Acrobat Reader

I am trying to use Adobe Reader to prepare my review of a scientific manuscript (PDF). I have made extensive comments using the commenting functions in Reader. But I have to upload these comments as text to the online journal site. After hours of looking through manuals and online I can find no way to export the comments other than as an *.fdf file which appears to be of no use. I can't upload the original PDF manuscript that contains the comments because the journal site's software doesn't seem to be able to handle them. If I try to export the file as a Microsoft Word file, it doesn't include the comments. Once again Adobe's excessively coercive approach to trying to force us all to only use Adobe products makes it completely useless. Unless there is a solution I'm missing, I will now have to duplicate hours of work to rebuild my review in some other product that allows me to get comments out in simple text form. I used to be able to click on hyperlinks in Adobe Reader Acrobat DC and be taken to their location on the internet. I tried the Help and updated Adobe. That did not help. I also uninstalled and reinstalled it. Still no help. The only thing that changed was I uploaded InDesign. Since then, links in Adobe Acrobat Reader don't work. I have Windows 10.I can open the links fine when I view PDFs in an email. Once I open in Adobe, they no longer work. Really frustrating. Any suggestions on how to remedy this?

Jedoch wird immer wieder das Fenster angezeigt. Dieses soll einfach ausgeblendet werden. Wie mache ich das? Kann mir dabei eine Person helfen? Vielen Dank für die Hilfe!

Par exemple, lorsque je sélectionne un élément dans l’ordre de lecture, puis que je clique sur le bouton "Artefact", rien ne se passe.Auriez-vous une solution à me proposer ou une procédure à suivre dans ce cas ?Est-il possible d’effectuer cette opération directement depuis InDesign ? When trying to open Adobe Acrobat Reader, without admin credentials, the application has an error:"Attempt to call a method that has not been implemented" Then the application cannot open. Adobe Reader opens if run as admin.I've uninstalled the program completely using the Adobe removal tool and reinstalled several times.After the installs, the app updated, but would not open. 

I did a trial of Adobe that allowed me to edit/convert PDFs, but cancelled before the trial period was up.  Now when I try to open one of my PDFs, Adobe wants me to sign in and then asks me  Start your 7 day free trial of Acrobat DC.Start your free trial or   using your Adobe ID. I then have the option to Quit Adobe DC or Buy at Adobe.com or Start a Free Trial.When I click on "Quit," it closes my PDF.  How do I stop this from happening so I can just view my PDFs?Thank you.

Can i delete the files in this folder, they are taking up a real lot of space

I have only recently (and on multiple PCs) had an issue with Acrobat Reader viewing PDF. Hi there,I am currently using Adobe reader DC and X pro. For some reason when i go to select text in a PDF (single line) the cursor size is too big and selects paragraphs rather than a single line.  How do i adjust the cursor size.  See attached screen capture for more details (cursor size highlighted in red).  I am running this on a Windows 10 PC.  Thanks!

I'm running Windows 11 home and continuous reader 2023.006.20380 64 bit. When I try to save my word doc as a PDF via File, Save As the PDF doesn't open automatically anymore - why?? When I do open the PDF the font color changes from white to black on some of the letters. This just started today out of the blue. I have the same problem on a laptop running windows 10. I've uninstalled adobe and reinstalled. Rebooted laptop. Checked COM addin and adobe is not there. I am using Adobe Acrobat via the web-app. So I'm just now learning about e-signatures via Adobe Acrobat. Thus far, I have learned how to add signature fields to a PDF, and I am able to send these documents to specific recipients directly from Adobe Acrobat. However, what I would ideally like to do is create one form with a general signature field that could be signed by any client who may need to. I would like to be able to save this PDF locally, so that I can email it to clients via Microsoft Outlook while CC'ing my colleagues. Or, alternatively, I would like to know how to add CC's when sending a PDF to a client via Acrobat. At the moment, I am able to add multiple recipients, but Acrobat assumes I am seeking a signature from all of them. Is there a way to request a signature from one party via Acrobat, while CC'ing my colleagues without the requirement of a signature from them? Please let me know if any of my questions require clarification. Thank you in adv

I hope I can find a solution here. I recently started printing sewing patterns on my Chromebook using Adobe Acrobat.If I use the app directly to open the document, the print button isn't available, nor is it available via Ctrl + P.If I use Chrome with the Adobe Acrobat extension, I can open the document and print it. However, the options offered by Adobe in Windows aren't available on the Chromebook. That said, to print sewing patterns, they must be printed at their actual size to ensure they are accurate. This option isn't available on Adobe Chromebook, so I use the Custom 100% option. However, the document is too large and cropped on the sides, making it unusable, even when in the print preview the document seems fine. Please, I need help printing the patterns correctly. Is there any way to get the same printing options as on Windows? Can this be fixed? I have attached some images for reference... Thanks!

Hello, I am trying to add a specific website link to a signature, which is https://scridex.ro/v-a-sau-va-cum-se-scrie-corect/ but for some reason whenever I add it it gets changed automatically to https://scridex.ro/Is there any way to add the exact url instead of the homepage url ?This is important because the pdf is about v-a sau va , so using the homepage is kind of pointless 

Hi everybody, I was surprised seeing that Adobe Reader DC is showing the "title" of a PDF in the top bar (above the menu). But actually, nobody is using this functionality when creating PDFs out of Word for instance. (Used Version: 2019.10.20069)How can I change it back in Adobe Reader DC to just see the "filename" of the currently opened document? Thanks, guys, for your thoughts and helpCheers, Chris

I have a MacBook Pro.  I am running Mac OS 10.13.6.  It appears that Adobe Reader was never on this laptop previously.  I subscribe to a few CC apps, and they all work fine on this laptop.  Some of the sites I need to use for work require their plans to be viewed on Adobe Reader.  Every time I attempt to download it fails.  I click the disc image in the downloads folder to start the install and immediately get the error: The following disk images couldn't be opened - AcroRdrDC_180112005 - Reason: Image not recognized". I have updated the laptop, rebooted and attempted to download again.  Same error.  I attempted on both Safari and Firefox.  Same problem, so I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with the disc image download from the browser. Any suggestions?

Hello,Using Acrobat Reader, I have been trying to apply timestamps on documents from a public timestamping server that I have configured. (a TSA that my company manages) Whenever I try to apply a timestamp the following error is returned: SigValue is 1903 bytes larger than expected.After some investigation it turned out that when the timestamp token exceeds 7 Kb this error is returned, otherwise it would work fine, After further analysis we concluded that the size exceeds 7Kb due to the timestamp token including the whole TSA certificate chain which comprises of 4 CAs that all have 4096 key length.Is there any further configurations that can be done on Adobe to allow sigvalue larger than what is expected? 

Hi all, I've seen other discussions about this, but none that I could see about Android version.I have this app installed on my phone, and when I want to share a PDF, the default option is "share as link" through the Adobe cloud. I don't want that. Never.I know there is a workaround, using "Send a copy" - I want that to be the default option or the only option available for me.I've search the preferences of the app, but could not find any option to disable "sharing by link" Thanks

... and I am not referring to the distinction between hand and select tool. I am referring to another problem:I have set my own cursor scheme for Windows (Lefty Scheme) in Windows system settings. Every application accepts that but Adobe Reader. Whenever using the reader the mouse changes from a white arrow pointing to the upper right corner (lefty scheme) to a black arrow pointing to the upper left corner.How can I change this? I want the Reader to use the Windows System setting.I am using Windows 10 Pro 64 Bit, Version 1709, OS Buils 16299.431 and Adobe Reader 2018.011.20038Many thanks for your help. Much appreciated

Hi, i have a issue since some time ago and contacted many times to support but they never fixed it. The issue is when i try to login with my google account on PC never completes due a issue/hang of the app. The process:Click to login.The app opens a window for login, then i click to google and opens the login web, logins ok and the window opened in the app closes ok but here comes the issue, the Adobe Acrobat got stuck/hang on that point forcing me to close the app using task manager because got hanged. I need to force close the app because got stucked/bloqued the UI.When u try to click on the UI, sounds windows DING, DING, DING like something is blocking the UI.Doesnt matter the time u give to the app, it dont respond or fixes. I reopen again and the app isnt logged... I talked with support time ago and i never got a solution for this. (they told me many times that issue is fixed, but i check for app updates, saying my app is updated and still got that issue a
