

Hey there,I looked up the internet first to have my issue solved, but I can't find any suitable threads nor do I have the right tags to google.My problem is as follows: I'm opening up a pdf file in Adobe Reader DC which is an employment certificate. it has five columns - one for each day - and my employer wants me to fill it out electronically. So I type something into the monday's column, and after I am finished, the whole Monday's text appears in the other four columns identically. Now, if I want to edit the Tuesday's text, the Monday's text is edited too!I hope you get the problem. I tried many things from the Internet, but nothing helped so far.I'm using Adobe Reader DC, the pdf file is of version 1.6 (Acrobat 7.x), created by a MacOS X 10.12.6 Quartz PDFContext.Any help is highly aprreciated, as a MS Word conversion tends to kill the formatting

Anybody know 1) Andoid phone or Tablet is free to use Reader, correct?2) Cloud will just automatically just kick in when I save a .pdf file to Cloud, correct?3) I have creative cloud on my PC & if I remember correctly, saving a .pdf file to reggular Cloud is just fine, right?Respectfully,Barry

When opening PDF, Print comes out Issue - Acrobat Reader I'm inquiring about an error in Acrobat Reader. Every time I open a PDF file, a print set up screen appears, and if I cancel the print, the PDF file completely closes so I cannot read PDF file. Hallo.  Ich hatte in einem anderen Post ein Problem geschildert, dass ich seit neuestem mit Acrobat habe. Es wurde ein automatisches Update gemacht (Ende Januar). Ich habe nun das Problem, dass ich keine schreibgeschützten PDFs per PDF Drucker drucken kann.  An meinem PDF Druck liegt es nicht. Wenn ich die PDF über Safari öffne und dort drucke, funktioniert es. Nur nicht mehr in Acrobat. Daher gehe ich fest davon aus, das irgendwas geändert wurde durch das Update und ich somit keine geschützte PDF mehr drucken kann. Wird nur eine leere Seite ausgegeben. Somit nun zu meiner Frage. Wie kann ich bei MAC auf die vorigen Version zurück kommen? Vielen Dank für die Hilfe. 

Goodmorning, I've always substituted texts on Acrobat Reader by selecting the wrong word and directly writing the correct word. Unfortunately, it doesn't work in this way anymore.Now, for every single correction I have to select the "substitute" tool and then select the word and then writing the correct word.I know it seems the same, but as a proofreader a correct thousands of errors everyday and that addition click literally double the time of each assignment. I have tried everything, I have also disinstalled the program, but nothing changed.How can I fix this? Thank you for your help. Tommaso

Hi everybody, I have a problem adding comments to a PDF file and saving this file after the work is finished. I got a message (attached on the screenshoot but in German) that the file could not be safed on this name and that i should give the file another name or another point to safe (both is not possible at the moment). Acutally used Adobe Acrobat Version is 2025.001.20474 Have someone had the same problem and a resolution for it? Thanks for helping here. Greetings from Germany Frank
